My brother and I are very good thieves, well that's what we were told. Our dad is a very greedy one. He is full on dragon but he can turn to his human form. Our mom can perform Magic but she died from a battle. We don't speak about her that much.

My brother being annoyed with my existence walks back to a cave that we found. We had a run in with authorities and it didn't go well so no one thinks that a cave was a home sweet home. Well except for us, dad just love them. My brother uses his metal claw to cut the deer meat in half. I'm an annoying small demon for him. Well if it wasn't for my tail then I wouldn't be nicknamed as such.

His skull "pets" created blue fire which made us warm and the meat cooked right away. We are around the Fire, "Should we be thanking deer for producing the meat?" "Since when we're you religious?" I finished the meat, "Since I'm a demon." He only scoffed, "Right, I'm gonna head out early morning. You guard the house." I stocked my tongue out, "Then what if I don't?"

He pointed the sharp end of his claw, "Then I will cutoff that annoying tongue of yours." He has been this grumpy after how many times he fought, he already lost an eye and an arm damnit. Guess he hates how much I made fun of him when I was a kid. I mean we were kids, he is much older than me, he should know better. I drank in some bar, forgot the name but who cares. Some guy, shorter than me sat next to ordering some pint. I grabbed the strongest drink, vodka. Drank a half of it.

"You must be drunk?" I looked to the shorter guy, sipping his drink. "And you are telling me that I am drunk?" He smiled, "Anders, a guy that is fired from a rich business." I raised my bottle, "I'm Azrael, the drunkard." He laughed, my insides felt heated. What is this feeling. "Well if want, you can drink this with me." He shook his head. "Naw, I would want to get back to girlfriend not drunk. Don't want her to get angry." I nodded and continued to drink the bottle until it was empty.

"Wanna head outside?" He nodded, he was a bit drunk before I gave him a small make out. Before we would go any further, someone knocked on dumpsters as we were on the back. We both turned to see Mr. Wetblanket. "What are doing with this poor man?" I answered, "Having 'fun'~ Wanna join~" He kissed my neck. "You two are drunk and leave him be."

"But can I at least take of my problem~" I watched as my drunkass brother grind against him. I palmed my forehead, "Fine, do it quickly. Don't want his lover to find out you fucked him before he did to them." He smiled and continued. I groaned and walked away. I climbed on a tree nearby, using my metal claw for balance. My brother thinks that everything is fine but he doesn't know how much I fought to keep them safe.

I looked as a car driving towards the bar. I looked closely and saw a woman driving. I feared that it was that man's girlfriend that my brother is fucking with. I jumped down and walked back where they were. My brother was helping him up. He patted my shoulder, "Just a quickie~" I watched as the girl asked if he was alright and he just nods. He looked back, staring at me. He went back to his car and I looked back to my brother who passed out.

I rolled my eye and pulled him back to our home. I sat outside, staring into the darkness of the woods. I hate dreaming, it only brings memories that I've repressed in all my years. Battles that I've won but lost a body part. And becoming a wanderer with my demon brother. He is half demon after all, he was summoned by my mother, my dad gave him the looks of a dragon. I never hated him. I just get annoyed with him, he does remind of what she said before she died.

'Protect your brother' And her life signs where gone. Before I knew it, it was morning and my brother slowly woke up. I crossed my arms, the metal made it a bit harder. "Good Morning Dear Brother~" "Take a bath, you smell like alcohol and sex." He smiled, "Thanks for you compliment~" He walked away to the river nearby. I rolled my eye and prepared breakfast. He came back with no smell and clothes clean.

"So we gonna steal money or what?" He chewed his food. "We gonna move out." He dropped his food and looked at me, "Seriously!? What gave it away this time!" I showed him a photo of him and the guy. "Oh..." "If you made quickly, none of this would happen." He stood up, "If you felt love for once then you would understand, you protector of a brother!" I slashed the area near us. The deer meat splashed blood on the side of my face.

"Do not use that against me. I have protected you from many things that you don't understand." "I am not a child anymore. I can handle things myself." I grabbed my stuff, "Then stay here, don't come looking for me...." I walked away as I felt his eyes watch me walk away.

"Fine, you asshole!" I grabbed my stuff walking away and heading towards the small city. I looked around, it looks amazing. I looked to see a house on a hill and walked towards it. Some argument is going inside. A door opened and a girl screamed at the person inside, "YOU ARE SUCH A USELESS BOYFRIEND!" The guy ran outside, "WAIT! COME BACK!" She drove off with a Mercedes. He dropped on the floor. It took me a moment to realize it was the guy in the bar, Anders? Yea Anders.

He turned to notice me, "Oh, uh. Hi, my girlfriend dumped me because of running out of money...." I growled, "She must some gold digger, she hasn't seen how great you are." He looked at me in shock. "You think I am great?" "Yea, it's her loss." He ushered me inside. "Thanks for the compliment and about last night..." I sat on the sofa near him, "What about it?" He rubbed the back of his neck, "Can we do it again? This time don't leave right away."

I smiled as pinned him down, "Of course but this time, we aren't drunk~" We started making out on the sofa.

Outside watching them was his brother, Ace. He promised his mother to protect him and he live out that promise. He will just watching a far, out of his brothers watch. He walked away, hiding behind the dense trees.
