An island (and tribe) of Hawai'i ~

This is the 1p, Kawena.

He has the ability to in a sense turn into fire. Or a version of it at least...
It renders him immune to most physical attacks as well as heat, fire, lava, and magma. He can also absorb heat and fire (though not lava or magma, but he can swim in it without harm!)

And this is the 2p, Nāwai.

He has a similar ability though with water. He can shift into a watery form, turn anything he touches into a liquid form at will (or vice versa), and has hydrokinesis. He is very vulnerable to electricity based magic and direct contact with such while in water form.
