Fanfics and writing online

Okay, as Wattpad and many other websites or apps like this allows many to post their ideas, right?

So then, it should be all great to see many post their own ideas that they made up themselves, or make the use of another's in how or what they want the story to be.

I don't mind that, to see the creativity of many others in this big, yet small world we live in.

My problem being is just the English. Not the verbal language, but the writing.

*Takes a deep breath*

Only cringefest that I hate the most is of people not using the correct English writing.

For instance: 'I'm sure they're dog will be found...'

See the error? The incorrect use of 'there're' rather, it should be 'their'.

Of course I'm sure I'm bound to have errors myself, but errors that I have not learned of yet.

However the common errors I see are common, and simple mistakes.

You can counter with 'That it's just the internet not that it really matters.'

Sure it's the internet, but the only reason I despise of it is that I really, really enjoy the plot of the story. Yet it's a story with common errors.

Only reason why I don't speak up about it, is that many people take it differently. Unless they explicitly claim that they will take reasonable criticism I will say something (as for me as well, see any errors in my stories, go ahead and tell me! Unless you are one of those people who just hates me for reasons beyond me).

Otherwise, wouldn't you be angered that someone found of your errors, but to later find out they are correct and feel ashamed/embarrased?

Actually, thinking of it while writing this, many here (I presume) use Wattpad itself to write their stories. Concluding that most wrtitings (with the author's knowledge with writing) may contain many errors.

My advice for those like this, is to find a writing program that will help you detect the errors for you (the more common ones that it can find for you). No need to worry of paying anything, there are some websites etc. that are free.

My recomendation (as I use it too) is Google Docs. For my personal reasons, helps with spelling errors, easy to use, you can share it with another Google user of your works (especially if you plan on doing a collaberation as I am doing one, and it helps), and it's mobile! Able to download from the application store (not sure on all devices) and you'll be able to work on it on the go. Worried of data useage? Well you can also work it with airplane mode, or no 4G at all - works offline, and saves the offline file and updates the former when you Wi-fi or 4G back.

However, the most cringefest for me... are the ones who use what I call "Lazy wording". The use of just 'U' 'Y', 'Lol' and along that line, just why.

Unless the character is using a phone, and is a teen, or some big acrynom of the bad guy's invention, just why.

I mean just... *sigh in frustration*

Okay, okay, I wouldn't mind that if you just literally made a story for laughs and giggles. But if you happen to be the one that has a brilliant plot, the best one that I have ever seen... you just ruined everything with your english.

I mean the one thing that goes with this is the Wierd Al video I have with this. So enjoy as I'm just done with this, goodbye till next time...
