Sherlock and John had been doing cases which isn't unusual for them both but when they went to interview the suspect for clues

"So have you spoken to her before?" Sherlock asked as he was heading to the interrogation room but before he could speak to them, or they could respond the girl screamed

"Ok get him out" Greg spoke out as he pushed Sherlock and John out the room both shock evident on their faces so as he was in shock he sent you a text.

Bit of trouble
Come to the police station

Sherlock what did you do now? I thought you had some form of lift to get back

I'm busy as well ya know with my work that you are bringing so much of a hardship to get done

Just come to the police station

As you read the text you sighed and went to the police station and explained to the idiot police where he was, and they didn't believe him despite them being shocked since they never met you even though they have met every one of his 'friends' but you never told them who you were

"How about this? You set up a camera in the living room but don't tell us where and he lives on house arrest for a week and if you find nothing and or the kidnappings keep happening you let him go?" You spoke out after a bit while Sherlock stood behind you in a protective manner

"Fine we will do that but if he leaves at any point, you both will be going in for this" Lestrade spoke out as he pointed to the both of them even if he didn't want to do that to you mainly since he didn't know who you were

"And why don't I get into the house arrest?" John asked confused looking at Lestrade as he shifted on his feet

"Because you don't live in 221B anymore" you muttered with a small sigh "you live with your current girlfriend for the past few months"

"Perfect, shall we?" Sherlock grinned as he placed a hand on our hip and led you to the elevator

"I hate you so much" you muttered so only he heard as you walked to the elevator

"I hate you too" he muttered in reply smirking knowing you meant it as something else

When they got to the flat, they set up the camera but obviously didn't tell you where and started the counter for a week so they locked the doors and Mrs Hudson wasn't allowed to open them unless it was food from the shops but even then, the police would check it before it got to the flat door

Day 1 (Monday) started at 1:30am

You and Sherlock were sitting down calmly with him on his chair and you on the couch talking about the case while typing it up, but you were both looking for the camera since it had to be somewhere, but you only looked when your eyes weren't on the screen

"Found it" you muttered as you looked at the skull in the middle of the room above the table before you moved to sit in front of Sherlock who nodded with a small sigh before continuing

"Right well this is going to get boring very quick" he sighed as he got up and went to do some science while you grabbed your laptop from the couch since you didn't move it with you when you sat in front of Sherlock and worked

After an hour you and Sherlock went to bed since you were both tired and he claims that he gets a better sleep when your nearby, but you didn't question it at first till you admitted that you started to feel the same way about it too

When daybreak came you decided to do puzzles with Sherlock which went surprisingly calm since the last puzzle he try to do with John ended in an argument and the puzzle hadn't even been started yet

"I have asked John to bring some impossible puzzles over and see how long we can get that done" you smiled as you were halfway through a summer cottage puzzle you had in the flat but never got round to do due to work

"they say impossible, but it can be done" he muttered as he looked at the puzzle for a bit but also was proofreading your book, so it didn't look too bad before publishing

"true but you are Sherlock" you teased sipping on your tea humming while he smirked in appreciation of his smarts

2 hours later John had come to the flat with a few bags that contained some puzzles as well as some stuff to keep them in pristine condition instead of taking it apart again making you chuckle as you pulled one out and it was the solar system

"now we can solve how the earth goes around the sun" you joked as you turned to Sherlock, but he got up from his chair and grabbed the puzzle from your hands softly before throwing it down the first set of stairs forcefully not caring if the box got damaged

"no, we will not" he replied before moving to sit down back in his chair unfazed about what he just did

"ok then" you laughed at his reaction and so did John but only lightly

"I figured that, so I got a geometric rainbow, an optical illusion, a few skull ones and a library one for you Y/N" he spoke out as he set the bags down on the table by the couch before being ushered out by the cops since they thought he would try and help Sherlock do something with the current case that was ongoing but he came back and slid the planet puzzle back into the flat making you chuckle

"we're not doing that puzzle" he replied making you laugh more as you picked it up and set it on the table

"and we don't have to it's just something he brought over" you replied with a smile as you walked over and kissed his head softly before continuing the one that was on the table before carefully moving it to one of the boards John brought before starting another one

Day 2 (Tuesday) started at 10am

You and sherlock got up late but it didn't matter since you weren't going anywhere so you went online for some shopping but noticed you had a small fridge and most of it was covered in human cadavers

"Sherlock we are ordering a bigger fridge then I'm going to do some shopping got it?" you demanded making him nod in reply as he was picking up his violin which probably would've confused the police watching this since Sherlock doesn't like being ordered around but was fine with you doing it

"make sure its black" he replied as you nodded as you went onto Currys and ordered a double black fridge with an ice dispenser for you mainly than him but was big enough for his cadavers and your daily shop

"ok that would be delivered in two hours, but I'll keep checking in just in case its coming earlier or later before starting to" you spoke out before he nodded in reply before getting up and making a list for the shopping while asking Sherlock if he needed anything specific

"oh, and don't forget tea John forgot it on the last run" Sherlock replied making you chuckle

"ok what ones would you like Sher?" you asked as you turned to face him as you leaned against the table

"earl grey, camomile, PG Tips and some green and black tea then whatever you want" he listed making you chuckle as you wrote it down and after you did that, you started on the washing humming a small tune as you did so despite the violin being played in the background

3 hours had passed, and the fridge came, and you sold the other one with Mrs Hudson's permission and got it fitted it which was just in time with John bringing in the shopping which you helped with since it was a lot

"thanks for the help sherlock" you shot back annoyed making him grin for a bit before helping out by taking your bags off you and not John before he set them on the uncluttered kitchen table

"finally got a new fridge" John chuckled while Sherlock pointed to you with his bow who had a happy grin on your face making him laugh more but just as he was going to help put them in the fridge the police ushered him out like yesterday

"sorry John but I'll keep you updated" you chuckled as you started putting things away while John said his goodbyes and walked out without hassle

"he likes you, you know" Sherlock spoke out humming "despite being with Sarah or whatever her name is now" he added with a small shrug

"yeah, so do Donaven, Anderson, Greg and your brother but heyo" you replied not fazed by the information and neither was he apparently since you only met them when you went to go collect Sherlock from the station but just from their looks alone told you that they fell in love with your looks but Mycroft likes you for your looks and for the fact you have great power in your leadership skills

"yeah, because Donaven and Anderson are so your type" he replied in a bored tone

"sorry I only date 6ft tall men with curly hair is a downright rude person but his detective skills are on par" you joked as you turned to him with a small grin before going back to the fridge

"and I don't see you complaining either" he spoke out after he walked over to you and whispered into your ear softly before pressing a soft kiss to your cheek knowing this was the blind spot to the camera

Day 3 (Wednesday) started at 9am

"Sherlock can I please just walk around in your purple shirt?" you asked him as you buttoned it up while he had just his grey sweatpants on

"not happening because if you had forgotten we have a camera out there" he replied before opening the door

"I'll wear shorts then" you replied pulling out some bright red short shorts from your pants drawer then put it on which got hidden immediately with his shirt causing him to sigh and just accept the fact that at least your underwear was covered

"fine but no teasing with it you know I like you when you wear my suit shirts" he replied before heading out of the bedroom "especially the purple one" he called out before opening the door to the main room

After 20 minutes you came out the room blasting music and started dancing around the flat amused while Sherlock was on his couch with his hands clasped flat together under his chin "really?" Sherlock asked making you chuckle amused at his reaction as you continued while doing some simple chores like cleaning up the kitchen or the dishes

This lasted about 2 hours before Lestrade and John came over to check on Sherlock since an hour in Sherlock joined you, but they never seen him this happy unless he was on drugs so when they barged through the door you both froze for a few seconds before you started laughing your ass off

"probably for you" you spoke while laughing as you turned to look up at him

"why me?" he asked confused as he looked between you, Lestrade and John

"you're never this happy so they probably think you're on drugs" you laughed more before coughing a bit to calm yourself, but it only made it worse, so you only held a hand over your mouth to try and stop you

"we agreed you wouldn't do this anymore" John glared as he looked at Sherlock who look offended

"he's not on drugs he's just having fun showing emotion and all that" you defended with a small glare to John who now raised his hands up in defence at a pissed off you since they don't know what you're capable of

"ok well next time we will just call, ok?" Lestrade spoke out making you both nod before they both left the apartment and Sherlock turned down the music knowing they ruined the mood, and he went back to his mind palace while you were trying to think of things to do while sitting on his chair with your knees against your chest

After 30 minutes you smirked as you left to his room to grab your phone and came back setting it on the mantlepiece recording making sure it was on Sherlock who was now lying on the couch thinking so you went into the kitchen to grab a bowl of water

"if you're putting on the kettle, can you make me a cup?" he spoke out thinking you were filling up a jug of water for it

"ok" you replied as you filled the kettle up as well and set the lid back on the kettle and started it to play off as that was what you were doing but you were walking back to Sherlock and threw the bowl of water on him before laughing your ass off before running away to the bedroom

"I'm going to kill you" he replied as he got up and chased after you in the same direction but when he finally caught up to you, he held you against his chest ready to threaten you some more before you kissed him soft a first before getting a bit rougher as he moved his hands to your hips

"still want to kill me" you whispered slightly amused as he looked you over with a smirk

"no but I do have something else we could do for a substitute" he purred as he picked you up and set you on the bed "I think a punishment is in order, don't you?" he replied darkly

"no, I don't" you smirked back but he smirked back as well as you both spent several hours in that room and when you both left Sherlock and you had missed calls from John and Lestrade before replying back with a simple text

We are fine and still here seen at 1:30pm

After he sent that message he waved at the camera while you did too shyly but noticed the hickies on your neck and they soon knew why you both ignored them before they started to clean up the water mess you had left from your prank earlier

After an hour Sherlock put the news on just for background noise and you titled your head slightly at the news 'just in, a few more kids have been found missing in the area if people have more information, please let us know' he anchor spoke out from the tv

"Mmm, I guess it isn't Sherlock after all" you replied loud enough for the camera to hear you despite being close to it already

"of course it wasn't....but the police can believe what they want to believe" he was about to start listing off why it wasn't him but soon got on with what you were doing and changed his tune

"true" you replied with a small sigh before continuing the puzzle on the table

Day 4 (Thursday) around about 12pm

"Sherlock can you teach me how to play the violin?" you asked as you watched him tune his while you got yours out of the shipment box

"it's not an easy instrument to play" he spoke out watching you for a mere few seconds before back to the violin

"if I can't get it in an hour then ill not play with you until I learn it myself" you spoke out with a smile making him sigh a bit and nod not wanting to waste his precious music time but thought it would be the fine since he is teaching you and not someone else in London

Even after you said to him an hour it became 3 and he didn't mind since you were making progress after the first 1hr 30 but once you mastered it to a mediocre level, he started playing his own tunes while you did the same after looking up some online

And once mastered one you smirked a bit as you started to play the tune that was easy as it said online but added your own twist to the song

You started to sing the tune after thinking of what would go with it as you played the tune making Sherlock stop playing his to watch you confused at what you were singing

"what?" you asked with a small laugh as you set the violin down to rest on your lap

"what are you doing?" he asked more confused as he turned his whole body to you making you chuckle more at his stance

"you're the detective you tell me" you teased amused as you watched him before going back to playing while he watched you intrigued before you got a text from Lestrade making you laugh

Continue the police are liking how the song is going especially the captain

After a few moments you thought for a bit before continuing the song since they took you out of your thought process for it since you were going off on the song 'Thrift shop'

Typin' it, bloggin' it, Watson givin' me some compliments

"ok that's enough violin for you today" Sherlock spoke out as he took it off you and set it next to him making you laugh as you fell back onto the couch

"aww but it was just getting good I was going to imitate Mycroft next" you pouted with a small chuckle while he shook his head in disapproval "fine then" you replied with a fake huff which he took no notice of

Day 5 (Friday) starting at 9:30

"two more days till freedom" you spoke out as you stretched into the living room while Sherlock was reading his newspaper with a cup of tea in his hands

"yes, and I will be able to work on my cases and get some more experiments done" he spoke out looking at you for a while before back to the newspaper while taking a sip of his tea

"good" you smiled as you went to the fridge and grab a cold drink humming a small tune as you did so before going back to the living room wondering what to do today

As the day went on it got boring since all you guys did that day was either doing puzzles which John had to come over and bring some more boards over since you used the ones, he bought you guys already while Sherlock on the other hand was messing with his science experiments

Despite it being boring for you mainly than Sherlock you were both content with each other's presence to the point where you didn't need anything else, but it all got ruined when Mycroft walked through the door

"the week was fine till you turned up" Sherlock muttered from the kitchen making you chuckle

"afternoon Mycroft" you replied making him smile in response

"afternoon Y/N" he greeted you warmly with a smile blush tint to his cheeks before turning to Sherlock "Sherlock" he replied in a bored tone

"why are you here?" he asked in a non-interested tone as he continued his experiments

"I just wanted to see how Y/N was coping after dealing with just you for the 5 days that she had been forced to be locked in here" he replied with a fake smile towards Sherlock

"actually, Mycroft I suggested the house arrest so in a sense I subjected myself to being with him unless that's a problem for you?" you questioned turning to look at him with a small smirk while Sherlock hid his "because if I had to choose between the two of you, I would rather stick with him then a boring man who denies himself cake I mean who does that? Cakes are awesome" you shot back

"but they can also be a lie" Sherlock replied back casually making you chuckle at the reference which confused Mycroft since he didn't understand the reference

"true but they can also be a lie" you replied amused while Mycroft was confused but got to the topic he had before

"apologies my dear I thought he did" he replied softly but before he bowed his head Sherlock piped up

"now that you figured that out there's the door" Sherlock replied just as the police came in to take Mycroft out since they always gave John about 5 minutes to meet them to catch up but 10 minutes if they are handing stuff over like shopping and such

"that so didn't scream protectiveness did it" you spoke sarcastically but laughed a bit moving to stand at the other end of the dining table while Sherlock stood on the other side

"no clearly not" he replied back with an amused smile as he looked up to you with a small smirk before walking over to you while holding a beaker with white powder in it and kissed you softly

Day 6 (Saturday) start at 12

Despite having a slightly busy week you and Sherlock decided to have a lazy day which some would consist of you guys already having that but you both just decided to stay in bed so Sherlock texted Lestrade of where you both were as well as a picture because they didn't believe them and that was still in bed doing nothing

Sherlock was reading one of his many books that was resting on his side table, and you were still asleep next to him with your arms around his waist which he didn't mind since he was used to it when he wanted a lie in or when John made him stay in bed for medical reasons

When you finally decided to wake up you shifted against Sherlock and snuggled into him some more with a slight groan not wanting to wake up, but your body was telling you it was time to

"if you don't want to get up its fine, they know where we are" Sherlock replied casually as he moved his hand from your waist to turn a page in his book then out it back on your waist

"what time is it?" you muttered into his side while your hands clutched his shirt on the other side for a few moments before loosening your grip

"12:15" he replied after a few moments of looking at the bedside clock then back to his book, but his response made you groan even more as you tried to get some more sleep "you'll get a headache if you try to sleep some more" he stated matter of factly

"don't care since I don't want to get up for the day its boring as fuck being cooped here" you muttered into his side again before moving to look up at him

"I know it's boring in here but it's what you made us do to prove mine and John's innocence well mine more than his but same thing" he spoke out after a few moments as he looked down at you with a soft smile etching his features

"yeah, and at first it was fun now it's just boring good thing that we just have one more day left" you muttered with a small yawn while moving to rub your eye with your free hand since your other one was under Sherlock

After a few hours had passed you and Sherlock moved to the living room, and you decided t0 watch some shows that you were missing out on but moved the tv so Sherlock could watch them too if he wanted to while Sherlock went to do some experiments with what he had in his arsenal this Monday but watched the tv occasionally

"Will is being drugged you know" Sherlock spoke out as he inspected a test tube making you sigh slightly since you just started watching Hannibal since it was on the tv for too long and you decided that this would be the best time to watch it

"Sherlock, I swear to god we have talked about this" you muttered as you turned to look at him

"sorry but I couldn't help it" he replied with an awkward smile before going silent

After you had finished Hannibal, you went to a different show, and you started to glare at Sherlock as he looked up you at the same time dying to tell you something obvious about the show, but he knew you wouldn't let him

"do it I dare you" you spoke out making him do an unsure face before looking back down at his tubes, so you turned around back to the tv when there was silence between the two of you

"Walt poisoned that kid you know" he replied after a small while looking sheepishly sine he didn't want to spoil it for you, but he didn't care since he needed some sort of deducing, so he didn't go rusty

"what?" you replied to him confused turning to look at him

"look at his hands he keeps smelling them, wash them like he does after a meth cook but he's not used to the natural smell of flowers also he had a botanical encyclopedia in his room and several shots of lily of the valley hidden through the episode" he deduced using his hand to motion to the tv

"damnit Sherlock" you sighed annoyed

"oh no..." Sherlock replied bored as he gave up the experiments since there's only so much, he can do with what he has before he joined you on the couch looking bored "don is cheating again" he added in a more bored tone since it was getting late

"what? No! he loves Megan" you replied shocked as you turned to face him on the couch

"Look at how he answers the phone he looks at the door before, and his voice goes up when he talks he thinks it's someone specific, but not his wife notice his face, it's got sleep wrinkles on the other side it means he slept on the side of the bed he's not used to also his smoke carton is one cigarette shorter, it means he smoked one more than usual he doesn't look stressed, so it obviously means he had sex" he deduced once again making you sigh annoyed

"I hate you" you replied facepalming yourself

"oh, come on its right there" he exclaimed motioning to th tv

"Masuka knows about dexter, Dan is the Gossip Girl, Nick and Jess won't make it, Hondor is faking it, He's the killer, She's the mother, They were dead all along" Sherlock listed through the night while you slowly got frustrated at him doing so

"Sherlock can you 'deduct' how much I hate watching tv with you?" you asked annoyed as you fully turned to face him

"of course, I can" he replied in a bored tone watching the tv in front of you both

"then why don't you leave" you exclaimed motioning to the other side of the room

"because I want you to turn off the tv and come to bed" he replied back bored before realization sets into you

"oh!" you replied with a small chuckle as you realised the time, but you finished off the episode and decided to go to bed for another day of boredom to arise

Day 6 {Sunday final day}

Sherlock got up earlier then you for some reason since you didn't hear his mutterings but let you lay in bed for the time you decided to get up for which would be when you wanted to but when you did it was around 12 and slowly walked into the living room to sleep to see Lestrade, Donovan and the chief captain in the house

"why?" you asked as you leaned against Sherlock who was standing by the doorway to his room with his hands clasped behind his back, but his eyes were watching them carefully around his flat

"apparently they are doing a check for some reason" he replied as he wrapped an arm around your waist, so you didn't fall over

"a check we haven't left the house in 6 days" you muttered before moving to stand up straight and rubbed your eyes while yawning

"they know that, but they wanted to be sure since they still haven't got the killer" he replied to you in a monotone voice which made you slowly nod as you went to go make some tea

"stay with Sherlock" the chief ordered as he looked at you while hand motioning to Sherlock as if you dint know where he was to begin with, but Donovan was watching you like a hawk

"go suck a dick" you replied tiredly as you went to go make a cup of tea which the chief didn't like since he didn't want to be spoken to like that "want one Sherlock?" you replied after a bit

"earl grey if you don't mind" he replied with a small smirk to his face as he went to go to you making the chief sigh annoyed not liking the disobedience

"hey sunshine we own this damn flat, ok? So, if you want us to listen to you don't be a fucking dick about it, we aren't running for the fucking door, and we haven't left Donovan's sight since I got the fuck up take a damn chill pill" you ranted annoyed while the kettle was boiling in the background

"calm down princess you're making him have an aneurysm" he teased as he moved to kiss the top of your head softly but to them it was just him turning to face you

"tough shit isn't it" you muttered as you made the tea humming slightly as you made Lestrade a cup of coffee "sugar and milk Greg?" you asked into thin air making him jump a bit since he wasn't expecting you to talk to him

"just 3 sugars please" he replied making you nod as you put the sugars in and moved to hand him it before going back to your tea then went to grab the milk from the fridge then put it back when you were done

As you slowly sipped your tea you made your way to the centre table and worked on the puzzle that was on there which was the optical illusion one since you weren't allowed to do the solar system one for obvious reasons

They were here for another 2 hours before they decided to take down the camera from the skull as if we didn't know where it was to begin with making you grin as you went to get dress casually and came out after putting on your jacket

"you can leave your flat, but you will be still under evaluation until the case is finished" the chief spoke out as you grinned happily

"so, we can leave the flat?" you asked confirming what he said even though it was obvious to anyone who didn't know what was happening

"yes, you can leave the flat" the chief replied with a small nod after letting out a small sigh making you peck Sherlock cheek softly but quickly

You nodded as you casually walked out the door and just as you reached the top of the stairs "freedom!" you exclaimed as you started running downstairs scaring Mrs Hudson on the way which made you apologise in the process

"was being with you that bad?" Lestrade asked with confusion before chuckling amused

"no she didn't mind it, but I assume she didn't like being cooped up for too long she was starting to get bored" Sherlock replied as he moved to grab his jacket and scarf "now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go to Bart's for some stuff" he added as he started to leave and after a few moments they followed as well

After a few hours of being at Bart's he found Molly's boyfriend who looked like him, so he acted casually and wanted to get to know him making Molly happy but instead took him to the police station and arrested him when they had the evidence to the case since, he wore stuff that looked just like Sherlock and made the child have the same reaction to him like they did to Sherlock

Once he was in jail, they had found the rest of the kids, and the police sent them back to their respectful parents and carried on with the rest of their days with new cases and new daily hassles
