The Realism Theory

Now I'm sure there is a theory ot there exactly like this, probably better, and called something different. I don't care I'm doing it!

Recently (And by recently I mean three months ago) I have seen allot about Five Nights at Freddy's. Heck, Five Night's at Freddy's 2 just came out! And strangely I had not even heard of Five Nights at Freddy's until I watched a decoded video for the Gravity Falls episode 'Soos and the Real Girl' where the theme of the pizza parlor was a Five Nights at Freddy's feel. After that, a video on a channel I watch posted about Five Nights at Freddy's! *Finally copies the words Five Nights at Freddy's* Then a week later, the same channel posted a video about Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Next thing I knew  Five Nights at Freddy's stuff was EVERYWHERE! Even my cousin tried to get me to play it! What I'm getting here is that life has a way of throwing the oddest coincidences at you. Or is it your mind?

My theory is that when you see something you think is small, become giant in a few weeks, your mind automatically thinks it's because of the small first instant you saw or heard it. When, in reality, it has been big along and you have just never heard of it because you're so anti-social and don't browse the web enough... Not really.

That's just a small part of my theory. After I watched that one video from that channel, I didn't sleep that night. I was so scared something was going to come eat me in the middle of the night. Even now, months after I've seen it and am now over, I am looking behind my back to make sure there isn't some possessed animatronic trying to eat my face off. Heck, I wouldn't even leave my room without a giant bat! And this is when the theory comes into place. The theory is that when your mind is introduced to how real something you clearly know is fiction can be, it makes you believe it's real. With me, being the dorky nerd I am, I role play with anything I watch, write, draw, read, you name it. SO when I watched Danny Phantom and started to plan out my fanfiction for it, it became more real to me. I would walk out of my room expecting to see a transparent, green pile of ectoplasm when there will never be something there. But the problem with that is, Danny Phantom has a villain but a hero to deal with the villain, so I have less of a reason to be scared. Plus it's a cartoon it doesn't look very real. BUT, in  Five Nights at Freddy's not only is the art and animation so good you feel like it's real but... there is no hero. There is nobody to save you if Golden Freddy attacks. You're alone to fight for yourself. You are your own hero. That's the worst part.
