Imagine Bucky is away on a mission and comes back to you cuddling a bear replica to him

Everyone that may or may have not died in the movies since I've only got to a certain point in the movie series are still alive and you can't tell me otherwise

After a few years of Bucky joining the team and gotten used to everyone you were the only one who broke his shell and made him a kind person but he only shows that to you and Steve collectively but you didn't mind he was his friend after all

But for the past month he had been doing a mission for Fury and he hadn't been back yet and you were getting worried so to try and conceal your worry you grabbed Tony's card and phoned Build-a-Bear to get you to make a Bucky bear for you but while you had his card you decided to order for the rest of the team as well so they had a personal bear of their own

So, when you emailed them the pictures of the team in their costume and casual clothes as well as one for you but you didn't have costume while also paying for a second lot so you had a private collection for your own and they got started it for you

A few days later the bears came and you kept yours and the outfits to go with them while you gave everyone else theirs which they were grateful for but after giving them the bears besides Steve's of course you went back to your shared room with Bucky you put the bears on the desk Bucky had for the time being

When you held Bucky's you looked at it for a while before deciding to get into some lounge clothes which consisted of Bucky's favorite shirt and no pants and got into bed and slept while holding the bear

A few hours had passed and the boys came back from their mission but they both went to their own rooms after debriefing with Fury and finishing off the reports despite people already doing most of it for them but Fury thought the team was being lazy so they had to take part in the writing or typing process

When he eventually got to the tower and got into his room and threw his bag onto the floor against his desk and stretched making his back crack slightly and when he looked at his bed his saw you laying on it making him smile slightly as he started to get quiet

As he watched you for a bit not noticing the bear yet he went to kiss the top of your head softly before heading to the shower and when he was done he got changed into a pair of underwear since he knew he wasn't going to be leaving the bed soon

He moved to lie next to you and pull you close but got stopped by something so he went to grab the object and saw the bear

"no...its mine..." you whined tiredly as you went to grab it but got stopped by something hard so you lazily opened your eyes and saw Bucky next to you "never mind you can keep it" you added as you wrapped your arms around Bucky and tried to get back to sleep

"missed you too princess" he smiled as he his heart warmed as he saw himself as a bear in his hands which you were cuddling into while you slept but you just hummed in response as you curled into him so more

When Bucky got comfortable in bed while you were hugging him he started to doze off but decided to lock his bedroom door before pulled the covers over you both then dozing off with you in his arms while the bear sat on the unoccupied part of the bed

In the morning Bucky woke up to you still asleep in his arms making him smile as he kissed the top of your head softly and found the rest of the bears on his desk making him chuckle amused before inspecting his which was dressed in his WW2 outfit making him grin at the outfit

Meanwhile Steve had gotten up roughly the same time and was dressed and ready to go on the morning run despite the grueling mission he was just on but when he went to go get Bucky the door wouldn't open to his room which confused him more

"Bucky said he's not leaving his room for a bit but there is a present for you in the training room she thought it would be better there because she knew you would find it there" Natasha spoke out as she passed Steve

"oh...thank you" he spoke out confused in both for Bucky and the gift so he left and went to the training room and found a patriotic box so he went to open it and saw his bear as well as outfits he would wear as well making him chuckle as he took it back to his room and set it on his shelf before going on the run by himself
