okay so originally i wasn't going to get involved with this because i don't get involved with drama usually but this had to be said.

first of all, the thing that already has been said many times, yes, the fact that matpat gave the pope a copy of undertale is absolutely hilarious, but please go watch the video about it. there's actually a lot of meaning behind why that was the gift he decided to bring when he was invited to meet the pope with his fellow youtubers.

and the thing that needs to be said:

MATPAT DID NOT SAY THAT HOMOPHOBIA AND RACISM WERE ON THE SAME LEVEL AS STEREOTYPING AND DISLIKING GAMERS.

HE STATED THAT IT IS A THEORY THAT THEY ARE CAUSED BY THE SAME REASON.
