I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS.

In all seriousness, I love the show so freaking much, but like it put me through so much emotional trauma because I got so attached to the characters and they went through so much shit. I mean Shiro was my favorite, I love him, AND THEY WOULDN'T LEAVE HIM THE HELL ALONE!!! I mean the show really did start out just because the Galra were like "man, for no reason in particular, fuck this dude." (Also, I watched the show at not the greatest time in my life???)

Also, Season 8? Don't know her.

Seriously though, the writing at the end just went way off kilter. I don't think it's their fault though, it's because the higher ups decided it should be a kids show even though it's CLEARLY NOT MEANT TO BE ONE. Trying to write inside the guidelines of a kid's show while dealing with dark topics just gets messy real quick, and I think that's what happened. Not necessarily the writers fault, they were trying their best with what they had. Although there was no need to get so philosophical at the end-

I DO, however, blame the show writers for doing Shiro so dirty and being like "HE'S PART OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY!" and then giving him an asshole boyfriend who was on screen for 3 minutes, then died, then had him marry some dude we didn't even know in the e n d c r e d i t s. And usually, I'd say maybe the higher ups were trying to tone down the gay, but like....She-Ra??? Exists?????

AlsO, to the people who sent death threats to the show writers because Klance never became a thing, actually scREW YOU. LIKE, WTH? I'm so sOrrY that two FICTIONAL CHARACTERS u wanted to get together didn't get together, and the writers decided to go in a direction that frankly I saw them going in from the beginning, and s u r e it would be nice to have some good lgbtq rep because they failed with Shiro, but does that really warrant fVckING DEATH THREATS???
GET A L I FE PEOPLE. Write all the Klance fanfics you want but don't tell people to kill themselves over it.

ALL OF THAT ASIDE, I LOVE THIS SHOW! And they mostly did a really good job, I mean, freaking chef's kiss to the art style, and the animation, and the really dynamic and loveable characters! So goood!
