So these are just some things about Rping that I hate. This has more to do with the Oc's people make for the Rp's that I have. Now once in a while I don't mind seeing these coming up but when it happens constantly...yeah...

1: My Oc's crush is (Main Character of Series) or (Popular Character of Series)

So this is very common, when I had a Naruto Rp a while back most of the people either had their crush as Sasuke or Naruto. It's like no one else existed. This was common when I had a RWBY Rp as well, the crushes were either Ruby, Weiss, Blake, or Yang. Now I'm a bit of a hypocrite here since I have made my Oc's crush one of the 4 but I did it because of a different reason, when I Rp with Akira on other people's Rp's then his crush is usually Weiss or Ruby, Ruby because Akira is a wolf faunus and it matches with the story of Red Riding Hood, which is what Ruby is based on, so it's kinda irony in a way. Weiss because I think it works because both of their personalities clash with one another's, with both being hard-headed and stubborn. I'm not saying I'm justified but I just want people to have more originality than to just pick a character as a crush than just for their personal interest in that character.

2: Oc's with the same powers as another character, or is a sibling of that character

Now I'm also a hypocrite here, since my Oc Arial Black has the same powers as Sans, but that's literally because he is Sans from another Au, but Arial is still his own character because he's more jaded than Sans. I just feel like no one put any effort into their Oc if their powers were just copy and pasted from another character. I've seen Natsu's sister Oc's that are Fire Dragon Slayers, I've seen Gray's sister Oc's that are Ice Makers (For some reason they like making sister Oc's of main characters....). Now some sibling Oc's are done well as long as they are distinctly different from the sibling, because I've seen some pretty shitty ones, trust me. They're either a carbon copy of their sibling or just slightly different. I just don't like seeing sibling characters all that often because it feels like you're setting that character up for something they have to live up to. I don't really mind children Oc's because they don't really have anything to work off of, if they don't live up to their parent then it's not that big a deal, but sibling Oc's are different in the fact they have to be just as great if not better than a character that has already established themselves in a series. It's just my personal feelings

3: Annoying Characters

I swear when I see characters that just do obnoxious things in Rp I just wanna stop. There are Oc's that are literally just annoying and nothing else, I can tell that's not what the person is going for but it still annoys me. I'm not gonna list specific names but it's happened often to me where I've seen characters so bad I wanted to punch the maker right in the face. 

Like I said these are just my personal opinions, don't take them too harshly. I'm not saying that my Oc's are better than anyone else's I just want people to at least put more thought into the characters they make and follow the rules of the Rp's they join, if certain things aren't allowed, then accept that. That's pretty much it.
