For those who know Inazuma Eleven and Inazuma Eleven Ares,don't you think that it is strange that Fubuki Atsuya(Aidan Froste) is dead in the original series but alive in the Ares series. There is only a one year gap between the two series and they said that Shirou(Shawn) is a year older than his brother in Ares so here is my theory,what if Aidan was just in a coma? According to Ade Rowley who works at Vodafone in the UK,people can age while in a coma. Although you age slower than you would outside a coma because you are not exposed to the external pollutants such as sunlight. Your mind doesn't age while you're in the coma in fact the brain stays in the same spot as it was before the accident that caused the coma. So I think it's probable that Aidan was pronounced dead at the scene of the avalanche but was discovered to still be alive once he was brought to the hospital. So look-wise Shawn and Aiden are twins but mind-wise Shawn is a year older than Aidan. Now about Shawn and Aiden being the same kid, I think that might be Dissociative identity disorder(DID) or a multiple personality disorder thought to be caused by many factors, including severe trauma during early childhood (usually extreme, repetitive physical, sexual, or emotional abuse). Maybe Shawn took on Aidan's personality after the avalanche and that why he and his brother are said to be the same kid in the original series. Now I know that you may not agree with that logic but that is just my theory.
