I/II/V/VII: Emotional Whiplash and Contemplation

What if... I Was a Teenage Exocolonist characters... but death game/killing game?

Was gonna change my profile picture for a certain site, but every time I found fanart in my photo reel that might work, I just kept thinking, "Oh, but I still really like being Nageki" XD

Alternate Universe sequels always make me SINCERELY nervous. I really like P5R. P5PX is scary. I don't want to touch it.
Edit: Looks like it's gonna be a gatcha game. Definitely not touching it now.

Every time I have plans with someone and they have to pick me up (I don't drive) it makes me really anxious for no reason whatsoever. It's like, I have a fear of being late for things, and when someone is picking me up, I have no control over it. Plus sometimes I fret like "Hey, are they okay, did something happen?" even when they're literally perfectly on-schedule. Hate my brain sometimes.
Edit: OMG, we're actually going to be late. The movie's in five minutes and she's not even here. Hate this, hate this. Make that three minutes.
Update: We were like twenty minutes late but still managed to sit down literally one single minute before the movie started!

Went into a horror game expecting to scar myself. Left with a badass protagonist and a fondness for a voice actor. I'm really uncomfortable in a compelling way, not in a way where I won't be able to sleep tonight! (It's "Parasite In Love," btw) Honestly, the Id ending of Alter Ego was more daunting than this one, even though the very concept of it should've ruined me.

My friend reposted someone's WILD Instagram reel on his story. It was a fish in a bed sleeping with comically loud snoring sounds. And in the background was HIS THEME. FROM UNDERTALE. ONE OF THE MOST EMOTIONAL TRACKS IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES EVER WAS USED FOR A FISH IN A HUMAN BED. It gave me whiplash XD

There's this piece of music in an anime I like. I think I brought it up before. "Kotaro Lives Alone." It's a Netflix original. The art style is a bit of an adjustment but the characters are extremely well-done and it's an exquisitely sad story. In it, there's this one piano piece that nobody has any information for. It's absolutely beautiful, but every attempt to track down the name or composer has ended in failure. A few people have done covers, but they seem to have learned it by ear and basically just call it the "Kotaro Lives Alone (Sad) Piano Song." I find it endlessly fascinating. People seem to adore this piece but it's just kind of a ghost song, which, while a bummer, actually suits this anime so well. The most emotionally potent parts derive from how ephemeral everything is— the joys and the pain. Its best musical piece being impossible to track down feels so representative of that idea.

I don't know WHY YouTube insists I'm interested in Hasbin Hotel or Helluva Boss! I'm NOT! I even checked my history to make sure I haven't clicked on a video about either... nope!

I have to be completely, 100% honest about this: I'm TERRIFIED about the ending of The Owl House. Not only do I essentially feel entirely in the dark about whether things will end well, poorly, etc. But also, that promo is CHOCK-FULL of stuff, and I don't know how they can cram in everything and wrap it all up with a nice bow in 50-ish minutes. I trust Dana to make something well-written, but I guess I'm just scared. Steven Universe's endings were... both controversial. And Star Vs. The Forces of Evil's was just plain bad. I'm just pleading that this show that I absolutely adore won't kamikaze itself in the home stretch.

Agh. No version of "Hated by Life Itself" comes even close to comparing to Mafumafu's, honestly. But it's not on Spotify </3
