*Lilly's POV*

My white ear flicked when I heard a clatter of s trash can making contact with the cement. I walked down the alley cautiously and I started at a black cat.

"You're so cute!" I squealed when I picked it up and hugged it. It meowed in my grasp and I smiled as my tail flicked and it purred against me.

"Hey Neko Girl," I sighed at Rin's voice. He could be so annoying!

"Look I found a kitty!" I smiled when I shoved it in his face and he took a small step back and I smiled wide.

"Isn't he cute!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah," he mumbled.

"Wanna keep him big brother?!" I asked hopefully.

"Fine but you're taking care of it," He huffed and I nodded as I skipped after him when we went to our apartment.

I ran in first and he sighed when I shoved him.

"Wah! You're so cute!" I squealed as I laid on my stomach and my kitty ears flicked as my tail lashed

"Rin he's so cute!" I squealed when I hugged him and smiled.

"Name it," he huffed.

"Midnight!" I purred and It meowed at me and licked my cheek.

"My idiot Neko sister got a cat now," Rin huffed and I sat up

"You're a mean big brother," I whined

"Watch it kitty cat," he huffed and I yawned

"Go to bed. Its getting late anyways," He muttered.

"Come on Midnight!" I smiled when I jumped up and ran to my room. I changed into pajamas with kitties on them and I leaped into my bed and smiled when the cat laid across my side. He was so fluffy...

"Midnight! Rin! Come on!" I called and he ran down and Midnight jumped in my bag and purred. His left ear was half torn from protecting me from a dog when it attacked.

"We're going to pick up some treats!" I smiled when I ran out. He purred as he watched the city move and Rin sighed when he caught up with me. This cat changed our lives... Rin even smiled more!!
