The River Person: A Short Story Part 1
So what we have here is a drawing I drew a while back. And if you read the title, it's the River Person from UnderTale. Now, it is my headcanon that the River Person is secretly a skeleton and is Sans and Papyrus' long lost mother.
And because it is my headcanon that Gaster is Papyrus and Sans' dad, that would make Heather (That's her name by the way), Gaster's long lost wife.
Which is, kinda sad if you think about it.
In my headcanon, during the time where monsters were being sent into the Underground, Heather and Gaster tried their best to stay together with their two sons, who were at the time, at the ages 3 years old for Sans, and 2 months old for Papyrus.
However, they got separated. Gaster, still holding on to his sons, franticly looking around for his wife, just can't seems to find her. Eventually, Gaster lost all hope into finding her again, and over the years, began to believe that she had died.
But that wasn't the case.
Heather got stuck in some rock formation in the Ruins. And when the monsters left the Ruins, she got left behind. So after a year for being in the cave system in the Ruins, she built herself a small house just on the riverbank near Snowdin.
She got herself a cloak and made herself a boat, and started to call herself, The River Person.
She hoped that, one day, she would be reunited with her family if she did this job. She started to learn things about the different monsters all through out the Underground, and started getting new friends. She would ask her passengers if they had seen Gaster. They would say no.
But after a year of the Barrier being broken, she finally reunites with her family.
...
And that's where I'm going to split it at. Sorry, but if it was any longer, you folks wouldn't read it.
Anyways, part 2 will come. Maybe even later today.
