Sergeant "Knight" Lawson entered into a laboratory where he was ordered to meet a skilled scientist. "Excuse me sir?" The hooded figure turned their chair to look at the soldier.

The soldier joked in his mind, 'This guy must like Halloween'.

"Do you happen to know a , Dr. Crynoberg?" The figure laughed and removed their hood. A man with an eyepatch, skin slightly colored red, and horns that seemed crystallized.

"You must be looking for me. I know, my appearance is a...well... off? But I assure you, I act like any normal person."

The sergeant slightly nodded from relief, "Yes, of course. I was tasked to ask you to join a force from the government and military." Dr. Crynoberg raised a brow.

"Can you explain further?" The sergeant sighed,

"They are looking for those who were part of paranormal experiments and are experiments themselves." Dr. Crynoberg raised his voice, "So because I looked like some other being, means I join this misfits thing!?"

The sergeant waved his arms, "No no-"

He laughed, "I am just joking. I am the only scientist who has learned about this more than other scientists." The sergeant grumbled at himself.

"By the way, what is your name?" "Call me Sergeant Knight. Full name is Knight Lawson."

"Well I will call you Sarge Son of the Law." Please do not call me-" "Well I like the name and you can't stop me."

The sergeant rolled his eyes, "Well I will call you Dr. Berg."

"Well I do not mind, Crynoberg is a mouthful when scolded." Sergeant Lawson nodded in agreement. "So who else is part?"

"We can head to the jail facilities or I will introduce to you one who has joined us already."

Dr. Berg smiled, "I need to get used to my new working area so we can head to the center of your operation." They rode a helicopter as they toured around the city.

"The city is such a beautiful sight to see," Dr. Berg said as he watched the city bellow.

"Do you not head out at night?" He shook his head, "People fear my appearance so I stay mostly at my office."

As they chatted, the helicopter landed at the site. As a figure walked up to the helicopter. "Oh no...."
