Imagine dating Rube and his reapers but only he knew that you were alive and immortal.

When Rube died in 1926, he had been reaping souls for death for a long time meeting new reapers and helping the dead go to where they class as their afterlife whether it would be to heaven or to hell.

You on the other hand was the sister to Dorian grey who both suffered the case of immortality within 2 different paintings made by the same person was cursed a few days after Rube's death had occurred.

After about 30 years they had met at the café Rube always went to but as he was giving a reaper a lecture on moral rights for his job you were serving him and acted like nothing happened as went on with your shift, but he talked to you when they were all gone, and you both hit it off quite well.

Death made a rule to say that reapers can't date the living seeing as they are undead but made an exception for you since you were immortal for as long as the painting kept you alive for

Present day

You were a waitress and an occasional chef when they main one wasn't in to fill at Der Waffle House Rube always came in early just to talk to you, but little did, he know that there was one of his reapers watching him before the rest came in.

"He bollocks us for dating the living but he can date them but not us" Mason spoke quietly to Georgia and Daisy when they came in.

"Maybe he's trying to order something leave him alone" Georgia scoffed as she walked to the booth and slid into it next to Rube since you were sitting on the opposite side making your conversation to stop after a few moments and asked for her order when you stood back up.

"Eggs and bacon but make it extra crispy and a glass of orange juice" Georgia spoke as you wrote it down before leaving to the kitchen and went to serve other people while the others joined him.

"So, when were you allowed to date the living?" Mason asked leaning over the table to Rube when I was far enough away.

"Not dating and she's not exactly alive" he muttered as he opened his ledger for the post it's and set them around the right people.

"So, she's like us cool" Georgia spoke as she read her post it.

"Not like us peanut she can't reap but she can know our business" he replied closing the ledger after getting Roxy's out and stuck it to the table.

"She can't reap but she's not really alive It still seems like she's part of us just not allowed to do her job" Daisy replied playing with her post it slightly.

"Causes she's not a reaper" Rube sighed as he turned to look at her.

"I'm immortal" you spoke out amused as you set the breakfasts down then pulled out your notepad to take their orders.

"I've never had an immortal care to let me have a go" Mason flirted with a smirk as he looked you over while Rube glared at him.

"Sorry we don't do immortals, but I can get you something that's actually on the menu" you hummed looking at him with a small smirk.

"I'll have a bowl of fruit please with an orange juice" Daisy hummed looking up at you while you wrote it down.

"Anything for you mason?" You asked humming a bit looking at you.

"Nothing for me thanks" he sighed as I nodded and went to put it up humming as I grabbed the coffee pot and went around to fill up people's coffees.

"So, someone being immortal gets you a free pass to date people...I mean she is out of your league" daisy muttered as she looked up at him with her usual stuck up look while he retaliated with giving her a 'are your serious look'.

"I mean come on with the people I have been with compared to you she would be better fitted with them" she added as you set her bowl of fruit down.

"Anyone can be anyone's type if they are fit or not for both sides of the spectrum just cause your point of view doesn't see it does not mean that it won't work out" you added looking at her with slight glare "cause last time I checked you did unspeakable things to multiple boys throughout your undead life and your judging someone else for their possible relationship that's so unlike you daisy" you tutted before walking away while Rube and Georgia had a slight smug look on their face

"Feisty are you sure I can't have her for an hour or two?" Mason smirked as he watched you before turning to him again with a slight puppy dog face.

"No because she won't touch you for the simple reason is that she doesn't date alcoholics and or drug addicts" Rube muttered as he went back to his newspaper.

Once they all left and Roxy came to collect her post it with a coffee to go you smiled and finished your work since it was only a half day for you and sat next to Rube

"Someone got jealous" you chuckled as you stole a piece of bacon that he left for me.

"I didn't get jealous" he denied as he read his newspaper with a slight flick as if to straighten it when if flipped over.

"The glare you sent him says another" you smirked with a small chuckle.

"Says you with the whole jab to daisy's lifestyle I think you were more jealous than I was" he smirked looking at you.

"I wasn't just stating a fact that's all because I may have been from a stuck-up family doesn't mean I can't teach other posh asses a lesson" I chuckled amused "but don't worry baby I'm still yours forever" you added after a few moments patting his leg slightly.

"I know darling" he smiled softly but when you looked straight forward since you were watching something outside, he moved and pecked your cheek causing you to blush and look down trying to hide it

I'm sorry this was kind of crap I love this show, but you can hardly get it out anywhere I DVD, so I tried to do a story on it heh.
