Imagine spending time with Jonathon/Scarecrow while he is planning and currently having world domination

For the sake of the story, he can take the mask off and it's not prosthetically made into his face as the lore and looks states he did so

You and Jonathon had been dating for 4 years now and you knew about his little hobby and had broken him out of Arkham legally more than once but despite all of that you still loved him and half the time he wonders why your still with him but you reassure him all the time that you want him and only him

When he does get captured by either batman or GCPD he always made sure you got away hours beforehand so that you didn't get involved or arrested either since he refused to get you a criminal record on his behalf

When he had met the Arkham Knight you were in the background messing with his toxin machines but you knew what you were doing and making sure it didn't go bad for him but as he was setting up things in Arkham but the Arkham knight got informed that you were not meant to be harmed and that you were gone by the time he was going to be captured which he understood and Jonathon was persistent he knew that information

Before gassing Gotham

6 hours before the official launch of the fear gas you were standing with a checklist in the middle of Arkham mansion making sure he had everything but the militia didn't get that memo that you weren't meant to be touched or spoken to unless you were the Knight or Scarecrow

"you can't be here so get lost and give me that" the militia commander demanded as he looked at you assuming you were a civilian for scarecrow that should've been evacuated and or disposed of and tried to grab the clipboard off of you before making you leave with a different solider

"I am meant to be here; you are a dick and fuck no" you replied as you continued to mark stuff off as things were coming through the doors knowing they would be transferred somewhere else in the Asylum

"no, you're not give me it" he claimed as he glared at you through his visor and took it off you before doing what you were doing after he turned his back to you

"bitch I did not give you fucking permission to take that off of me so give it back!" you yelled which grabbed the attention of Jonathon and Arkham who were on a higher level to you both and walked over to deal with the situation

"what's going on?" Arkham asked as he looked between the two but knew you were meant to be here but the commander explained that he was right and you were wrong which made him snatch the clipboard off him and hit him with it then gave it back to you "if you or anyone stops her work again I will make you all get the worst positions while this is going down" he ordered but was loud enough for everyone to hear it

"Yes sir!" he replied in command and so did the guys around them replied too before walking off scared since Jonathon was messing with his toxin filled syringes on his glove ready to induce fear into the guy

"dumbasses" you muttered as you went back to work after pecking Jonathon's masked cheek and went back to taking stock of what he had and reported back if he missed anything and if he didn't you went to do something else while he smirked under the mask watching you for a bit before continuing what he was talking about to Arkham like nothing happened

In the final hour of the gas release everything was set up in intensive treatment and you were walking around in your headphones that was on loud enough for you to hear it but quiet enough to hear the boys around you so you didn't seem rude if they tried to talk to you so as you, Jonathon, Arkham and his militia were walking down the hall you started humming to the song

"Crows are pulling at my clothes the wind got my fingers froze standin' all day, keepin' watch over all the treasures we've lost sometimes the jail can't chain the cell and the rains to plain to tell all alone by a barren well the scarecrow's only scaring himself" you sang as you bopped your head to the side not paying attention to them while dancing a bit in your spot since you were all waiting for the elevator to come down

Jonathon looked at you and smirked under the mask refraining from letting out a chuckle and you assumed Arkham was just rolling his eyes as they watched you but didn't tell you to stop since you were only entertaining yourself and that was a rule you could do whatever you want without questions asked unless Jonathon asked them of course

"scarecrows only scaring himself" you sang out again as you got a bit ahead of them and looked at Jonathon as you repeated it again a few times making him shake his head knowing it was amusing him but didn't stop you since he liked your singing

"why the hell is she singing in a place like this? Doesn't she know the situation were going to be in right now" a soldier spoke out as they walked and not long after a gunshot rang out making you scream slightly and jump in the direction of Jonathon then turned to see Arkham loom over the solider who made the comment about your behaviour

"anyone else want to make a comment on her behaviour?" Arkham spoke out as he looked at his soldiers and they all shook their heads quickly slowly backing away from him in fear "good" he replied as he holstered his gun and got in the elevator when it came down

After a few moments of awkward silence, you turned off your music and pulled your headphones down and didn't do anything for the rest of the time the militia was there and a bit after which Jonathon didn't like but knew that when boredom hit you again you would be back to your usual self and distracting him slightly but knew it was only to change the tune when it was boring him too

After gassing Gotham

You rarely saw Jonathon but you made sure everything was in order but changed into something more comfortable since you knew it would just be you and him while you are here so you wore a version of his scarecrow inspired onesie that you got handmade for this occasion while wearing the half face mask that he made for you to stop his toxin from effecting you like his own mask

But when he did turn up and wasn't making videos for Gotham you both chatted and got along like it was a normal run of the mill day in Gotham which you didn't mind but at one point you could tell he was getting stressed about either batman or the cloudburst

"babe..." you spoke out as you made sure everything was not recording before taking off his mask and set it to the side which made him sigh annoyed but took off his gloves so he didn't inject you with the toxin since it was the really strong stuff

"yes darling" he replied slightly annoyed but you knew he wouldn't present the anger into you since it wasn't you he was mad or stressed about

"I was wondering if you would want to take a break...since you have everything here and batman is occupied with Arkham and your toxin...as well as the other villains that are out and about" you whispered as you sat on his lap and rested your hands on his chest but made sure not to touch anything important

"you know I can't take a break...something could happen and it would need my attention" he replied motioning to Gotham on the screens behind you which you didn't turn to look at only at his ocean blue eyes that showed lack of sleep

"not even for 30 minutes..." you spoke out as you grabbed his free hand and placed it on the zipper and pulled it down slowly revealing that you had nothing on underneath even though 3 hours prior you had a shirt and shorts on underneath it

"I'll promise not to bug you anymore if you spend 30 minutes away from your work" you spoke out as you knew it would take longer but kept on with the ploy as you let go of his hand when the zipper was pulled down enough while looking at him innocently

As you watched him you knew he was fighting the urge to leave his work and spend time with you but he kept raking his eyes over your body while his hand slipped into your onesie and rested it on your hip while you felt him get hard through his scarecrow attire

After a few moments you got up from the chair and walked away to the little bedroom area he had made for you in Sharp's old office since he didn't want you to go all through this without sleep while he suffered the insomnia you knew he had

When you got to the room you didn't have time to change into something else when he came in with his suit in hand and set it down softly on the floor not to break anything and looked at you

"fuck 30 minutes yeah?" he spoke out as he picked you up and stripped you of your onesie while you did the same with his boxers before letting out all the anger and stress out onto you which you didn't mind

After an hour and a half later, you felt Jonathan shift next to you since you had been sleeping and resting next to him after what was supposed to be a quickie turned into you both coming 4 times ignoring the 20 calls from Arkham in that time

"oh well it was more than 30 but you deserved it after your success" you teased as you leaned up and kissed his cheek softly making him chuckle as he kissed you lovingly for a few moments but you made it deeper as you pulled him closer

"you'll be the death of me someday" he murmured teasingly against your lips as he held you close for a few moments before getting up off of the bed and stretched a bit making bite your lip as you admire his naked body

"hopefully not soon I would hate for this night to end" you smirked before you curled into to one of his pillows before moving to get up with him and cleaned yourself before getting dressed

"same princess" he smirked as he cleaned himself up with a wet washcloth before getting dressed in his outfit minus the gloves and mask and kissed you softly which again you kept longer before he pulled away with a smirk and leaving back to his little station

An hour before batman was meant to come to Arkham and Jonathon was trying his hardest to get you to leave you wouldn't let up as you were ordering a group of militia soldiers to grab the boxes of his paperwork and such in a van as well as 4 large canisters of his current fear toxin into a van

"Jonny its fine I'll be leaving soon and I will be safe trust me" you spoke out as you lifted his mask up enough to kiss him softly

"I know you'll be safe I ensure you will be" he spoke out as he watched you intently

"yes I know but I need to know all your stuff is secure as well so that way if you do get caught or sent to GCPD or whatever you can pick this up again" you replied with a smile before going back to what you were doing which he decided to help you with after much thought knowing you were only doing this for him

After he got captured and is in the GCPD holding cell

You walked around the house you and Jonathon got filled with all of his work stuff that was safely and neatly placed in the basement for when he returned to you

You can spend time without Jonathon you've done it before but as you walked around for a few weeks trying to cope with not seeing him for a while you couldn't handle it so you went downstairs with your mask on and looked around for a bit before finding some toxin bombs

"you owe me so many things Jonathon" you muttered as you grabbed his Arkham asylum outfit and put it on before grabbing the fastest car he had and went to GCPD and raided it till you got to holding and bombed more of the place till you got him out and in the car

You took Riddler with you since out of everyone in that cell you liked as well but didn't want him to suffer since he was harmless in your eyes and headed back to a different safehouse he owned and took care of him and Edward

When he came to he gave you a lecture which you expected but after a bit he held you close and decided to forget about it for a while trying to get sane for you but you knew deep down he was working on a new toxin and you didn't want it any other way while you were helping Edward with riddles and new trophy designs
