For New York, it isn't uncommon that it's always hot but for a few days into summer the heat had gotten to most of the tower.

The boys of the team always were shirtless or wearing tank tops while wearing shorts or just their boxers meanwhile, Loki was always wearing his natural Asgardian outfit or suits.

"Babe, are you do not hot in that outfit?" You asked after a bit turning to him while you were using a hand fan to cool down.

"That's a first darling you always say I am hot or sexy" he replied putting his book down onto his lap and looked at you with a smirk then winked at you.

"You knew what I meant" I frowned a bit annoyed but blushed as you looked him over trying to figure out if it was an illusion or not.

"Take a picture baby it will last longer or would rather go to our room and get a better look" Loki smirked with a wink causing you to turn away blushing slightly.

"She's gotta point Loki are you not roasting in the suit?" Bucky asked looking at him.

"No, I'm perfectly fine like it's any concern of yours" he shrugged going back to his book ruining the fun you two were just having but you still watched him wearily.

"What's your secret? Do you have ice cubes stashed somewhere?" Tony chuckled lightly.

"No, I don't I'm perfectly fine and cool" he replied shaking his head as he tries to ignore them who kept thinking of theories and him not responding to any of them unless they were yours

An hour passed.

The boys and the 2 girls all went downstairs to one of Tony's pools to cool down while you stayed upstairs to keep Loki company but on the odd occasion you kept looking over at Loki mainly wanting to cuddle with him, but it was too hot.

"Loki..." you spoke after a bit in a slight whining tone cause of what you wanted but knew it would make you hotter due to the combined body heat.

"Yes, princess?" He spoke not looking up from his book but since you didn't reply to him since you wanted him to look at you, but he sighed and looked up to you who was staring back at him with begging puppy dog eyes.

"You can come and cuddle it won't disturb my reading you've done it plenty of times before" he chuckled amused as opened his arm out for you to sit next to him.

"I know but it will be too hot" you whined.

"It won't be trust me" he hummed.

After a little bit of a mental debate, you did so but instead of curling into his side you straddled his hips since you always found it more comfortable that way and curled into his neck but pulled back instantly at the cold touch which you regretted instantly since the cold only lasted a few seconds.

"How..." you whispered confused looking him over before meeting his eyes

"How what princess?" He chuckled amused "how am I cold? Or how am I not sweating?" He added amused.

"But it's like 40°C in and outside" you muttered as you rested your hands on his chest.

"Don't question it baby girl but if you tell the boys this perk is off-limits for the whole of summer" he whispered as he set his book to the side, and you slowly nodded while he slipped his hands under your shirt causing you to groan at the cold feeling.

"How are you so cold?" I asked tilting my head slightly confused.

"I will show you, but you promise not to freak out?" He spoke softly which you nodded.

"I promise babe" I said softly kissing him sweetly.

"Ok well I'm going to the kitchen to grab a few things while you wait in our room" he spoke as you slowly got off his lap and he went to the kitchen while you went to your room and sat on the bed.

Loki debated on this before grabbing a glass of ice and headed back to the bedroom.

"Why do you have a glass of ice your cold enough" I joked causing him to laugh.

"Yeah, but this shows off my perk" he spoke amused as he stripped so he was just in his boxers.

"Loki I'm not in..." you spoke out but trails off as you watched him grab an icecube and pressed it to his skin which slowly turned blue.

"I trust and love you enough to show you this side of me" he spoke softly and quietly as he moved the ice cube around but kept using multiple ones since the others kept melting around his chest to make the process quicker.

Once he turned into a full juton mode you slowly stood up "can I?" You asked quietly as you slowly raised your hand and he slowly nodded watching you trace the lines on his chest.

"Is this why your never bothered by the heat?" You muttered to yourself intrigued by the form.

"Yeah, my body is naturally cold, so it doesn't bother me" he chuckled "does this not scare you?" He added after a bit.

"Not really I find it fascinating" I whispered looking up at him "the horns are a bit much but other than that no you don't scare me" I added softly.

"The horns have to stay unfortunately" he laughed feeling a bit more relaxed about it.

"Pity they ruin the look" I spoke amused before moving to rest a hand on his cheek "I'm glad you trust me enough to show me" I said softly.

"I'm happy that you don't think of me as a monster like everyone else" he whispered softly as he leaned into your hand and kissed it softly.

"A monster no and personal icecube maybe" I teased softly.

"An ice cube?" He asked confused "I'm a juton how dare you relate me to a piece of frozen water" he said in fake annoyance before chuckling amused.

"Yeah, cause your cold and I need to stay cool soooo icecube and I will use the proper name if you wish your highness" you chuckled amused but smirked playfully up at him.

"Well, it's better than monster I guess" he chuckled as the blue started to fade due to how hot the room is.

"Aw it doesn't stay" I frowned moving my hand from his cheek to watch it fade.

"Not in this heat sadly" he chuckled amused before pulling you close and kissed you lovingly.

A few hours later

You somehow persuaded Loki to where something that looked somewhat like a summer outfit, so he opted with green swim shorts and no shirt.

While he was reading you were curled into him with your arms around his neck while his arm around your waist holding you close occasionally rubbing small circles on your back

A small while passed and the team came back into the room mainly to check up on Loki to see if he was up to anything but was shocked to see him changed into something different.

"What did you bribe him with?" Tony was confused since they had been trying for the past few days to make Loki not wear thick clothes.

"If I tell you then I would have to kill you and I rather not do that" you replied pulling away slightly to look at them while Loki smirked while not taking his eyes off his book.

"But how!?" Tony asked again but you ignored him and snuggled back into Loki smirking slightly.

"Icecube" you whispered into Loki necks causing him to pull you closer.

"Yes, your own personal juton prince icecube" he whispered pressing a soft kiss to your forehead which caused you to chuckle into his neck.

"Yes, but you're my hot juton prince icecube" you added amused leaving a few soft kisses on his neck.
