A/N: This takes roughly a year after "A Champion Is Crown(Evolution,ep.51)". I have had this theory that Shu goes back for Spryzen after the tournament. Plus we never saw Norman after his loss and Boa made a promise to Valt to left the Snake Pit,but we never saw if he kept that promise. Promting this story.

Fear rocked my body as I stood outside the Snake Pit's main door. Could I do this again after everything that happened? What happens if I fall back into my old ways? A soft pressure in my hand pulled me back to reality. Looking over at my hand I saw Valt smiling softly at me. I sighed as a hand was placed on my shoulder; Rantaro. Looking around at the small group with me,which contained Valt,Rantaro,Wakiya,Daigo,and Ken,I took a deep breath before muttering a single word,"Open." On que the door slid open revealing the interior. "Let's go." Daigo said as he pressed his hand against my back,pushing me forward slightly. "Yeah." I said weakly. We walked into the elevator and began our trip down to the heart of the temple. I shuttered as the doors of the small chamber opened revealing the dozens of bladers,some younger then me,training their hearts out. "Red Eye!" A voice called out. A weak smile found my lips as a pair of arms curled themselves around me. Boa Alcazaba, the boy who had looked up to me as his idol until I lost to Lui and broke my mask in the process. I still remember that day. "It's Shu now young one." I told him as he released me from his embrace. "Oh right sorry." He said softly. "What are you doing here?" I gulped down the fear as I spoke,"I'm here to collect my things." The boy smiled and nodded before leading the way to my old dorm inside the building. The group began to follow my old apprentice before noticing that I wasn't moving. "Hey you coming Shu?" Valt asked me. "You guys go on ahead. There's something I have to do first." I told them. They nodded softly and took off after Boa. Sighing softly, I began to walk towards that riverbank where I had abandoned Legend Spryzen so long ago. A few tears escaped as I search for the long lost bey. That painful memory of when I left it behind and the words Ashtem had said to me just before replayed in my head. "A bey that has lost as no more value. You must abandon Legend Spryzen." Yeah,we had lost but that would only make us stronger together. A spark in the rocks caught my attention. There it was still shining as bright as it had before. "Hey bud." I muttered softly as I scooped the parts up and reassembled it. I cried softly clutching the small item to my chest. "Let's go home Spryzen." I said wiping tears away before heading back to the temple. The team along with Boa and Norman met me there. "Did you find it?" Boa asked softly as he was the only who knew about what happened that day. "Yeah." I smiled softly as I held out the bey for them to see. "How about a battle?" Valt said causing me to laugh. "Sure." I said before looking around. "A battle royale." The group smiled as we circled the stadium. Norman was our ref. due to the gold-eyed boy being the only one who didn't have a bey to use. "Ready? And set!" He called out as the familiar chant filled the air. We all did our best and the end result was a win for Spryzen. I sighed softly as we began to head back to the plane. "Hey wait!" Boa called. The boy stopped in front of me with Norman a few paces behind him. "Will we...I ever see you again?" He asked. I chuckled softly and nodded. "Maybe someday we will." I told him softly. "Hang on a moment?" Ken said softly. It had been a while since I've heard his true voice. I turned my attention to the black-haired boy. "Why don't you come with us? Both of you?" He asked the two boys. "Really?!? You mean it?!" Boa beamed. The group nodded softly as his green eyes lit up. "Yeah!" The boy cheered making the team laugh. "Norman?" I asked. "Indeed." He answered. Together with the two boys we continue our trip to the plane. I froze just before the stairs and turned back to stare at the forest. Deep within hid a place where bladers dreamt of becoming stronger. A place where I had lost my sanity and almost my life. "Hey you coming dude?" Rantaro called out. "Yeah come on. We ain't got all day Shu." Wakiya complained playfully with a grin on his face. "Yeah I'm coming." I said as I climbed up the stairs and into the Wakiya's private jet. I was lost in the darkness once before but thanks to my friends,I found my way back into the light. I own them everything and I promise never to fall back into that place ever again. "Let's go home everyone." I told them. "Yeah!" Shouts of agreement rung out as the group smiled. My friends. No,not my friends. My family that save me from myself and never give up on me.
