Here's some little facts about the Teotihuacans~

Aapo and Akna were once married but had a falling out and are no longer so. Though they are still friends.

A'Tabai and Zeltzin loved each other but never knew the other di. A'Tabai was just about to ask for her hand when she had her "incident" and went insane, forgetting a good chunk of her past in the process.
A'Tabai cares so deeply for her that he abandoned his duties to search for a cure. Only Zeltzin knows how to reverse what she did to herself, but no longer cares to do so. So A'Tabai has taken it upon himself to help her.
Only one other person knows of this predicament: Yaotl. This is the reason Yaotl left in the first place, to help A'Tabai. Though Yaotl was sworn to secrecy about it.

But! Though Yaotl can't talk about this or mention it in any way, there are a few specific people he can speak of it with. However, that is only if they ask the right questions and if A'Tabai is unable to find a cure on his own within a specified amount of time.
