You had been with the team while they all met up in the CIA building and you befriended everyone, but you never really told them your gift of mindreading like Charles which is why you got along with him so well since he knew but you got along with Erik but only with certain things while also having the gift of teleportation, but he trained you in a way to collect items from other rooms for advantage

It was a week into the mansion living everyone had created a routine between relaxing and training and around this time everyone was doing their own thing so while you and Erik were in the library playing chess and Charles was in the library reading his book and not reading anyone's mind but yours since you two were dating and he didn't trust you around Erik

Ok since your just playing chess I don't want to hear a single word from you got it. I'm finally getting comfortable on the couch Charles thought as he finally got comfortable reading his book once he saw nothing was going on between you both as well as the rest of the team

Biblioklept you thought after a bit making you grin, and Erik chuckled knowing you just did something to piss off Charles since you two haven't said a word to each other and both didn't need two since you both had that comfortable environment together

I said no words what did you not understand? Charles replied as he shook his head in disapproval as he flipped the page in his book

Oh, so now it's a word but when we were playing scrabble the other week you said it wasn't a word but it's now a word because it is convenient for you I see how it is you replied back with a chuckle as you told Erik what was happening, and he started laughing about it

If you can give me a description of what the word means ill forget about it and make you something as an apology Charles replied as he was smirking to himself as he assumed you didn't know what it was and had to look it up

But as you looked at Erik he knew what was about to go down and smirked as he sat back in his seat knowing that something might happen as you did the same but held out your hand and held the book Charles just had in his hand

Biblioklept is a person who steals books beloved, and I believe I just stole your book on 'The book of unusual knowledge?' you thought back amusing at first but turned confusing as you looked at the book in your hands as you read the title back to him

Yes and can I have it back please? Charles replied back with thinking you had something wrong with the choice of books he was reading but gave him it back confused but didn't reply to him but after a few moments you did

So? You replied wanting him to continue as you and Erik finished your game of chess before starting a new one with a small hum

So what? He replied confused as if he didn't understand what you wanted him to reply with

So, what are you going to make me as an apology? because I could really go for cupcakes and waffles right now you replied back as you hear him mentally sigh you said you would make me something and I want that oooooh and brownies I like the ones you make

Fine only because I love you he replied as got up and went to the kitchen and started making you some food since he did say he would make you something for an apology

After 30 minutes Alex and Sean came into the room looking confused just as you and Erik finished your 4th game of chess and you both looked at them you giving them a small smile while Erik just gave them a straight face but I his mind he chuckled amused

"Um do you guys know why Charles is in the kitchen making food?" Alex asked as Erik chuckled slightly

"That's on me but don't worry I'll share with you guys" you smiled softly with a small head tilt making you look more innocent

"and how did you make him do that?" Sean asked even more confused as you started to explain the situation making them chuckle a bit at how slightly whipped Charles is for you and no one else since raven asked him to make her some cookies and he flat out refused but not long after she asked you to ask him for some cupcakes, and he made them for you without hesitation

After a few moments Erik wanted to go and have a small rest, so you and the boys said goodbye to him as he left, and you did the same to Alex and Sean before they left to go back to their own thing, but you went to the kitchen to see Charles

"Aww you got a cute apron on too" you teased as you sat at the island while Charles was mixing some batter most likely for the brownies as he turned to you

"I don't want my shirt to get dirty that's why" he replied calmly but his look was unamused

"Well obviously that's why you wear one" you chuckled amused before getting up and went to peck his cheek softly making his unamused look turn happy with a blush on his face before sitting back down and watched him while having small conversations with him as if this was a normal thing he does

After 2o minutes he was done with making the brownies and cookies, but he made you a plate and a bit of waffles but when his back was turned you poofed some to the boys and raven while you looked away innocently but when you turned back him he was leaning against the bench and watched you amused

"Where are you taking the food I give you?" he asked seriously but his mind was grinning and chuckling at how childish you were being

"I don't know if you want me to give you a right or wrong answer" you replied back with a small grin as you got closer to him to where your noses were almost touching

"I would prefer the right answer darling" he replied as his eyes flicked between your lips and your eyes in an almost dream state

"Well, the right answer is Sean, Alex and raven" you replied as he raised a brow as to why "well for starters when you bake it's amazing, but you only make them when I ask not them, so I was letting them try your baking" you added smiling innocently

"I will make it when they ask" he shot back but didn't move away from you as he gave you a confused look

"You don't because a week ago raven asked you to make her cookies and you flat out refused I know because you were with me playing chess but when I asked an hour later for French toast you made it for me without a second thought" you replied back with a chuckle

"Ok fine I don't but if you wanted me to make some for them you could've just asked I don't mind" he chuckled with his cute smile but after a few moments he leaned in and kissed you sweetly which turned into a small makeout session before you pulled away after a bit and pecked his nose softly

After a few moments he pulled away and went back making you your portion of waffles and watched you start eating them and looked confused

"None for Erik?" he asked tilting his head a bit

"He's having a nap, so he won't be eating" you replied making him nod in understanding before going back to cleaning up but just as he was done Alex and Sean came into the kitchen and stood behind you pouting in a pleading manner as they held their plates making you laugh but you covered your hand since it was full

"You want more don't you?" Charles asked as he held the batter for the waffles in his hands since he was about to put it in the fridge, and they shyly nodded thinking that if they were behind you they would be allowed so you gave him a look and he sighed amused setting it back down and made some more for them while also making a plate for Erik and Hank before putting it in the microwave

When the brownies and cupcakes were made, and they were designed everyone had some since he made a lot and kept some back for the other 3 before going back to his book in the library and not long after you joined him with a cupcake that you had designed which was your own X-MEN logo as a joke

"Since you deserve it for a being the best boyfriend and professor" you smiled as you set it on the side table before cuddling up with him as he read his book and soon fell asleep on his which he didn't mind
