Before Edited Version: A Jinchuuriki Forever: Chapter 2
Naruto sat on a wooden chair in front of the Third Hokage. The Third Hokage was looking down onto his desk. On the desk was Naruto's picture for the Ninja Registration Form.
The Third Hokage held up the picture and turned it to Naruto's direction. "Naruto, we can't accept this. You will have to retake the picture." The Third Hokage told him.
The Third Hokage did feel a little relief. He had been thinking that Naruto would have gone for something crazier than what he did in the picture.
Hiruzen Sarutobi-also known as the Third Hokage-was thinking that Naruto would have looked like a clown for his picture.
Instead, Naruto had gotten something calmer. But still unacceptable for his ninja ID card.
Naruto was wearing fox ears on his head and painted his face to look even more fox like. It slightly worried Hiruzen about Naruto's new obsession with foxes.
Hiruzen felt confident in Minato's sealing abilities though. That was what kept the worry to bay. Don't get him wrong, he was still going to get Jiriaya to check the seal when he came back, of course.
Naruto weakly glared at his 'Jiji' and childishly pouted. "I think it's a masterpiece, believe it!" He loudly declared.
After Naruto finished talking, the door was opened. A little boy came running in,"I'm going to get you now, old man!",and-after some distance-tripped over his overly long blue scarf.[Did anyone else think of Frozen when hearing "after some distance?"]
The boy got up and accusingly pointed at Naruto. "You made me trip!" The boy declared and that got Naruto angry.
One thing that got under Naruto's skin was false accusations. "Oh yeah you brat?!" Naruto picked the little boy up "I'm going to kill you, believe it!".
Hiruzen rubbed his temples tiredly when the boy entered the room. 'He's at it again' The Third Hokage thought.
A ninja with black circular sunglasses on appeared at the door. "Let go of the Honary Third's Grandson!" The new man told Naruto.
Naruto stopped his punch and the little boy smirked. "I thought you were going to punch me? Or after learning I'm the grandon of the Third stopped you?" The little boy mocked.
Naruto continued his punch and yelled "I don't care if he was your grandmother!".
Kurama lazily opened an eye before going back to sleep inside Naruto's mindscape/seal.
'Not worth my time.' The Kyuubi thought.
Konohamaru thought as he fell "He's different".
....--__--....
Naruto was walking back home. A look at the fence sent his eyebrow twitching. "Your disguise is horrible, believe it!" He screamed loudly at the fake fence part.
"Just as expected from my teacher." Konohamaru was the one behind the horrible disguise.
"Teacher?!" Naruto said surprised. Konohamaru nodded, "Yeah! You're worthy of being my teacher.".
That gave inflated Naruto's ego a bit. Until Kurama got in the way of course.
"The human probably just doesn't like his current teacher. You're just a substitute so he won't have to listen to long lectures all the time.".
"Shut up Kurama, believe it." Naruto grumbled as the ego he just gained, crumbled before his very eyes.
"Kurama? Who's Kurama?" The Third's grandson asked.
Naruto mentally cussed as he forgot the kid was there. "Don't worry about it. Kurama is a pet of mine." Naruto decided on and inwardly winced at calling Kurama a pet.
Just as he thought, Kurama was not happy with being called a pet.
"A summon, believe it." Naruto clarified after seeing Konohamaru's face. The kid seemed to accept that reasoning before approaching the topic about Naruto being his teacher again.
"So what will you teach me first Naruto~sensei?" The brown head asked.
Naruto started a mental panic as he scoured his mind for something to teach the boy. Luckily, Kurama exists and had finally calmed down.
"Try something simple. Like the Transformation Jutsu." The fox advised before deciding it had enough and went back to sleep.
Naruto silently thanked the demonic fox for that idea. "So what about the Transformation Jutsu?".
Konohamaru pulled a face "I already know that jutsu.". "But can you do it properly, believe it?" Naruto was quick to improvise.
The scarf wearing boy begrudgingly nodded his consent to that fact.
Naruto requested for Konohamaru to try the jutsu and the result was... "She's too fat." The blond jinchuuriki deadpanned.
Konohamaru transformed back with a puff of smoke. His head hung down in shame. Naruto sighed before starting "We have a long day ahead of us, believe it.".
It wasn't until sunset that the boys stopped. The younger male had finally accomplished his goal and could now make transform into copies of people without making them overweight.
The two parted with words of wisdom from Naruto, "There is no shortcuts in becoming a ninja or Hokage. You need to give it your all and work with everything you've got, believe it!".
Throughout the whole training session, Hiruzen had been watching them through the crystal ball he had.
The Third Hokage felt pride flow through him at that moment.
Ebisu also came at one point to take Konohamaru away. The boy protested greatly and after seeing the improvements in his Transformation Jutsu did Ebisu go away.
.....•^•.....
"Come into your mindscape" Kurama said as soon as Naruto went into his aparrment. Naruto gained a confused look before complying.
The blond boy sat down and closed his eyes. Soon enough Naruto was in a familiar sewer.
Clear distaste came from the boy, "Is there some way to change my mindscape, believe it?".
The Kyuubi thought for second before responding. "Yes. This is your mind. So using it-in theory- should be able to change the landscape.".
"So basically, all I have to do is use my imagination?" Naruto simplified. Kurama nodded, "Yes but only in theory.".
The demonic fox noticed its jailor's confused face. With a scowl, Kurama explained briefly "My two other jailors didn't take the time to interact with me.".
Naruto winced before taking a thinking pose. 'What landscape would both Kurama and I would like?' Naruto made an "Aha!" sound.
While making the sound, Naruto hit his fist to his other hand's palm. Naruto closed his eyes and scrunched up his eyebrows in concentration.
The sewer gave way to a blue sky and green grass. Large, thick trees surrounded human and demon.
Where the two were at was a giant clearing. The clearing had a river running through it. The constant roar of a waterfall could be heard from the distance
The cage shrunk and instead became a black color for the fox. It had a red tag on it with the words 'Kurama'.
Kurama approved of everything except having a collar but could live with it just fine. It was a fair enough exchange to actually be able to walk around.
A bit of pride for a better home and living conditions.
Kurama realized that the two went off track. "Back to why I wanted you here." Kurama stopped a bit for suspense "I've decided to let you sign the Fox Summing Scroll.".
Naruto gaped at the Kyuubi for a good five minutes. "R-really?" Naruto asked astounded. The boy felt touched and beamed at Kurama.
Kurama gave the blond an irritated glare before summoning the scroll. The fox instructed Naruto of what to do and the boy obeyed.
Naruto bit his thumb hard enough to draw blood. He wrote his name on the fifth box using his blood.
A handprint in blood came next from the boy.
The jailor looked at the previous summoners. All their names and handprints were faint and faded out. Especially the first.
Naruto thought of asking the fox about the previous four. He decided not to and instead payed attention to what Kurama was saying.
"In the ninja arts, foxes are best at Genjutsu. Foxes are also good at tracking and scouting. There are foxes that have a special talent. For example, trap making or an elemental ability. Elemental foxes are few in numbers though. Like any other summon, you'll have an assigned fox. You can use other foxes but that fox will be your main one." Kurama explained some facts.
"I'm expecting you to treat the foxes well or else." The Kyuubi warned with a dangerous glint to him. Naruto gulped and nodded, "I'd never think of it, believe it!".
After the demonic fox was satisfied, he finished off with an "I'd also suggest to hang out with your main fox a lot. Better yet, just interact and get to know a lot of the foxes. But your main fox should be your main priority because it will be the one you summon the most.".
Then Kurama kicked Naruto out of his mindscape before promptly going to sleep. Naruto grumbled about being kicked out of his own mindscape.
The boy noticed the time and sweatdropped. 'It's already midnight? That explains it.' Naruto decided to see who would be his main fox tomorrow. He slept soundly that night with a smile on his face.
