I randomly thought of this while watching people cosplay, here it is.

Kankri and a few others were taking a trip to visit Kurloz after he mistakenly made his girlfriend go deaf, and he sewed his mouth shut. Anyways on the way there a drunk driver ran a red light and ran dead into the car. Everyone made it out ok, well everyone besides Kankri. He ended up with his neck pinned down to the car seat. This caused him to be unable speak and sometimes he would have trouble breathing(and a few mouths in the hospital). Most pity him and miss his words but others are glad they don't have to hear him anymore.
