--Third Person View--

Saffron sat, his back leaned against a tree, tears streaming down his face as he called his mother, staring at him through a window, happy for him for making friends. He sung, softly and calmly

"Through the window
I see you waiting
You are smiling
'Cause I'm coming"

Saffron looked up at the sky, raindrops hitting the ground and his face. Memories of his older brother, Ray, laughing at him.

"Your eyes are a story
An ocean of memories
Pictures of faces and places"

Saffron stood up, picking up a rose, as Baby the Bluejay landed on his shoulder.

"And all of the things
That make us feel like we have it all"

Saffron walked, remembering Naya at last, his, Jasper, and Ruby's dear friend who had been dead for six years now, the flashes of joy, laughs, and moments that could make anyone smile.

"All of the times
That make us realize
We have it all
We have it all"

Saffron walked, slowly stopping, as he recalled seeing Naya's dead body in front of him, Ruby breaking down with tears, Jasper trying to explain.

"Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful"

Then, memories of the.. Funeral came, many crying, many words that meant nothing to him, Ruby, or Jasper.

"Living and dying
Laughing or crying"

Saffron soon stopped, remembering the moment he had to choose between Ruby and Jasper, he felt as though Naya's spirit was watching over, begging him to be smart about it.

"If we have the whole world or have nothing
I know there are long nights"

Saffron remembered him and Jasper, as they grew older, as he grew weaker and she grew stronger.

"But we'll make it
With every sunrise comes a new light"

Saffron walked into the forest, recalling him and Jasper having fun.

"And all of the things
That make us feel like we have it all"

Saffron's frown turned into a smile, as he remembered when he and Jasper were told they were Demigods.

"All of the times
That make us realize
We have it all"

Saffron stopped, his smile bright as he recalled first meeting his dad, Set.

"We have it all
Life is beautiful

Saffron started to tell himself, that life was beautiful, so he sung his joy.

"A father's love
A wedding dance
New Year's dreams"

A smile was growing on his face, and Baby the Bluejay chirped along.

"A toast with friends
A soldier coming home from war
The faith, the hope of so much more"

Saffron saw animals coming out from where they were to see what was going on.

"A brand new life, a mother's prayer
Shooting stars, ocean air"

Saffron sat down, letting the animals come to him, he pet a rabbit as it neared, and butterflies were flying around him and Baby.

"A lover's kiss, and hard goodbyes
Fireworks, Christmas lights"

Saffron could tell the animals were getting cozy, as the rabbit fell asleep on his lap, birds in trees, other animals just being near.

"These are things that make us feel alive
These are the times that make us realize
Life is beautiful
Life is beautiful"

Saffron leaned his back against the tree alongside his head, slowly falling asleep, as he sung.

"These are things that make us feel alive
Life is beautiful
These are the times that make us realize"

Saffron was now asleep peacefully, a chuckle was heard as Set was standing in front of Saffron, sure, Set seemed evil but he did want to be a good enough dad to Saffron. "Let us get you back to your cabin." Set said, pushing the rabbit off his son, ruining the rabbit's sleep, but Set didn't care, he lifted his son up and walked back to his children's cabin.

I had fun writing this, and I imagine Set tries to be a good dad to make up to Saffron for not being there, so Set is a good dad.
