This is going to be about the first concert of my ninth grade school year.
My birthday is on December 12th, and the concert was on the 13th.
So on my birthday I didn't go anywhere, or anything like that.
All I really did was stay home and go walking with my cousin.
Me and my cousin go walking and come back everything's fine until later that night.

Later that night I start getting hot, like being outside all day during the summer.
So I get up, grab some shorts and a tank top, and change.
I lay back down and I'm freezing, like a child's brain after they ate something super cold.
I just roll over, not saying anything to anyone.
My cousin comes over and asks
"Sy? What's wrong, are you alright?"
I roll over, facing her, and say
"No, not really."
She sits down on my bed and asks me
"What's wrong?"
I tell her
"I'm running a fever."
She leaves, and gets my mom.

My mom comes in with the thermometer, puts it in my mouth, it beeps, and she takes it out and says
"101. Let's check it again later."
She kisses my forehead, and leaves.
I get woken up again sometime around 3am by my dad and as son as I'm up he says
"Put this in your mouth."
He puts the thermometer in my mouth, and takes it out when it beeps.
"99. You're fine."
He says, and leaves to go back to work.
The next morning my mom asks me if I want to go to school, and I tell her yes.
So I went to school, and came back home.

~Time skip to late 5pm~
(We're supposed to be at the concert at 6)

I tell my mom that I don't feel well, and she takes my temperature
"103.8. Sy you aren't going to the concert."
I say
"I really wanted to go."
And turn over to go to sleep.
I was very upset.
It would've been my first time playing the bass for a concert, and I wasn't able to go.
I cried a little.
But yeah I had to stay home for the first concert of my ninth grade year.
😭😭😭😭😞😞

But yeah.
