Forest Fires

There currently 50 forest fires burning on the west coast and in Oregon, there are quite a few.
There's one massive one burning in the gorge and a bunch of other small ones, and in the Willamette National Forest alone, 16 fires are burning. The ash is so bad that in some parts of Oregon, people are having to wear masks. Our area, which is right across from Oregon, is getting a bunch of ash and smoke too.

This picture was taken at 7:40 in summer and it's still this dark.
The camera adjusts to light levels but the sky is actually this weird brown color and the light levels are weird.
You can look at the sun now because it's being covered in ash and it's all weird and red.

The weird stuff on the ground in that picture is ash.
I've been coughing a bunch because of all of the ash.
No physical activity outside is advised.
The fire in the gorge recently jumped over to our side, Washington, and the east side of Washougal, the town next to us in level 2 of evacuation.
If you don't know what the levels are, level 3 means be prepared to evacuate, level 2 is be completely packed and ready to go if needed, and level 1 is get the heck out of there.
I'm a little scared!
I hope the fire stops heading towards us.

Bye, frensicles!
