This is the cover I made for iambibliophilic 's book "Gifted Ones."
Each aspect of the cover means something.
The top set of eyes is looking around for danger and has the golden glimmer that the Gifted have. They represent Chase and his desire to protect Haven.
The amulet in the middle represents, obviously, the amulet they all look for.
The fireball, gust of wind, and bird all represent the three types of gifted ones. The fireball represents the Mages, the gust of wind represents the Flyers, and the bird represents the Shifters.
The bottom set of eyes are normal, and looking up in wonder at all of the Gifted magic. These represent Haven and her wonder of the Gifted world.
I tried to make the cover look cool, and I hope I didn't make it too weird or crowded...
