RIP Ended Fandoms

Warning: SENTIMENTAL STUFF BEYOND THIS POINT →

Dear The Hunger Games, Divergent, TFIOS, Fairy Tail, and a lot more,

It is with my sorrow that I am writing to ya guys to say thanks to you. Thanks for making me so obsessed with you fandoms that sometimes I even mentally broke down crying, laughed for an hour, or stopped reading/watching just so I could stare at a wall for ten seconds in shock. Now, I want to congratulate the fandoms individually.

The Hunger Games was-and still is-the first book that actually sparked me to think up fanfiction to write. Your plots are so good that I read the first book for up to an hour without doing anything else-with breathing being an exception. Your characters don't suck, either. They taught me the lesson of fighting for your beliefs and rights, and every reader saw plenty of that through the actions of Katniss, Peeta, Finnick, even Cato and Rue. No one on Earth is just a pawn, a piece, in a larger game. We're all individuals, and we all speak different languages that show our personalities and thoughts.

The Fault in Our Stars ... where do I begin here? You're basically a wildfire, carrying flames of words that are either hilarious or emotional, but all have a deeper meaning to them. My family tell me that I need to snap back into reality so that you can actually dive into your thoughts and analyze the real world around me before growing up and being a part of it. But guess what? TFIOS does that as well, in addition to showing me that you should be happy and survive so you can tell your story. Does that make sense? Okay? Okay.

Divergent told me that it's perfectly okay to be different, and that only the "weirdos" of the group can save everyone. Your characters are also super funny in dialogue and actions, like the Marlene Uriah muffin scene. The factions were a really good idea, and how they treat each other is pretty amusing. Take that part in Four, where the Dauntless stormed the Erudite in their building, and we all got to see how crappy the Erudite are at their running skills. I mean, just imagine a bunch of nerdy looking guys trying to kill you with glasses, pens, and notebooks.

Then, there's Fairy Tail. Dude, before I watched it I was like, "Plot summary of all anime: Punching people, characters with big eyes, and sexy body parts." Feel free to hit me if you want. But then when I finally decided to watch the first episode out of boredom, I started laughing so hard and got addicted, especially the Natsu eating scene. It also hinted to me that we should keep living through even the toughest situations, life will get better.

In conclusion, I'm pretty sure that everyone is traumatized that your stories came to an end, but hey, you fandoms did an awesome job of showing us your purposes, and hopefully readers in the future will remember you guys forever.

Tris Prior: Gee, the feels!

Katniss Everdeen: Eh, at least we're being recognized.

Augustus Waters: You forgot to mention the color orange, or rather I should say the word Oranjee, and the food as well, in our paragraph.

Natsu Dragneel: Oranges? Food? Someone called?

Peeta Mellark: I think he said bread ...

Four/Tobias Eaton: Idiots, you clearly heard what Gus said. *gets pummeled by two dudes, one waving a baguette and the other trying to summon fire but failing because of food*

Hazel Grace Lancaster: But seriously, thanks for well, thanking us. We appreciate it.

Lucy Heartfilia: Well, at least some of us ...

Oh yeah and also on a side note, I encourage Rick Riordan and JK Rowling to keep updating their series to say that the fandoms will go on forever.

And yup, that's all I wanna say, bye
