where his hand comforts me against the cold

i want to lie under the stars
and just forget about everything,
just bask in the beauty and light of the white circles
with someone else who loves them just as much as i do

i want to gaze at the stars
in wonder
and hear the quiet whispers wrapped in jackets and hats
that one only hears when stargazing

i want to be with the stars,
floating around in the peaceful darkness
sparked by chemicals and fire,
touched by the softness of the beautiful sky below

but i cannot be with the stars,
no matter how much i want
so

i want to kiss a boy under the stars
and run my hands through his hair,
remembering how much he also loves the stars,
pressing my face into his sweatshirt
and smelling sweet fragrance that reminds me of the stars
and how gorgeous they are

1) im sorry i haven't posted a week summary chapter yet ahiufsfhasufiha i was gone all weekend on a boat tour thing ( ill explain later but if you want to know the stories then ask awaaaayyyy ) aND the boat had no wifi and i had no data soO i apologize a lot and ahhhhh dalvie feels really bad

2) this poem was inspired by last night when i went on a night boat ride and the sky was the clearest i have ever seen and i could see all the stars and constellations and it just took my breath away.

like seriously, i looooove stargazing bc it only happens on cold nights, full of whispers and blankets and just gazing at the gigantic universe in awe with all the little lights up in the smooth darkness and ahlfalfhdfad
