welp here it is
Heres my story. Again. Nothing here is canon.
*Prologue* Hi, my name is Carson. I'm a 22 year old scientist and a robot technician from the year 2083. I live in the U.S. inhabited by humans and robots coexisting together in peace. Until one day, where a mysterious being unleashed a disastrous substance. Turning humans ill, and causing robots to go haywire. This is my story about how me and my robot partner Bolt saved this world from complete destruction. *End of Prologue*
I was beginning to worry more and more. I had heard even more stories on the news on how more things are being infected with this substance. It's been spreading like wildfire. Strangely there are no samples of this substance. I lived alone, well, kinda. I live in my lab, and I'm a robot technician. I created a robot that seemed very human, yet not even close to looking as one. I named him Bolt, as he was as fast as a bolt of lightning.
“Morning Carson!” Bolt greeted me as passed by. Bolt was an animatronic. I created him to experiment with human understanding about the world around us, and he exceeded my expectations with flying colors. He was an aqua blue fox, with a red bandana tied to his head. He wears a solid brown pair of shorts with a red bowtie. And an eyepatch on his right eye, but having emerald green eyes. Bolt is very outgoing, yet caring being. He plays his saxophone in his spare time as well.
“Did you hear? More things are being infected. ” I told Bolt as he walked back up to me. He had a slightly concerned look on his face. “Really?” He replied. “I wonder if anybody would step up to help.” I gave Bolt a sad look. “I don't think so Bolt.” I responded. Bolt’s face lit up. Signaling that he had an idea that would change everything.
“What if we did something about it!” Bolt exclaimed. I was shocked, and replied. “Bolt, there's no way the two of us could take down this evil mastermind!” Bolt had a determined face. I knew from that moment on that Bolt would not let down a challenge, no matter how ridiculous or impossible it may seem.
“Carson, you just need to have hope!” Bolt exclaimed. “With our powers combined, there's no way that guy can take us down!” I stayed quiet, unsure how to respond. “But we could very well get killed.” I sighed. “But at least we would have tried..” Bolt countered. I knew Bolt won't back down, nor would go alone. I only had one choice. And it took a lot of courage to do so.
“What are we waiting for then? Let’s get going!” I chirped. Bolt nodded and went to grab his saxophone. The reason he is doing that is because I had designed it to transform into a flamethrower with a press of a button. A bit much, but it works well.
I decided to wear my regular outfit. My green turtleneck with my white coat over it. With my black pants and long black boots. Once I adjusted my robotic arm, I was ready to go. I met Bolt outside, who was eager to discuss a plan.
“Carson! I have a plan!” Bolt exclaimed. I was shocked to find that he already had a plan. So I was curious. “What is it?” I asked Bolt. “With my sensors I can sense movement. I think the villain’s hideout is underground.” Bolt explained. “How do you know?” I asked him. “ Because, if I were a villain, I would go underground to avoid detection. It's logic.”
I nodded as it did make sense. Bolt smiled, proud of his plan. I had an idea of my own as well. “ Bolt, I have a place where it would be a good place to start.” Bolt gave me a curious look, but followed me without saying anything. I led him to a cave. Then he spoke up. “Why are we at a cave?” Bolt questioned. Me, knowing exactly why, responded. “It would be easier to detect motion closer down to where we suspect the villain may be. I answered, with a smirk on my face.
Bolt looked surprised, but nodded as he went into sensor mode. After about 20 minutes he went back to his normal mode detecting something. “Carson! I found something!” Bolt called to me. I sped up to where he was standing, and was intrigued as to what he found. “There be a hollow sound coming from here! Id bet this is an entrance!”
I was full of confidence with his words. “Allow me to break in!” I activated spike mode on my arm, giving me sharp spikes on my knuckles. I briskly smashed the hand to the hollow point. The hollow part crumbled at the impact, opening our entrance in. “Gah! Ow..” I winced in pain after putting my arm back to normal mode. Even though my robotic arm is fake, some of my nerves still connect to it, so I feel impacts on hard objects. Just hard objects though. The arm is immune to heat and cold. But continuing on.
“Hah! Nailed it on it's head!” Bolt cheered. “You alright though?” I brushed off and assured him I was fine. He didn't look very convinced. “You need a minute?” Bolt asked. “No, we can't stop now. Let's hop into this area.” I said. Bolt nodded and jumped into the area below. I hopped in after him while he caught me, so I didn't fall to the floor.
After glancing around, it was just a hollowed out cave, with a metal door up ahead. Suddenly we were confronted by two hooded robots, both wielding metal spears. Most likely guards. “This area is for Master Spark only!” The first one barked. “S-So sorry! We were j-just… uhm..” I stuttered. “We can't let outsiders know what Master Spark is doing.” The second guard said. “We will have to dismantle you both. Let’s start with you.” The second guard pointed his spear at me. The blood drained from my face as I tried to get away. But the first guard grabbed me. “Don't bother trying to escape.” The first one said.
Suddenly Bolt came and tackled the first guard to the ground. “Atlas! Help me!” The first guard yelled to the second guard, apparently named Atlas. “I'm coming Cedric!” Atlas yelled back to the guard, probably Cedric. Bolt didn't let up though. “You won't lay a hand on Carson!” Bolt exclaimed at Cedric. Punching him rapidly. I was still in shock, but my adrenalin kicked in. I stood up and started to dismantle Atlas. “What are you doing! Stop!” Atlas yelled at Bolt. but he didn't stop. I pinned Atlas down and started to power him down. “Hey! Sto-” His power shut off after I pressed a button.
“Almost.. Got it!” Bolt ripped out Cedric’s power cables. Powering him off as well. “Are you ok Carson?” Bolt asked as he looked and my scratched up arm. “I'm fine. A scratch never killed anyone.” I assured him. He didn't listen, and pulled out a roll of bandages. He briskly wrapped up my sore arm, leaving just my robotic one to be used. I thanked Bolt and we started discussing what we just encountered.
“Well, we got some information!” Bolt stated. “Yep! Apparently the being we’re up against goes by Spark.” I said. Bolt looked towards the door, then looked back at me. “Let’s keep moving” He suggested, then walked towards the door after him. Bolt pulled out his Saxophone and turned it to the flamethrower mode, and melted the door. “There we go!” Bolt cheered as we stepped into the next room, leaving the other 2 robots behind us.
Suddenly, we heard a booming voice from around the room. “THERE IS NO ESCAPE!” The booming voice from seemingly nowhere shouted. Bolt was not impressed. “Show yourself you coward!” Bolt hollered. With a grunt, and huge robot, the size of a small house, dropped from above. Sending a shockwave that pushed me down. “YOU ARE STRONG. BUT NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR ME!” The robot shouted, before picking me up and hurling me into the stone wall, knocking me unconscious.
Bolt was beyond furious. His eyes turned red as he faced the other robot.
“You hurt my only friend! You will pay for this!” Bolt roared before charging into the robot. “HAH! PUNY THING! YOU CANNOT PASS THE GREAT BOB!” The robot that called itself Bob said. Bolt was not giving up though.
Bolt lept and landed on the back of the robot’s head. And started torching it. “WHAT?! YOU DARE TRY TO BURN ME? I'M THE GENERAL OF MASTER SPARK’S ARMY! YOU CANNOT BEAT ME!” Bob screeched. Bolt simply retorted. “I already did.” With a simple punch to the microchip in the head. Bob fell apart, and his pieces scattered.
“CARSON!” Bolt ran up to my unconscious, still body that was lying at the wall of the room. “Please wake up!” He took out the bandages and wrapped up my head. He waited there, staying still, watching over my still body for 2 hours.
I suddenly groaned in pain after 2 hours, and sat up against the wall. “W-what happened?” I asked myself before I was suddenly hugged by Bolt. “Thank the stars your ok!” Bolt exclaimed. I was wondering what happened though. “B-Bolt? What happened?” I asked, then noticed the parts lying on the ground. After Bolt explained the fight between himself and the robot, he shared the info he got with me.
“He called himself Bob, the general of Spark’s army” Bolt explained. “If he was here, Spark must be near!” I deduced. Bolt agreed. I started to get up, but Bolt sat me back down. “We are not leaving yet.” Bolt told me. “But why?” I asked him. He replied. “You are not in the condition to fight right now! Besides, it's nightfall. You need to rest.” Without much of a choice, I laid my head down again, and fell asleep.
I awoke the next morning, feeling much better than the night before. I sat up to see Bolt playing his Saxophone on the opposite side of the cave, as to not bother my slumber. I walked over to him, and he stopped when he noticed me. “Morning Carson!” Bolt chirped. “Morning Bolt! I'm feeling much better today.” I stated. Bolt looked relieved. “That's great! We better get moving then. I sense something up ahead.” Bolt said, before he took off my bandages, and gestured for me to follow him.
I jogged to keep up with him. But after we reached the huge metal doors, he stopped me. “Shh! I hear talking” Bolt whispered before moving his ear to the wall. I did the same, and we heard a conversation going on.
“This is blasphemous!” The first voice boomed. “How could the guards and Bob be defeated? They were the best at their jobs!” The voice groaned. “I'm sorry Master Spark!” A second voice stuttered. The one that goes by Spark grunted, and a chair swivel was heard. “Whatever. Just make sure the machine is on and get back to your station” Spark ordered. The other voice’s footsteps scurried away, without a word.
Bolt turned to me and gave me a look. “Did you hear that? A machine!” I looked at him, slightly confused before it clicked in my head. “Could that be the cause of the substance?” I asked him. Bolt nodded and started to torch the metal doors with his flamethrower. I joined in and punched the door with my robotic arm. After a minute of this, the door caved. Inside was dozens of computer screens, a huge purple machine in the corner. And a shadow of a figure staring at us, with red eyes glaring at us.
“Show yourself!” I shouted at the figure. The figure stood up, and stepped into the light. It was a dark green bear animatronic, with a black cape and a blue top hat as well. “You two. You both destroyed my guards, and my general, didn't you? The bear asked us.
“We are not worried about that! Who are you!” Bolt asked him. “Why, I am Spark. The leader of an army I am creating, I'm planning on taking over this idiotic planet and starting it over.” Spark explained.
“This is insanity!” Bolt cried. “You can't do that to the planet!” Bolt looked flustered, and I couldn't blame him. “How are you doing this?” I asked. “Very simple. This machine here sends out brainwaves. Messing up the minds of both humans and machines.” Spark replied.
“Now if you excuse me, I must grab something.” Spark waltzed over to the shadow part of the room, and he grabbed a sword from a rack I had just noticed. Spark turned back at us. “I can't let you leave now that you know the truth.” Spark stepped forward, while I stepped back. Bolt was running low on energy by now, so he couldn't fight. I was on my own. “Why must you do all this?!” I screeched at Spark. He looked back, and sighed. “Nobody even cared that I existed. So I had to take it by force!” The twisted bear spoke.
I realised here that he hasn't had the best past. So I didn't want to hurt him. “Spark. Just listen to me.” I spoke softly. He tilted his head up to face me. His beady red eyes staring at me. “I know you may have gone crazy. But I can fix you! Stop this madness!” I say to him. Spark’s eyes turned blue for a split second, but his red eyes returned. “No! There is no chance to fix me!” Spark bellowed before charging at me with his sword. I stayed calm and moved to the side. Spark couldn't stop, and his sword sliced into the machine, causing it to erupt in flames. “NO! MY MACHINE!” Spark cried. Before his body fell to the ground from the impact. His wires fried.
“Oh no… Spark!” I said. I noticed the flames started spreading. The building caught fire. “Carson! Get Spark and get out of here!” Bolt yelled from the side. I just noticed that he was charging during the fight. He had enough energy for the moment. “You take him out! I need to find something!” I shouted. Bolt nodded and took Spark from my arms. And sped out.
“I need to find.. This!” I found Spark’s swords and his body blueprints in a drawer at the back. I shoved them into my bag before I started wheezing. I was struggling to breathe, so as fast as my body could, I got out of the building. And as soon as I dove out, the entire building burst in flames. All of Spark’s army, his monitors, his machine. Everything was gone. I looked up at Bolt. He saw me get out.
I struggled to stand up, Bolt assisted me as he hugged me tight. “You got out. Thank the stars.” Bolt murmured. I nodded as I looked at Spark. “Do you think we can fix him?” I asked Bolt. He chuckled, and replied. “If you built me, i'm sure you can fix him. He has potential.” I smiled and stared over the horizon. “How are we going to get home?” I asked Bolt. Bolt didn't reply right away. “We aren't too far from home. We can just walk.” Bolt finally suggested. With no choice I agreed. And we started on the long way home.
It's been about 4 months since all of this happened. I fixed up Spark from his condition. His brain chip was corrupted by power. So in reality, he is a very sweet bear. But he is no angel. I fixed him up using his blueprints, and he was overjoyed when I gave him his sword back.
As for the mind control? The machine was destroyed, and everyone was safe and healthy. And I shared my story with the public, and they became aware about how the corruption of minds can cause havoc. And that's about it! That was my story on how I became a hero!
END!
