I'M FINALLY COVERING MY PURE BEAN IN THIS BOOK

Claire's friendships go as follows:

Frisk: Super close with them, knew them on the surface. They're comfortable and feel safe around each other, like Chara and Frisk.

Chara: Kind of scared of her, but still tries to be nice to her because pure bean.

Sans: Thinks he's smart, likes to listen to him talk about science and space and stuff. He helps her with homework a lot.

Gaster: Her favourite, she sees him like a dad to her. He doesn't get why, but is very protective of her. She follows him around a lot and tries to help him out with everything she can, and likes listening to him ramble about science, even if she doesn't understand half of it because she's 12.

Undyne: Loves to train with her and wants to be just as strong as she is someday. She's barely able to keep up with the fish's energy, but tries her best, and whenever she's too tired, Undyne gives her a ride on her shoulders. Fish mom best mom.

Alphys: Alphys got Claire into anime, mostly MMKC and BNHA. She discusses everything anime with Alphys, and the lizard is happy that she has another person to nerd out with. Gaster now has two people dragging him along on Friday nights to watch anime.

Asgore: Doesn't get why people hate him, she thinks he's wonderful. She likes gardening and helps him out with it all the time, often snatching his gardening books and reading them in class instead of working.

Toriel: Who doesn't love Goat Mom?!

Asriel: Always petting him, which he likes. They seem to be close, and she often tags along whenever the three Dreemurr kids go out somewhere.

Flowey: Knows she should be scared of him, but isn't, instead always making time to talk to him and be nice to him. He seems to like her more than previous kids. She thinks his "i'll murder you all someday" act is funny, because it's obvious that he's not going to kill anybody.

Grillby: Loves to cook with him, and is his official helper in the diner, handing him things when he needs them and getting free food. She's also close with Fuku, as the two are homework buddies and both help out the adult fire monster whenever he needs it.

Mettaton: She loves the robot and wants to be a star like him. They hang out a lot, and he is very overprotective of her, calling her his "little darling" and flipping off anyone who dares to hurt her. He's tied with Gaster for who's the most overprotective of the child.

Muffet: Doesn't like spiders, but always stops by her shop and is as nice as she is to everyone. She tried Spider Cider once, and actually enjoyed it. She said it tasted like apple juice, but with a bit of zest.

Napstablook: She tries her best to comfort him on days that he's sad, and listens to him talk whenever he needs it.

Papyrus: Here comes the complicated one.

Claire always tells him that she thinks they've met before, which he knows, but he doesn't like the reason why. She told him once, "I get a bit of a dangerous vibe from you. It's not a bad thing though. You're the strong type. I don't get why you're so scared of a little kid like me. I'm not going to hurt you!" Due to having killed her in a past timeline, this really shook him up. He tries to avoid making even the slightest amount of physical contact with her, because in his eyes, she seems so fragile. Sans' normally reassuring line of "you don't know your own strength" haunts him whenever he's around Claire. Whenever she tries to give him a hug, he gets a full-body flinch and shakes a bit until she lets him go, afraid of even touching her because she's so small compared to him. It's like a newborn kitten - he feels like he can't touch her, because she's so small, pure and fragile that one wrong move could kill her, and he doesn't trust himself enough. She has made it her life goal to be best friends with him, and he has made it his life goal to not fucking murder her by accident.
