Show Yourself
Soooo this is about my star wars oc again. Im in love with this song and it fits her a lot sooooo here we gooo. She didn't think she had the force like Ben did because she would never feel anything like he did. So this is after he left for training and she kept hearing a voice call to her but she didn't know what it was. They were a little older since this was kinda a little further in training so about 15
Delilah sat in the forest, staring at her hands. She sighed heavily. Why wasn't she like her brother? Her mother had the force and she was a twin. Maybe she just wasn't that special. Delilah always felt something from her uncle, like he didn't like one bit of her. Delilah looked at a rock that laid in the ground in front of her. She stuck her hand out and tried to focus on it. After a bit of focus, nothing happened. A voice harmonized in her ear, making her jump.
"You again?"
She mumbled, looking around for the source. A voice has been calling her for a few months after her birthday. She started walking farther away from her house. A feeling in her told her to go this way. Delilah knew what she was looking for was that way. Her parents were away on a mission for the Republic. She reached a small cave, the voice called again; Delilah walked into it. A sense of belonging hit her as she stood in the dark.
Every inch of me is trembling
But not from the cold
Delilah said softly as her breath puffed out in white smoke.
Something is familiar
Like a dream I can reach but not quite hold
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a flashlight she always kept with her, as her father told her to do.
I can sense you there
Like a friend I've always known
There was ancient writing on the wall that she recognized from some of the Jedi texts her uncle had at his house.
I'm arriving
And it feels like I am home
She had a sense of security, standing in the middle of the cave. She seemed to feel like she was in the right place.
I have always been a fortress
Cold secrets deep inside
Delilah had never spoken about these insecurities, she just put on a happy face for her brother when he learned the ways of the force.
You have secrets, too
But you don't have to hide
There was a tunnel that Delilah was drawn too. She started walking down it, illuminating the walls.
Show yourself
I'm dying to meet you
Delilah ran her fingers against the patterns that were carved into the wall.
Show yourself
It's your turn
She was in search of the voice that kept calling her. There was a reason it called her here and she didn't know why.
Are you the one I've been looking for
All of my life?
Maybe it was someone to teach her about herself. She didn't know why she was so different from her brother.
Show yourself
I'm ready to learn
Ah ah ah ah
Delilah called for the voice the same way it was calling to her.
Ah ah ah ah ah
She smiled brightly, running down the hall towards the voice.
I've never felt so certain
All my life I've been torn
Delilah watched as a blue glow floated in the air in front of her. She ran towards it.
But I'm here for a reason
Could it be the reason I was born?
Han would always tell her the was a reason that Leia had twins. That she was destined for something great.
I have always been so different
Normal rules did not apply
She had always been treated differently by her uncle which hurt her a lot since he was such a big force in her life. She stared at a doorway on a rock far above her.
Is this the day?
Are you the way
I finally find out why?
Something had told her to jump and trust her instincts. And she did. A rock flew up under her feet. Delilah smiled and jumped again, higher up than before.
Show yourself
I'm no longer trembling
She just pulled more rocks higher and higher.
Here I am
I've come so far
She kept jumping to each rock she pulled up towards the threshold.
You are the answer I've waited for
All of my life
She jumped to the last stable piece of the rock.
Oh, show yourself
Let me see who you are
The blue ball floated in front of pillars that were fallen on top of each other.
Come to me now
Open your door
Delilah walked towards it, flinging her hands in front of her. She made a motion of movement with her hands as two pillars went back into their normal spot.
Don't make me wait
One moment more
She did the same thing with the next set of pillars and smiled following the voice.
Oh, come to me now
Open your door
She walked into a dead end as she stared at two pillars stacked on top of each other, blocking a room. The blue ball floated behind them. Delilah quickly threw the pillars away from the doorway.
Don't make me wait
One moment more
She walked in the middle of an empty room that looked like a part of a Jedi temple. She stared at some of the statues that stood in there. How long has this been here?
Where the north wind meets the sea
Ah ah ah ah
Delilah quickly looked around after hearing her mother's voice. It sang an old lullaby Leia sang to her when she couldn't fall asleep when Han was on a mission.
There's a river
Ah ah ah ah
Memories from old battles that Han had told her about and how Leia would basically save him, flashed all across the room.
Full of memory
Come, my darling, homeward bound
Delilah quickly shot around, seeing a blue image of her mother. Leia was smiling while looking at her.
I am found
Tears started falling down Delilah's cheeks as she realized what had happened. Leia and Delilah stood there staring at each other. A yellow light illuminated behind Leia. Delilah felt drawn to the light. Her body just moved to go see what it was.
Show yourself
It was a yellow kybercrystal.
Step into your power
Her mother and another voice spoke in her ear as she leaned down grabbing it. It easily came out and sat in her hand.
Grow yourself
Into something new
You are the one you've been waiting for
All of my life
Oh, show yourself
Delilah stared at the kybercrystal as all the lights in the room faded away. Tears still streamed down her face as she smiled. Delilah quickly ran back the way she came, seeing all the things she had moved. She stared at the rocks that were floating in the air. She jumped back on them and ran back. She couldn't find the entrance anymore. Her flashlight started to flicker. Delilah whimpered as the light turned off. She ran up to one of the walls and slammed her fist on it.
"H-Help!"
She cried out. Her heart stopped as she heard a lightsaber ignite behind her. The girl's hands started shaking as a lightsaber appeared on her belt and the kybercrystal was gone. Delilah quickly turned around seeing her brother standing behind her with a red lightsaber in his hand.
"Ben! I'm so glad your here!"
She called out and started running towards him, but was thrown back against the wall. She coughed and looked back up at him. There was something different about him. His aura was different. Something deep inside Delilah told her to protect herself as he started walking towards her.
"You'll always be beneath me, Delilah."
Ben said in a cold voice. Delilah quickly pulled out her blaster, shooting at him out of instinct. Of course, he blocked it with his lightsaber. Ben lifted up his hand threw the blaster out of her hand.
"I-I can't fight you!"
Delilah yelled at him and backed against the wall. He walked closer to her and held his lightsaber up and started to swing down at her. Someone grabbed her arm and pulled her backward. Her eyes squinted at the bright light of day.
"I told you she wasn't ready."
"Lila, hey it's me."
Delilah looked at the person holding her, it was her dad. He smiled down at her and wiped the tears that fell down her face. Her hand stung and she looked down, blood trickled down her palm.
"It was too much for her! She has no idea what she's capable of!"
Leia yelled at her brother. He just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"I have training I need to attend to."
Luke said and walked away from the three. Leia sighed and ran to her husband's side. Han grabbed her hand.
"You gotta open it, princess."
He said and she slowly opened her hand. The kybercrystal had started to burry into her skin since she squeezed her hand so tight. Leia's eyes widened as she stared at the crystal. Han sighed and quickly picked up his daughter. He swiftly ran towards the medical bay they had at the academy.
"How did I get here?"
"We have no idea, Luke felt your presence here unexpectedly. So he called us to come to get you."
Han said to her as nurses started to tend to her wound. Leia stood next to her and looked at the crystal as they pulled it out of her hand. Delilah yelped at the pain and squeezed onto Han's hand tightly. They wrapped her hand in a bandage and she just stared at her hand. Luke walked into the bay and looked at his niece. Leia pointed at the yellow crystal and Luke's eyes widened.
