Before the world was created and humans started existing Morpheus and his family were created and told their jobs for the future

Morpheus and his sister Y/N were born to be the dream and nightmares for the humans and a few hundred years passed and death came into play and so on

Every so often our parents made one day where they all went out as a family in the reality thinking it would help us bond and to get along but in reality, everyone else bonded while you and Morpheus watched from the side-lines in disappointment if you weren't distracted by other things.

They weren't 10 minutes into their walk along the garden and despair somehow managed to get her grey clothes dirty as well as desires causing Morpheus to sigh and shake his head in disapproval.

"What's the matter Morphy?" You asked looking up from your book of dreams that you wrote or drew in every so often from what you see in people's dreaming or nightmares.

"Why can't they just keep clean I mean it's not that hard" he complained slightly ignoring the name since he only allowed you to call him that.

"Maybe they just wanna see what mother would say when they get home" I chuckled a bit as you placed your book in your bag and looked up at him softly.

"But it's unsanitary" he added turning to you while using his hand to motion to the other siblings who were just starting to pick up stuff from the ground.

"You are joining us brother?" Death asked turning to him while holding some picked flowers for mom that were already starting to wilt from her power.

"No thank you I'm fine" he replied politely declining her offer while you walked over to her making him shocked.

"At least the eldest sister is willing to get muddy" Death teased as she stuck out her tongue at him but once you took the flowers off her she looked confused as you poofed up some paper to make it look pretty and walked back to Morpheus causing Death to shake her head, but you smiled at the life being brought back to them when you walked back.

"I wasn't going to let them die and have her cry when she hands mom wilted flowers" you explained looking up at him innocently which made him nod in understanding and continued to walk while you simply added her flowers when she picked them up.

After a while they continued down the path you and Morpheus sat down on a bench to admire the peace but as you looked around you had found a black rose bush, so you smiled and got up to pluck off one and cleaned it up slightly, so it didn't ruin his clothes before slipping it on his lapel.

"Suits you" I chuckled softly fixing his jacket a bit before relaxing next to him again.

"Thank you, sister," he replied with a faint smile as he looked at it in adoration before sighing as he saw fate and destiny get dirty even though they were more clean freaks then you two put together "unbelievable" he muttered making you chuckle as you watched them amused.

"It will be fine" you chuckled resting a hand on his arm sympathetically while he sighed in return.

"I just hope they can get the mud out of their clothes" he added quietly as you both watched them with you humming slightly
