today was more ok then yesterday so i'm glad for that

i started working on my history research paper (oops) anD ITS SO INTERESTING YAYYY

my topic is japanese american internment camps and ugh it really hits home

like it's probably the biggest public event of asian american racism and it is so impactful and i love it because of that but it also makes me cry a lot so ahhhh (my close cousins are japanese american and i know someone's grandmother who was in manzanar which is crazy)

i got picked up from school and my dad told me that we were going to get boba and then go to the library for homework and i was like YASSSSSSS

so then! we picked up my bro and went to get boba

and guess what

WE FORGOT THE RESTAURANT DOESNT OPEN ON MONDAYS AHHHHH MY H E A R T

AOTD: ok sorry for the depressing questions first of all oops. second, i think the japanese american interment camps were one of the most terrible things the government of america has ever done. i mean, it's basically our own "nazi germany" moment, however thank god we didn't have death camps. but still. it was extremely racist and unjust and should have never happened.

AOTD: NOW ABOUT WORLD WAR TWO! it's horrible, but it's kinda interesting. one of the worst things other than the japanese american camps was the holocaust. oh boy it really really really really hurts my heart to this about it. last year, my english teacher made us do extensive research on it because we read anne frank's diary and the boy in the striped pajamas (THAT ONE MADE ME CRY TOO HARD), and so now whenever i think about the holocaust, it really hurts. it was so horrible, so just like crazy to think about. who would ever do that?! like seriously i hope the holocaust never happens again
