My parents told me that if I don't clean my room the monsters will kill me in my sleep so I always cleaned my room. One day I forgot to clean my room so that night I asked my mom what would happen if I forgot. She said that the monster doesn't exist. She just made that up so I would clean my room. I was so mad that I didn't clean my room for a day. My mom then said that if I didn't clean up my room my mom would take away my desserts. So ya.

When my mom said that if I ate carrots I would get supervision which will give me the capability to see very far. So I ate my carrots for about a week. After that week I wondered why I still can't see far away. She said that I have to eat carrots for a longer time. Then my brother said that she said that to him and it isn't true. I was so sad because I wanted to see far away but now I wear glasses. Lesson learned Eating those carrots was a waste f time and don't eat them because later you will get gasses. (Last part might not be true for you)

When I was small I had to learn to speak English (moved from China to America) so I always got mixed up in some words like snake to stake. So when I heard drake I always thought of a snake. My parents said "Tonight we are going to have stake for dinner." I prossised it as "Tonight we are having snake for dinner" so I was so scared. When my mom heard me say to my friend "tonight we are going to have snakes for dinner" she corrected me and told me it was stake not snake.
