You had met Charlie in your 5th year and clicked almost immediately on the fact of liking animals mainly dragons and wanting to care for them for a job after school but didn't start dating till halfway through the sixth year.

You are part of the black family, but your father was Regulas before he died when you turned 10 so he assigned Remus and Sirius to look after you seeing as they would raise you right and not put you into a Slytherin house which worked since you turned into a Hufflepuff.

Around about the 7th year you met the family which at the time was just the two parents at the house since the other siblings were in school but ginny and Bill went out to Diagon Alley for shopping since you guys decided to visit when Charlie had the time off which was rare on some occasions.

3 years later

On the first year you had moved in with each Charlie when you travelled over to Romania one day secretly to surprise him at work

When you got settled in and started getting used to helping him in his sanctuary, but you had mainly started cooking for the guys since they had a preference over your muggle cooking then what they previously had to eat after you brought in some lunches for Charlie and the group.

On the 3rd year it was a lot more special than you expected it to be especially when it was so close to Halloween and Charlie was acting a bit weirder then normal despite him liking the holiday

But nonetheless you were cooking as usual but when you turned away to get some spices you had turned back to see Charlie's dragon sitting on the table causing me to chuckle.

"You're not meant to be in here I know how greedy you can get with their food" I chuckled again amused before setting the spice jars down on the nearby table and picked him up and went to return him.

When you got to Charlie's tent he was nervously pacing while also muttering some things which you couldn't quite get as if he was rehearsing something while waiting for you to arrive

"Hey Charles, I got...hey are you ok?" I asked softly setting the dragon on the couch and went over to him and rested a hand on his arm softly.

"Oh, uh I'm fine thanks" he smiled nervously as he quickly hid the ring box away from your view and quickly put it in his pocket but due to his nervousness, he made it obvious that he was hiding something from you.

"You sure you seem a bit off..." you said softly as you watched his movements curiously.

"I'm fine don't worry" he smiled nervously as he kissed your cheek softly.

"You sure?" You said after a bit looking at him curiously who nodded shyly.

"Thank you for returning the dragon I was wondering where he got to" he added after a bit moving to pick him up and smiled at you softly.

"No problem I'll see you later...?" You said after a bit pecking his cheek softly before walking out but when you got out the tent Charlie stopped you.

"Hey Y/N wait" he spoke after a bit causing you to turn around and saw him put the dragon aside and moved back to his previous position before he got down on one knee after a few moments of debating with his mental self.

"I wanted to do this in a more romantic setting, but I just couldn't wait any longer" he said with a soft yet nervous smile.

"Oh Charlie..." You whispered into your hands trying not to cry.

"Y/N I have loved you since the day that we met and even after a few weeks of meeting you I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you even if it means having dragons as our children then so be it" he started out softly before laughing at the end causing you to chuckle slightly through your happy tears.

"Baby dragons would be a lot worse to look after" you joked with a weak smile.

"I don't care as long as you agree to be my wife from now and forever" Charlie added with a soft smile as he pulled the box from his pocket and opened it.

"Will you marry me Y/N?" He asked with a small chuckle as if he already knew the answer.

"Yes...Yes a million times yes" you said happily as you walked over to him and kissed him passionately while wrapping your arms around his neck while his arms wrapped around your waist as he kissed back.

After a few moments you both pulled away as he slipped the ring on your finger happily.

"I love you more than words can describe" Charlie whispered as he rested a hand on your cheek which you happily leaned into

"And I love you till death do us part" I added softly before kissing him sweetly.

He waited a few hours before sending a letter to his parents letting him know that he got engaged but not to tell the rest of them till he came over for the holidays if and when he could.

A year and a half later

You and Charlie both took time off work which was rare due to how many people wanted to know about dragons or needed them.

When you had the time off you both went to tell my family which wasn't much due to most of them being passed away, but they promised not to tell anyone until we told his side of the family which he hardly seen in general.

When he eventually went over to tell them by himself while you were at your family there were always a few Weasley's who weren't there, or they were just leaving and couldn't stay for a while to share the news.

But when it came to any special holiday specifically Christmas, we knew they would be all in so when Christmas came around, we normally would go to our respected families to celebrate but since Sirius decided to take Remus on holiday this year just the two of them so you two celebrated it early in the sense of presents and party games.

When actual Christmas came around you decided to spend time around the burrow which sounded fun due to how Charlie explained it

Charlie was already at the house just to make sure everyone was there and to greet them normally while you were at Diagon Alley collecting some last-minute presents for his family and some sweets since you were hungry.

When you came back to the burrow you quietly snuck into the house to surprise Charlie in his room so once you saw the stairs were clear and no other Weasley's were around you started to head towards it before getting called on by someone

"Who are you?" One of the tall boys asked as they walked towards you curiously.

"I'm guessing your either Bill, Fred or George?" I questioned with an amused smile as I turned around awkwardly to look at him.

"You didn't answer my question" he retorted standing with his arms crossed trying to be intimidating.

"You didn't answer mine" I shot back amused standing in the same pose but with more of an amused look on my face.

"Leave her alone Bill" Charlie spoke out amused as he walked over and stepped in front of you both but faced Bill.

"She's trespassing" he replied motioning to you with his hand after a bit.

"If that's the case so is fleur? She's not meant to be in here either" Charlie replied with a small chuckle as he crosses his arms amused before turning to you and lowered his arms.

"At least mom knows about her and me does she know about you two?" He shot back annoyed which attracted attention to the other family members that were close by, and you awkwardly waved at some of them and only the twins waved back.

"Yes, she does actually so do dad and they also met her so don't go asking that question either" he shot back turning to glare at him slightly but kept his body language in a calm state before turning to you again.

"Top floor it's the only room there and it's mine our stuffs there but not put out also mom and dad know your here" Charlie whispered in your ear so Bill and the others didn't hear him.

You smiled at him and headed upstairs after a few moments just as he turned back to Bill who already started to leave to go see molly and Arthur.

"Idiot she knows about her like I said" he muttered to himself amused before heading upstairs after a bit to help you unpack since he had a lot of stuff due to having a lot of presents and clothes.

After a few hours you and Charlie got done with unpacking and you decided to go downstairs to put the presents you got for his family and fleur.

"So, who are you? Since Charlie, Mom and Dad won't tell us" Ginny asked you when you were done setting them under the tree and turned to her while slowly moving to stand.

"I'm er... Charlie's..." You spoke unsure at the start before the rest of the family came into the living room.

"Your Charlie's what?" Fred asked leaning against the door frame.

"Girlfriend? Fiancé? Wife?" George finished standing alongside the other twin.

"Charlie? Get attached to something other than a dragon please" Bill scoffed annoyed mainly because he didn't trust you despite it being the first time meeting you.

"Behave boys and treat her like family and it's Charlie's girlfriend if you guys must know" Molly scolded as she walked in with Charlie and Arthur and sat down.

"Actually mom...she's my uh now fiancé we got engaged about a year and a half ago and we were waiting till I had the whole family here before telling you all" Charlie said awkwardly as if he was nervous to tell the rest of the family but made it seem like the parents didn't know while he walked over to you and held you close by pushing your back into his chest and wrapped an arm around your waist causing you to grin happily

"Oh my god that's amazing news sweetheart" she spoke happily acting as if she didn't know as she got up from her seat and pulled him away from you slightly and hugged him tightly and the other boys, but Bill soon joined, and the girls did after a bit but also hugged you as well.

"Congratulations my boy" Arthur spoke out in the same manner as molly as he hugged him tightly and patted his back as well.

"So, when's the wedding?" Ginny asked after a few moments.

"We haven't decided yet but there's no rush for it" I replied with a slight chuckle as a small blush forming on your cheeks.

"Well hopefully you get the wedding down before Bill gets engaged to Fleur" George joked as he patted your arm amusingly.

"It's not a competition but if he does, we will make sure it doesn't clash with their plans" I said softly looking up at him since he was almost the same height as Charlie.

"Considering there's more boys than girls in the household yes, it is a competition for them that is" Ginny joked as she took you away to the other room with Fleur and Molly for a chat on how he proposed to you.

Later that night

You and Charlie was getting for bed you both started to talk about how Bill was a bit moody and rude.

"Well, my family seems to like you" Charlie hummed drying his hair slightly before he went to put on the underwear and pants.

"But Bill" I added amused as I put on one of his red shirts.

"Bill is basically the parent he keeps everyone in line and just because he doesn't know you, he thinks you're going to ruin the family" he chuckled turning to you.

"But I'm not going to ruin the family" I chuckled as you walked over to him and leaned into his bare chest after he threw the towel to the nearby chair.

"I know that and so does he, he is just overprotective of the family" he smiled pecking your lips sweetly while his hands rested on your waist.

"Well, I hope he gets used to it cause I'm not leaving" I smirked playfully.

"And neither am I" he replied to smirking back staring at you for a few moments before kissing you again rough but passionate which ensued a small make out session and a night with hardly any sleep.
