When Tim was still with his wife, he had a child that people didn't know about except Lopez and Harper till today when he had to bring his 16yr old in to work for the day of

You were a good kid, you never got into trouble at school and always kept your grades up but the only time you were bad was when it was April fool's Day and luckily for you Tim didn't realise what day it was.

When they got into the station you sat at Tim's desk once he led you to it and started swivelling in his chair slightly

"Stay here I won't be long, ok?" Tim said sternly as he stopped the chair so that you could look at him, so you nodded with a small innocent smile.

"Ok I'll just stay here and wait for you" I smile softly causing him to nod and headed to the locker rooms while you started to swivel in his chair again humming while also plotting.

After a while all the rookies and their training officers came in some with their children so when you saw Chen you got up and walked over

"Hey, your officer Chen, right?" I asked softly with a small smile.

"Yes, that's me how can I help you?" She replied with a smile after looking at John and Jackson before back at you.

"Can you show me where my da.... I mean officer Bradford's car is?" I asked with a bright smile hesitating a bit on what to call him.

"Uh...I don't think I can do that..." She said a bit unsure standing up straight while still looking at her friends.

"You don't need to tell me where just a nudge in the direction or something I don't have much time please..." You spoke out quickly.

"No no you can do that but make sure she's not there longer then 10 minutes" Lopez spoke out stopping Lucy before she spoke again but before she told me where the car is Bradford came back.

"Leave the boot alone and sit in your seat we have morning roll call then we head out" Bradford spoke out as he walked out in his suit and looked at you.

"It's officer Chen but fine..." I pouted knowing that my time ran out sulking back to the seat.

"It's boot to me and it's what I will call her now sit and wait" he said pointing to his office chair while you rolled your eyes and sat down.

The 3 rookies looked at each other before heading inside while Lopez motioned the directions to take when Bradford wasn't looking causing me to smirk and she did too so when they were all occupied you went to his shop and started to mess with it slightly then went back to the chair without him knowing and once you sat back in your seat which swivelled slightly but played it off as if you had done it naturally.

"Come on we have to go" your dad spoke as they left the room and went to go get the prep for the day then headed to the car for their patrol while Lopez and Harper followed us along with Jackson and John who was confused on why they weren't getting their equipment and plus a few more cops and just watched the scene unfold as Lopez pulled Chen back a bit by her belt with one hand while the other was recording on her phone

Before Bradford could realise what was happening, he already opened the door to his car and got a face full of blue chalk powder causing everyone to laugh while Chen put a hand on her mouth trying not to

"You're so dead" Bradford glared at you, but you took it as a challenge and so did he.

"Well, you always say we have to be more aware of our surroundings, but you never take in your own advice" you smirked back watching him leave to go get cleaned up while everyone else laughed or chuckled their way back to work.

"He will be fine" I chuckled up at Chen who was putting the stuff away and went to clean it up, but you stopped her and did it yourself since you're the one who set it up.

"You shouldn't be so hard on him" she replied amused.

"Nah it's fine we both well I knew what day it was, but we always take it as a game like when you have the one here for my parents" I chuckled.

"Yeah, those days are quite fun but my TO takes it a bit too far" Chen laughed as she helped me put the paper towels in the bin and put away the cleaning supplies.

"Me and my dad's thing is April fools since we always like to pull pranks on each other but that's normally on our days off" you added after a bit smirking as he came back to the car the same time as us "but that's rare in his case" I added amused.

"Get in the back were going" Bradford spoke annoyed getting in and we did the same humming amused before driving off to the road for their patrol.

"Someone's a sore loser" I smirked amused playing with my jackets zipper before moving to look out the window innocently.

"I just didn't know when the game was going to start" he shot back defensively looking into the back seat.

"In your defensive you weren't ready for its officer Bradford" Harper spoke through the radio which made her laugh as you looked forward.

"Did you guys see his face though? The whole how could this happen to me look was priceless" Lopez added causing everyone but Tim to laugh.

"That's it I'm changing channels" Tim said annoyed as he changed the channel.

"Spoil sport" I added amused watching him before looking outside the window again.

A few hours later

You both got back to the precinct to collar someone, so you stayed back and watched them work humming softly while leaning against the wall watching Chen.

Meanwhile after Bradford processed someone, he went to get you some snacks and a drink but shook it up.

When he came back, he gave one to you and the other to Chen, but you knew what he did so you left saying something about wanting to ask Harper something and went to John instead and luckily Jackson was with them since they were both waiting on their TO's.

"Hi John, do you wanna drink?" I asked softly holding the can out for him.

"Did you do something to it?" Jackson asked watching the can with suspicious intent.

"No, I would never and besides Officer Bradford is my target for the day you guys will be unharmed for the forceable future" you smiled innocently as you looked up at them both.

"Ok well in that case thank you" John smiled as he took the can off you and that made Jackson take a step back and so did you subconsciously watching someone else do it so when it went off it only went on John and no spray went on us.

"You can blame Bradford for that cause he wanted me to have it" I chuckled slightly before getting him some paper towels and cleaned him up while I took the drink off him and cleaned that before putting it down.

"So does that mean I can get him back?" John asked after a bit.

"If you're brave enough yes you can" I smirked mischievously up at him before helping him, get cleaned up.

"That wasn't meant for him it was meant for you" Tim spoke out annoyed walking over to us with Chen, Lopez and Harper in tow.

"You've got to get better then that it was predicted" I chuckled turning to your dad for a bit before back to John.

"She's got a point it was expected" Jackson added amused "even I would've seen that one coming" he added but slowly looked down when he saw the annoyed look on Bradford's face.

"Get creative I did" I smirked looking up at him "then again I did take your idea from you when you pranked Chen on her first short sleeves day but meh" I thought aloud as I moved to sit at a random desk before looking at him amused while he scrunched his face annoyed before walking away to the processing room with Chen following him after a bit.

At the end of the day

When the day was coming to an end only a few officers were around for the night shift while the others were getting dressed to leave.

So, while all the girls were all dressed up to go for drinks, but you were only drinking fizzy pop we headed out but when Chen opened the door since she was ahead of up 2 buckets of water fell on all of us causing some to scream.

"What the hell!" You yelled annoyed while the others were frozen but, in the distance, you heard your dad and a few others laughing manically.

"You guys are so dead" Lopez glared at Bradford knowing he was the one me who did this, if looks could kill, he would be dead by now.

"I had no part in this" Nolan spoke out before backing up and walking away while one hand was clutching his bag in fear while the other was motioning his thumb in the direction he was leaving in and after a few moments West left with Nolan.

After a few moments you all left to get warmed up and put their spare clothes in the one dryer that they had in the locker rooms before taking a hot shower.

By the time they were done the clothes were dry, but you already had spare clothes in case this happened, so you didn't mind damp clothes in the spare bag you had just in case and went out for drinks when everyone was ready.

An hour later

You and Bradford went home and started have a small debate on who won today but we all know that it was a fair battle but to end off the night you threw a flour balloon when he got out of the shower while recording his reaction and sent it to the team who all texted him saying I won.
