Yet another compilation of thoughts I've had in the last few weeks!

Our Life can legitimately make me chant "Men! Men! Men! :D" to myself for like ten minutes. And I don't even know if I'm entirely alloromantic!

I don't think I like rain. I've had all sorts of opinions on it over the years; I've loved it, been neutral toward it, and now I actively dislike it. Needing to get to class when it's raining sucks. My place is a roughly twenty-minutes' walk from campus. It's absolutely no fun when the streets start flooding. It's way more of a nuisance than a novelty at this rate.

Y'know, when I game, I only ever play as myself/Munchy about 20% of the time. Maybe 10% of the time, I play as a girl or non-binary character I make up. And then, like, the other 80% I like to play a guy character I make up. But when it's a game where the characters are pre-designed (like Pokémon), the ladies ALWAYS have the better designs. So I play women then :D

I absolutely HATE when my GrubHub says my order is ready, and then I go and pick it up and they're like, "Oh, sorry, we're still waiting on that." Like... then WHY did you change the order status?! Now I'm embarrassed for no reason!

Unpopular Opinion: I think backseat gaming is not only okay, but oftentimes beneficial if it means that someone is getting the best gameplay experience possible.

It's Ota Matsushita. He's scummy but also I love him. Some people think that, even on his route, the game doesn't successfully make him a sympathetic character. The thing they overlook, though, is that even though Mayumi is an incredibly sweet and loving mother, Ota turned out the way he did for a reason. It's in part because she gave him no discipline whatsoever, and shielded him from how dire everything was. The only time we ever see him get scolded is by his dad, in childhood. If we're to believe that Takero was the disciplinarian (barely), then that means the person calling him out on his shit DIED when he was a teenager. Besides, he genuinely does seem to want to do good. He helps Iris in basically any timeline, and can be a useful ally to you in more than one of them.

I don't know why I'm so weepy lately. In the past seven days, I've cried over an aerial silks performance and an episode of Bluey.

FREUD IS THE WORST. EVERY TIME I HAVE TO READ ABOUT HIM I WANT TO WITHER AWAY AND TURN INTO ASHES.

Whenever someone posts/talks about Model UN, it makes me really nostalgic and happy. Agh, it's been way too long. That whole year, I was Malaysia for most of our activities, but I was Turkey at our actual conference. I won an award for my Research report!

Undertale Spoilers for the Pacifist Route:

Unpopular Opinion: "Anime is Real" is the wrong choice. It literally goes against the entire point of the scene that precedes it. We spend such a long time convincing Alphys that she needs to tell the truth about her accomplishments and hobbies— her "scientific movies" are pure entertainment, and not reflective of how humans actually function on the Surface. After doing so, Undyne is more than supportive. But then... "ANIME IS REAL, RIGHT?!" And while some fans even joke that "Anime is Not Real" should bar you from a pacifist route, it's literally putting your money where your mouth is. Lying to Undyne after all that makes you a hypocrite. And it would probably lead to Undyne being worse off in the long run. We GO to the Surface. She has to learn that anime isn't real eventually. I say, better to hear it from her friend than learn that they bold-faced lied to her earlier.

Rediscovering how much I love Domino. GOD, Arcade Spirits 2 is so good. BOTH of the Arcade Spirits games have my whole entire heart.
