Fourteenth Thought
Note: this is a compilation of small time events that has happened since the start of the quarantine years. ALSO YA GIRL IS BACK!!
Made 9/4
*Staring at the current state of the US* ....................Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........ So, yeaahh...let's just ignore that, cause I don't want to go through that. I just want to make a post that steered away from the depressing topics and cause since we are still stuck in 'quarantine' my parents and I have been watching some movies and shows that connect us to our childhood.
One movie I enjoyed watching had actually gotten a 3rd addition to the series. It was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, a movie made many years ago when even my parents were kids. I watched that movie so many times after I first saw it with my parents and really enjoyed it. Funny enough, I absolutely hated learning about history in school or even in movies; except for this one. For some odd reason this movie just spoke to 8 year old me. And now since I watched this as an adult (and took French class and could understand Napoleon who only spoke French in that movie) it was honestly even better than when I was a kid.
And a show, which my parents are watching right now actually, it's a sci-fi based show which I somehow understood and enjoyed the high-tech and scientific words as a 6 year old (crazy, I know). I loved the show cause it showed the possibility of certain technological advanced ideas coming to reality and how it could effect us as a society. It also has psychological mystery in it as well as many in depth plots all happening at once. Some of the tech in the show that can be related to today is VR as we all know as Virtual Reality and what it could advance to, and a smarthouse (more like smartbunker). Like a literal fully AI controlled smarthouse that can filter air, cook food, do laundry, open doors, protect the house with plasma guns, and force you to reconcile issues you have with friends and coworkers by locking you in cause they didn't want the owner to leave...yes that is an actual episode. Oh yeah, the show is called Eureka and I still love watching that shit, especially now since I now get some of the more adult jokes.
Funny enough, the next show has no adult jokes what-so-ever. It's a pretty well known show as the spin-off of it became an 'anime' meme. I say it like that cause it isn't an anime at all. And it's That's So Raven, been watching it on Disney Plus whenever I can cause my siblings love hogging the TV to play Youtube and video games. It was one I truly loved watching as a kid due to the very obvious aspect to the show which is clairvoyance--or seeing the future--that Raven somehow has. But I also enjoyed the characters and the relationship they had with each other and had greatly influenced my own personality and how I speak with others. And that hit of nostalgia I get when I watch it now is just a nice feeling especially with the world we're in rn.
The last one I want to talk about is ATLA (Avatar The Last Airbender), the actual show and not the movie...We don't ever talk about the movie here. But, ah ha...yeah, can't tell ya how many times I've re-watched this show. And I don't think I have to praise it as much here as most of the internet already did that for me. But Sokka and Toph are best characters and you can't tell me otherwise.

You thought this update was done? Nah m8 we just getting started. I just wanted to add something here that--for me--doesn't happen alot. And, um...that is the fact that I caved. It doesn't happen all that much and the last time I did was over 6 years ago. I caved after seeing all the posts and shit online till I broke and said 'you know what? Fuck it.'
...........Then I ended up getting Genshin Impact. What? Did you think I was talking about something else? Nah, I ain't some petty bish or anythin' like that.
Let me clarify tho, I don't enjoy mobile games. And I absolutely despise those fucking ads you'd get about them on other apps and Wattpad. But sometimes--only twice--have I actually got a 'free' game from ads and have enjoyed them and played them more than once.
So for me to get Genshin and enjoy it is very much an achievement. Like, the first time I played it...I am ashamed to admit that I stayed up till 3 am playing. (currently salty now tho cause I didn't get effing Sucrose and Xiao). I am so hooked that I have embarrassingly been neglecting my duties as a writer, sorry, but will get back into that soon with a few 'crack' filled chapters before going back to following the plot for Stellatum.
But, yes, the game does have its flaws and bugs. Some of which I enjoy happening to me and manage to get photos of it. But I really enjoy the story and characters, like our favorite emergency food known as Paimon! I can't wait for the update to go to and see what Inazuma looks like when we can finally go there. In the mean time, I'm gonna have to level up my Barbara by battling the Oceanid (#killme).
If any of you also play and want to friend me, my UID is 614849648. Also here is some bugs and funny shit I managed to get so far:
One I like to call: 'What a strange groundhog!'
And this one is: 'Where is the emergency food going!? Get back here Paimon!'
The hell happened here: 'Huh I finally-whAT THE HELL IS THAT DEMON?!'
What I call sleepy confusion: 'Oh hey, going on a late night stroll? Mind if I-?' *Spots them walking in pond and face right in wall* Me: *visible confusion*
Going to Dragonspine for the first time be like: 'Wait, does this mean I'm freezing? *remembers Childe's words* Should I be worried about freezing to death??'
Slimes truly are the most annoying enemy: 'Stop! I don't have time to fight you! Let me read this scene in peace!'
What have I done to this poor cat: 'Is cats a furniture now?'

So if any of ya are wondering, I am still alive and still working on a few drafts for SO and new books i plan to post up soon but, um...Right now I am kinda stuck in a rut of sorts. I have a full on creative block right now that it's not even funny; I don't have the will to write, draw, or even paint right now. Guess it doesn't help that I've got more hours at work now cause we are low on staff currently which means I'm exhausted by the time I can actually write. I do have small spurts of writing ideas here and there but to me, it just doesn't fit my vision of the story and end up deleting it.
I honestly don't know if it could also be due to how high my anxiety has been or if it's the 'quarantine depression' hitting me hard right now.
So for now I'll keep my books on an indefinite hiatus until I can find that writing 'spark' again. I am sorry for keeping you all waiting but I still need this time, hope you all understand.

Fuck, it's been years, sorry. It's been tough since the beginning of 2020. First, the quarantine then my mom getting COVID. Then we had some people at my work decide it's best not to come back to work and stay hold up at home or find another job. Then during 2021 I had to work a shit ton cause we was low on staff and when that was happening my writers block started up and I was filled with the void itself. Then right as I was getting back into the swing of things and we were finally gonna get a few more people at work, a full year since my mom got COVID......I got fucking COVID and our work shut down for 10 days cause a lot more people also got it. 0)-(0 (It was a tiring 2 weeks of being stuck doing nothing again).
And when we finally returned to work, I saw the schedule and I was back to just doing afternoon shifts...a co-worker moved, but I thought 'hey that's okay we still have plen-.' A week later another co-worker left on maternity leave and eventually quit. "*sigh* Hey at least two others will be joining so-." It got delayed cause even the people doing background checks were backed up with work. AND THEN they were able to start working; one of them left after a few months and then 2 more for family reasons.
And now it's the start of 2022-another co-worker leaves on maternity leave. "Yaaay, more work for meee*sighs in defeat*"
But wait! What's this?! 2 more people are finally able to work here since their background checks are finally through and they can start lifting our workload?! And wait! It's the end of April and now 2 more are confirmed to start soon?! YES FINALLY I CAN NOW START WRI-!! ...fuck...nearly forgor my cousin's wedding.............GODDAMNIT-!!
5/9/22
Haha, all jokes and ranting aside, I really had my hands full despite going through a pandemic. And I honestly did have tons of fun at my cousin's wedding. Her princess gown of a bridal dress was beautiful and hanging out after not seeing her in years was also fun! I also got with a fuck ton of nostalgia when we arrived at Cali (did I mention that part?). And it was nice just having some bonding time with long distanced family.

YO YO YO! WHAT'S UP MY NI-[cut for obvious reasons]!
Oi? Why was that cut? What do you mean 'obvious reasons'? I was calling them my NICE and LOVING readers! Smh srsly! *rolls eyes*
Ahem! Sorry about that guys really! Anywho~ hi everyone~! It's a me! The author that has been MIA for over 2 years now. Yeah um, sorry bout that, truly. Life had seriously gotten in the way for so long. I was going to go back to posting a few months ago but uh...more coworkers quit. Then I got more hours to work (I felt like I was full time instead of past time tbh).
I thought 'I'll start this fall, we got enough staff that I can-!' *2 workers left the chat* *30 toddlers enter the chat* '...FU-!'
It was like, I climbed over the small wall only to see the Great Wall of China AND Mt.Everest blocking my way. Yeah it's been an exhausting few months.
Besides that, I was very busy over the past year with traveling and *cough* Genshin *cough*. I was also working a lot and started up some more new story projects to get ahead before I start posting. I'm really excited to show you all them!
Oh! And as you can see, I've written this a little after thanksgiving. But that doesn't mean I'm back for good now, sadly, we still have the busy month of December to get past. (Ugh Christmas shopping...). I may post a teaser for one of my new books after Christmas tho.
I have been working on 2 big projects and 1 small one, and I hope you like them! The 2 big ones will, again, be based on already existing media. One of which I've been wanting to write for a long time! I still need to do some touch ups to the chapters so I won't be posting them till early February.
...
...
...
But don't quote me on that. Things may take a turn for the worse and I may need to go on hiatus again. That's just how foggy the future is right now. Though I will say, I really have missed posting here! And I hope to continue to for more years to come! I really have missed you all!

Ya know, now that I think about it. I don't think I've ever actually talked about my experience with dealing with Covid here. It was weird to say the least, I was getting symptoms even before being diagnosed but I was still surprised to see I actually got Covid. It simply felt as though I had a cold, but that week really wasn't going in my favor.
I had a long week of full time hours—9-6 or 8-5. And I had to wake up earlier than that to get my siblings ready for school and I was an idiot and went to bed late. Which resulted in me waking up with headaches everyday but eventually went away after I took a dose of ibuprofen. What came next was the fatigue and sore throat, but I thought it was because I had to talk over yelling 5 and 2 year olds.
Then I learned a co-worker I was exposed to was confirmed to have Covid and the next day went to get texted.
10 days I had suffered with coughs, a runny nose and fatigue. Then I had lost my sense of smell for everything but fish and chicken, idk why. I could also still taste things like chicken, potatoes, and oranges, but nothing else. There was a day I suffered with body aches but it was mostly in my legs and I get pain there often so it didn't bother me.
And even after the 10 day quarantine I returned to work still coughing—had it affect me for over a month after.
But I got lucky compared to my co-workers. Some were still suffering severe body aches even after returning to work. And we all had the vaccine and booster shots.
Please get tested for Covid, even if you don't feel too sick. Bc I wouldn't have if I didn't learn that my co-worker had it.

... *sighs* ...I can explain-!
Look okay it's 2023, I just recently turned 22 and I wanted to start this year off with a banger of a story but-aha. Yep, ya' girl got Covid again and suffered another 5 day quarantine. It was horrible, I had like-no symptoms this time besides little fatigue and light cough.
So I was getting major quarantine (cabin) fever. I was walking literal circles around my room, that's how bad I got. I couldn't even focus on writing after that either as more people left my job again bc they had the audacity to go to college and further their education! Jk, I'm proud of them for pursuing their passions and gaining more knowledge of the world.
In other news, this meant I started working more and I somehow ended up with the preschoolers.
And do you all know how exhausted and troublesome 3 year olds are??! They climb on shelfs, throw toys, run around the room, tackle and kick each other to the ground, they color on everything! And half of them aren't even fully potty trained and still in diapers!
But their fun to talk to and I enjoy having them come up to me to give me pictures they scribbled or to asking me about what I'm doing there or them telling me about their big twirls for the 40th time. It's cute and I love them. However they need lots of attention so I haven't been too focused on writing as of late but do plan on posting something very soon.
Asinthenext24hours!
Ahem! Yes! So look forward to that and I can only hope this is the last time I put another rant entry onto this one thought. And I mean look at it! It's nearly 3k words long! And I got no more space for glitchy genshin pics! Also got some new pfps thanks to picrew! I got lots and plan to use them every chance I get-! K, I'll stop now bf it gets too long. Anywaybye!
