You take Kitt out and it's no longer the same, Valkyrie could've gotten some lame evolution

Let me explain:

Kitt was the one who brought Valt to BC Sol. At first, he didn't think Valt was really strong, but led him to the stadium anyways. There's the reason. If Kitt hadn't done that, then Valt would never have gotten to battle Sisco, and Valkyrie probably wouldn't have broken. Zoro wouldn't have seen them, thus stopping him from become trainer for BC Sol later in the season.
