OH MY GOD.

I seriously can't believe how well this works for HATE!
HATE is a lot more than just hatred.

It's a ton of bad emotions all at once. Regret. Injustice. Fear. Sadness. Rage. Loss. Grief.

All the negative emotions you can think of.

They come together to make HATE.

HATE is aware of its existence as a plague. How it is nothing more than an unintentionally created disease that makes people suffer.

That brings back its want to kill everything. It was made by a creator forced to kill his own creation. His own son. The pain and agony from that sparked a being that does nothing but put others through that same level of unimaginable agony.

The tree of souls. A large tree. At its roots is DETERMINATION.

But DETERMINATION can do a lot more than just good...

Motived by grief...

It can do evil.

The Monsters were never monsters. They were just different.

Their discrimination by the hands of humans would've eventually caused HATE to spread to them, too.

But luckily....

If the souls can reunite, LOVE can vanquish HATE. Not forever, but for a really damn long time.

And this is where Rosie comes in.

The tree is dying. It needs to survive.

And so, it sprouts one of the biggest leaves it has ever sprouted. A green and yellow leaf. One who is kind enough to help those in need, and one who is just enough to know that kindness isn't always the answer.

From threats like the Scarlet King and HATE, the Soul tree needed help. So it grew bigger and bigger leaves. Strong humans were needed.

And over on the Monster tree...

It was starting to sprout color of its own.

More than just monsters were on that tree. Demons, angels, all sorts of creatures. And they had soul traits, too.

Together, the trees will endure. They always have, they always will.
