i would not read this if i shipped giyuu and tanjiro 👀

I can tell that you probably wont listen to me but hear me out! Giyuu x Tanjiro is a little, uhhh. Disgusting. Let's see, by the end of the manga Tanjiro is 15 and Giyuu is age 21 by the end of chapter 28. People ship them together.

If you are human, you should know that people above the age of 18 should not date people under 18. Now I already told you Tanjiro and Giyuu's age, but notice the key words. Giyuu is 21 by the END OF CHAPTER 21 and Tanjiro is 15 BY THE END OF THE MANGA. That's a rather large age difference if you ask me. How old was Tanjiro at the end of chapter 21 you might be asking? Tanjiro was 13. That- just why do people ship them.

Back to what I said about how people above the age of 18 shouldn't date anyone under 18 years old. Yes, Demon Slayer takes place around 1930, but still. Do you get what I mean? People are shipping a minor with someone who is 24. Plus, you can clearly tell that Giyuu isn't very stable because of the loss of his very close friend whose name i will not say bc spoilers for episode 5 of the anime ;)

It's kind of disturbing to see these people who ship them together despite their age difference. It makes me feel awkward since one person I met said that they should have kids. (just why) I have nothing against LGBTQ+ but Tanjiro x Giyuu just makes me want to crawl into a hole until the ppl who ship them are long gone. People also ship Iguro and Tanjiro. Has there been a SINGLE time where Iguro has thought Tanjiro actually deseves to be on the face of the earth? (other than the last few chapters where he is about to *manga spoiler teehee* and he is FORCED to help Tanjiro?)
