To expand upon my last post...

I imagine 682 has also time traveled alot in OWAR, too. This is most likely what lead to so many AUs, due to 682 trying to set right what went wrong.

Why does he time travel so much, you ask?

Rosie keeps dying before the end of her lifespan. 682 loves her to bits and it keeps eating him up inside every time she dies and thus the constant time travel.

He either uses an SCP or the box each time to do it, too.

He loves her so much, it utterly breaks his to find out she died.

Rosie finds out about this habit of 682, and confronts him.

"682, brother, please.....you gotta stop time traveling! Seriously, you could end up breaking the time line! You've already made a sh*t ton of branches! So quit it with the time traveling! I know it hurts you deeply every time I die.....but this time, I will make sure that I stay with you, even if I die before my time is up. Don't worry, 682....I'll always love you and be there for you. Just no more time travel....okay? Please....no more....it breaks my heart to know my death has driven you insane over and over again....to the point you've caused hundreds if not thousands of split off points in the time line...I am not the first Rosie you have met....nor will I be the last...but I know you love me all the same....and I will love you all the same no matter how I look. 682....no more."

682 just...breaks, at that. He breaks down sobbing in front of Rosie.

Now he knows he will never truly lose her.

He can accept his fate in dignity.
