No one P.O.V

Demi awoke to a sound he wasn't often familiar with. To the point he was unsure of what exactly the noise was.

What he did know was that the sound was waking him up and he couldn't just keep ignoring it like he had been.

"Wha...?" He mumurs, his golden eyes opening into the dim lit room, His pupils having to adjust to the lighting.

There in front of him lay his partner Miika who's form quivered and shook, his body curled up into a tight protective ball, His tail wrapped Around his legs. His long tail seemed to keep his legs bound to be pressed against his stomach, keeping them from moving that far away and breaking the protective stance he had taken in his sleep.

Small and quiet mumurs and whimpers left Miika and Demi's brows furrowed in worry for his significant other.

With a small sigh he would Wrap a warm blanket around the other, Pulling Miika into his arms and silently trying to comfort the other.

After a while it didn't seem to work, and demi grew even more frustrated.

Instead of trying anything else Demi left the bedroom, Throwing himself off the bed in one quick roll.

With a sigh he headed outside, Only sparing Miika once quick glance to see what his condition was.

It hadn't gotten any better but Demi still walked out of the room none the less, Hoping a brief walk onto the cold air outside might help him get some ideas on how to help his poor partner.

A breath let out into the air revealed how truly cold the dark night was. What looked like smoke billowed out, But it had only been the effects of Demi's breath hitting the frozen Cold atmosphere.

He had been right however he noted to himself as he walked back inside his house, not wanting to stay out in the cold much longer then need be.

It had helped him get some ideas on how to solve this problem, And he felt rather stupid for not thinking of such solutions sooner.

They were quite simple after all, and he planned to quickly put these ideas into motion.

First a blanket, A much thicker and fluffier one that Miika had named his comfort Wrap. Second came A scented candle, the smell of which being another comfort to Miika.

And finally..last but not least..a teddy bear that semi resembled Both Miika and Demi. Demi remembered buying it a while ago from this odd shop where custom plushies could be made  to resemble the buyer.

"Miika.." he would say his name gently, rubbing the other's shoulder.

"Wanna tell me what the nightmare was about...?" Demi whispered softly to his partner, holding them in his lap as he rocked him back and fourth. "No..I don't feel comfortable talking about it right now...but can we later..?" Miika would look into Demi's eyes, Hopeful of the answer.

"Of course...don't worry about it alright..?"
