Well, there were 9 contestants but I only got 8 stories, and all of them were enjoyable to read. I want to thank you all for taking part, I hope you had fun!

Here are my comments, and my marks.

Starting from the lowest marks to the highest.

8) Obsession the fatal curse by angelninja13

This contestant picked 'Obsession'. This is a fantasy story with a touch of horror. It's a nice little fic that does get a bit confusing here and there with the way it has been structured. Nice idea and pretty good choice of song.

7) Madhouse by Basrav98

This contestant picked 'Scary Movie', good choice! If you like to feel like the creators of American Horror Story's off-spring wrote something, this story gives off that vibe. It was nice, but I think it did lack a wee bit of more depth.

The song picked scared me, it fit in perfectly! I recommend you read this at Halloween...and don't go into any creepy houses.

6) Meander by EmmaDilemma8

That was really, really good. It was easy to read, its simplicity reminded me of something a more modern Mark Twain would have written.

I liked how there was just enough offered in order for me to see the mountain, the edge, the river and those anthills, without you over-doing it.

The ending was a nice way to tie it up, I was expecting your MC to probably jump off or turn to a bird.

Cute dialogue between the two, the Winner seemed a bit cocky yet sweet. Your MC had a melancholy streak. The choice of the category 'Fragile' was good, the MC's mentality appeared rather fragile as he/she was always broken about losing the contest on counting anthills.

The song fit in quite nicely, I was surprised for I didn't think a choice like that would match up to the fic, glad I was wrong.

Seventeen/These Four Walls by Foursword

Category of choice 'These Four Walls'. Shivers! I got shivers when I read this and I can smell the inside of a butcher's shop! Great imagery. Fantastic work created in one single page. The detail was amazing and if anything it left you wanting to read more. Very odd yet great choice of song.

You want sci-fi...something different? Take a look at this story. The choice of category was 'Library'.

The images portrayed are vibrant, you feel as though you are taken along for the ride. There's a lovely confusion that meets you half-way between the story and the great song choice.

Lovely imagination, this would make a brilliant movie!

at number 3) Meeting Happiness by the_fatkid

The story starts off in a very interesting way, the MC is writing a letter (you later realise it's a complaint form) and it has a great impact on the woman who reads it. Consequently she, because of his words, is able to make a change in her life, because of that she helps him make a positive change in his.

Picking 'Writer' was a brilliant idea for your category.

This story gets better and better as you read it. If you want to end up with a smile and warm fuzzy feeling, read this.

The song was an ideal choice. Though minor errors, it took nothing away from the story.

at number 2) Before by Mockingjayde

You weave words in such a way that made me giddy. I loved your words, loved they way you spread them out and created this lovely little fic. 'Addiction' was a perfect pick of categories.

The story was beautiful. It's amazing how we become addicted to someone we may want to quit, like a drug, but the high it just to damn perfect. You showed me that in this story.

What can I say? Loved it.

Loved the song too, it was like something Emeley would have been listening to when Jacob walked in I think.

and our number 1) winner is Sing for me by Crimson613

It took me a while to find my words for this story. If there were any grammar mistakes here I did not notice for I was too busy trying not to gasp at the beauty of this fic. It also fit well with the category picked...'Seven Deadly Sins', boasting lust and greed.

You are left teetering in thought, wondering if the Singer is man or bird. The story switches quickly and it can be confusing for some, but others will enjoy this style, I did.

The only this I did not like was the fact that this was too short. Please make it into a longer story and publish it!

The song was perfect! It was haunting and beautiful and it felt just right being there.
