You had met Damon when you were both 23 and at first it was just meant to be a one-time fling like he had for all the other girls at the village, but it soon became more when you both developed feelings for each other when you both kept meeting each other more than his other girls and soon got married after 4 years of dating.

Your parents didn't approve of the relationship because Damon was cocky and unfaithful whereas the Salvatore's accepted the relationship being happy for Damon to find someone to stay with forever.

A few weeks before the wedding he turned you into a vampire with your consent so that you could live with him for all eternity and once you agreed to it, he made sure the wedding wouldn't start until you had control of your vampire powers and your blood lust.

Present day

You, Damon and Stefan had been in the house alone for about 2 hours since you guys didn't have anything to do till later on in the day with Bonnie, Caroline and Elena

So, while Damon was reading a book while having his whiskey and Stefan was just slowly falling asleep against the chair and you were doing the same but out of boredom so as you catch Damon's eye when he looked at you over the book you looked at him for a few moments before you gave him a look as if to say "play along" and he nodded slightly with a small amused smirk on his face

"I think I want a divorce" you muttered making your head fall back slightly.

"What are you doing?" Damon asked sitting up to face you putting the book down not caring if he lost his place while Stefan shot up in his seat in shock wondering why you wanted a divorce since you both were inseparable since you both started dating.

"Just practicing" you said in a monotone voice turning to him in your seat causing him to scoff amused.

"Wha...why are you already planning your hypothetical divorce?" He asked holding his glass watching you.

"I don't know I'm 175 I think I'm....I think I'm having an immortal quarter life crisis" you spoke out moving to sit properly while Stefan was watching slightly in amusement since the shock wore off.

"You don't even hate me?" He spoke confused holding back a laugh.

"Hypothetically divorce me" you asked watching him trying to hold back a laugh as well.

"Ok then I'm hypothetically taking half your assets" he shrugged sitting back in his chair while everyone else just walked in looking confused.

"Well, you didn't sign the hypothetical prenup" you spoke unsure before turning to Stefan "is it? It's called a prenup right?" You asked.

"Yea...yeah it's a prenup and you did hypothetically sign one so..." Stefan replied still confused and Elena shrugged when she looked at him since she didn't know what was happening either.

"Who the fuck is this guy?" Damon asked motioning to Stefan as he stood up acting mad but clearly amused.

"I'm her hypothetical lawyer in this divorce case" he replied acting serious about this siting back in this seat.

"Well...I'm taking the hypothetical kids so...right we can get those?" Damon spoke turning to Elena hoping she would play along just as Stefan was, but she was even more confused but looked out for him regardless.

"Uh...yes we can definitely get the hypothetical kids don't worry about it" Elena shrugged waving her hand.

"Who the fuck is this hypothetical nerd fucking idiot, jealousy wearing, nerd" you spoke out before muttering "stupid idiot..." Under your breath

"Wow those are a lot of hypothetical insults" she chuckled "I need to keep this jealousy in check because I would act like the other lawyer" she replied motioning to Stefan who was just trying to keep his laugh in

"This is my hypothetical lawyer" Damon replied moving to sit back down in his chair "and we have been hypothetically sleeping with each other...so" he added casually shrugging while everyone looked at Damon shocked at how he could just casually sprout false information.

"How could you hypothetically-" you spoke but cut yourself off from laughing "how could you hypothetically do this to me!?" you finished trying to act mad.

"Because you hypothetically are an unfaithful person" he shot back causing you to look at him fake mad and upset making you run upstairs as if you were and he followed in suit after a few moments.

"What the fuck just happened?" Bonnie asked looking at Stefan clearly confused and annoyed that Damon cheated on you with Elena.

"Your guess is as good as mine I was falling asleep but woke up to Y/N saying she wanted to divorce Damon!" He shot back defending himself while raising his hands in defence as they both conditioned to argue.

Meanwhile in Damon's room

You and Damon were both holding back their laughter since Stefan would've heard you both if you both started to burst out laughing.

"That is the most fun I've had today" you laughed into his chest which would've muffled it for Stefan and the gang.

"Did you have that planned or something?" He asked holding back a laugh as he held you close.

"No, it was all planned on the spot...oh god now it's going to be awkward with them around" you replied clutching his shirt slightly.

"Yeah, it might be but think of it this way we got a good laugh out of it" Damon chuckled
