Imagine being in the Slytherin house but you act like a different house and the boys trying to figure out why you're in it if you're not evil

Nobody died in the movies and all of them still exist like the Marauders and such

You were a Black born a year older than Harry but got sorted into a Slytherin house which didn't please him much due to his brother getting in there, but you reassured him that you wouldn't turn to the dark side, and you wouldn't die for doing dumb shit like a prank gone wrong or something with the twins

You were a top student, never missed any classes and never got any detention whatsoever while also being the nicest and trusting person in the whole of Slytherin you could do no wrong as they put it since they never saw you do anything bad before to put you in this house in the first place

The boys and girls in your year found you confusing as you mainly sat with the Gryffindor's or the Hufflepuffs instead of your own house which you didn't care since dumbledor didn't say where you should sit in the great hall, so you shrugged when they made a comment on it

when you did represent your house, it was for quidditch since you were their seeker so that was the only time you hurt someone and even then, Harry knew it was only for the game same for your parents and James didn't like that you won the main game against the two houses

one night when you were relaxing in the dorm room reading a book and everyone came flooding in from somewhere, but you ignored them until they started talking to you

"So why are you here?" pansy asked as they all took a seat on the chairs and Mattheo next to you lighting up a cigarette which you didn't mind since your dad smoked

"To read a book Tom suggested to me since I have read most of the books in the library" you replied matter of factly as you waved the book in your hand "it's quite a good read thank you" you replied smiling a Tom and he gave a small nod in return

"No, she means why are you in this house?" Mattheo asked as he took a puff of smoke out before bringing it back to his lips

"Because we got housed that way? You did get housed by the hat, right?" you asked narrowing your eyes at him and he sighed a nodding making you mentally chuckle "then why ask a dumb question?" you added

"Because we want to know why your here" Mattheo replied with a sigh which was followed by a huge puff of smoke

"Do you smoke? Drink? Do drugs?" Draco asked knowing that you were just going to be smart with any other questions he would've formed it in

"Why would I do any of those things? They ruin your body in more ways than one then again you can lung cancer even if you don't smoke but point still stands" you replied calmly at first before putting your hand on your chin in thought before shaking your head at it then finished what you were saying

"You haven't got into a fight with anyone?" Tom asked as he leaned forward into his single leather chair, he got sent to Hogwarts clasping his hands together

"Yes, with Harry and his dad for not letting him winning the Quidditch tournaments but it can't be helped" you replied with a small shrug "I'm better than him at Quidditch" you added smugly

"He meant fist fights you absolute dumbass" Astoria replied causing you to glare at her at her annoyance after seeing her out of order demeanor and attitude towards you which she would never show to Tom since there were gossip going around that he liked you as well as Mattheo

"If I'm an absolute dumbass Astoria then why did you eat the whole tub of brownies in the cupboard that was meant to be for Tom?" you asked confused "and it was labelled for Tom, and you know he doesn't like anyone touching his stuff" you added noticing her to look down since I knew her eyes would be red since you made them to be pot brownies for anyone to take but labelled them to be for Tom to make it worse for people to take them even if there were like 8 of them in the box

Tom looked at her mad having the theory you made them for him before getting into a slight disagreement which the rest got involved in to defend her but Mattheo who watched in amusement making you slowly walk out of the common room back to yours which was a private one due to Sirius wanting you to be safe

You were fitted to the house perfectly since year one of the school you had skillfully and cunningly prank the whole Slytherin dorm without them knowing about it so that way your façade didn't get discovered knowing you don't have to be downright evil to be in that house and to this day they still haven't figured it out even after you have pranked the twins and Umbridge without the school knowing

You didn't care if you didn't get the credit for it or be congratulated for the pranks you did in Hogwarts it didn't matter to you but telling your dad and his friends about what you do and why you are proud to be in Slytherin they gave you what you wanted since you have become them while still being chaotically good

So you kept pranking them being undetected while causing them to be confused on why you were in the house in the first place rejecting the mark when Tom tried to force it upon you but you punched him when he tried to doing without consent
