A friend of yours has been accused of taking another person's favorite coat. It's a really special one to that person. You've seen your friend wearing a coat that looks like the one taken. What do you do?

Well, if one of my friends got accused of stealing someone's coat, I'd ask my friend if they did it or not. If they say yes, then I'd......basically force them to give it back. If they say no, then I'd press to make sure. And if they dodge the question entirely- I'd press and if they still dodge the question, I'd write them up as a liar.

I'd try to settle things and try to help both parties make up the best I can, but sometimes things just can't work out. And since I've seen my friend wear a similar coat to the missing one, I'd ask the owner of the missing coat when it went missing. If the dates line up to where it's possible that the coat I saw my friend wearing could be the missing coat, I'd then ask said friend about that coat they wore and if I could see it. If the dates don't line up at all, then it's just a coincidence. Most likely the friend couldn't have taken the coat. But there's always the possibility.

So if my friend allowed me to see the coat, I'd ask to take it to the owner of the missing coat and see if the coat matches with their missing one. If not, then there's not really the possibility that my friend took it.
