The wolf and the fox

This is a time where people just started to learn how to make guns even then most of them exploded in their faces. So most used their own weapons like swords or axes, but the creatures resorted to their fangs and claws. At this time of sadness and pain people fought with people and the forest creatures fought other creatures. Everything was in utter chaos. There were quite a few tribes that wanted nothing more than to be away from everyone else and live in peace. However the darkness always found a way to break the peace and tranquility and destroy it at the source. Darkness was not a what, but a who. It thrives on hate, anger, and war growing in power each and every day. It watches everyone and thing to make sure they were doing what it wanted and nothing more. One day in a village in the northern mountains a war broke out by the winter wolves and the humans. Blood was scattering the snow like leaves on a late fall, windy day. People fell in their own pools of blood as weapons were drawn and jaws were snapping. Darkness was enjoying the show so much that it did not see a young adult male, passed out from several attacks to the chest. He fell from his several injuries into the icy cold waters that lead away from the destruction. Even though the boy was human he, like his brother, was part of the wolf clan. Taken in as babies the wolves raised him and his brother as their own. They taught them how to fight, not knowing that the day they left them would be in a bloody massacre. With the wolves and the boys brother dead, and him dyeing, it would be a miracle for anyone to live threw this encounter. The current would take him fast and away from everything. His body was mangled and badly injured with swords and spears causing him to stay knocked out. However the pain would be nothing compared to the feeling his heart would soon know when he finds out all of his family was dead. When the sun would rise a human, sent out to get water, would find the boy laying in the sand. When walking closer he/she would see that his blood was turning the water red. The body of the boy was currently not breathing until the human walked closer making the boy gasping for air. Water and blood were filling his lunges till he coughed it all out. Weapons still sticking out of him like a pin cushion. It would be one hell of a sight for the human that has not seen war or death. War had not set into his/her land yet so they had no enemies or fear for the darkness. But that would soon change. The boy grabs one of the weapons and starts to pull them from his body. He yips in pain like that of a dog. His hands trembled as he finally got the first weapon free, however he still had a few to go. Looking up at the human his eyes widen taking up the weapon he just pulled from his own flesh and pointing it at her. "WHO ARE YOU!" he yelled, "AN-And... Where am I?" he looks around before starting to get light headed. When Amber woke up this morning she did not think she was going to find a human pin cushion, nor would she had thought that he would be alive. Still, her shock and fear seemed to melt as she watched him struggle to take a weapon out of him. She almost wanted to pet him because of pain he made. She was pulled out of her thoughts when he pointed the weapon that was implying him a few moments ago at her. "Um....I'm Amber, and your at the river of sapphires." She said, getting to her knees, trying to get a better look at his wounds. "But I'm pretty sure you just made it a river of blood." She said reaching out to grab a hilt of a sword that was in his leg.As the boy looked at her grabbing the hilt of the blade he yanked backwards thinking she was going to push it in before he yanked it free from his flesh. Yipping once more before holding onto his wound, he looks up at the girl. "That is of a place I've never heard of- my father told m...." he stops and starts looking around, "Where is my father! What have you done to him! Him and my brother! Where's my clan!" The boy was so frightened to his new location he dropped the weapon he once held and looked around, "Kasha, Hellthin! GUYS?!" he stood up limping as he tried to find who eve it was he was looking for. He didn't make it very far before falling onto his hands and knees. "What have you done with them?!""Stop moving, you're going to hurt yourself more." She scolded him gently. "And you where the only person her when I got here." She explained, trying again to pull a sword from his shoulder out. This time she didn't wait for him to react, it was clear to her that he probably saw her as an enemy. She pulled the sword out quickly, dropping it to the ground and toke a few steels back. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. Know, why don't you tell me your name, where you're from, and I'll help banged you up." She said offering a small smile to him"My father told me to never trust a human.-" He yips once more as she yanked one of the swords out. He stops and looks at the water before grabbing up the mask that was on his head and moves it back up and lets it rest on his head while he figured on what's happening. There were several feather's in his hair most of it was bleached and pulled back. He wore a black top that looked a bit small on him and had two weapons on each of his side that were metal and were made to look like claws but they were fist weapons. As he started to tell her his eyes got heavy and he started to stumble. "No- you... humans are nothing b-" he falls to his knees before his side hit the ground and he breaths harshly. Not only did he forget that he had several wounds but he kept moving rather than fixing them. She almost laughed when he said never to trust a human. "You're a human, you know that right?" She asked jokingly. She looked at his masked and suddenly forgot about what was happening. "That's beautiful." She whispered. The way it had little designs, to the fur, leaves, even the places where whisker where sapost to be. Then she looked at the feathers, they were from a type of bird she had never seen before. She suddenly wanted to grab on and run away, she new in his state he couldn't catch up. She takes a deep breath, looking down at his clips body. She walked over to him, taking the last sword from his body out then tried to get him to sit up"I feel like i'm going to empty my stomach..." he groans before letting her help him. "I know what I am, doesn't mean I don't hate it..." He growls before leaning all of his weight on her. He breaths out of his mouth with his tongue only a bit over his teeth. His canines were extremely sharp both his bottom and top. As he leaned against her his eyes got heavy and his body went limp. Thankfully most of the wound had already healed up. At this time and age some human's had different abilities seems his was faster healing. They were small abilities but enough to make the human life more simple when it came to fighting the creatures of the forest. What ever his man was clearly he wasn't from around her nor did he seem to like human's none the less he didn't look like he really had a place to go and he needed help with one wound that was caked with dirt so it wasn't healing like the others. She almost fell when he leaned on her. She suddenly wondered why he hated being a human. She chuckled softly as his tongue hanged slightly out of his mouth. She struggled over to the river, half dragging him next to her, her hands griping onto his free arm. She sighed as she was wast deep into the river, it's icey water running over there legs. "Are you sleeping or something?" She asked him as she looked him over again.Sure enough he didn't say a word and was sound asleep as the water rushed past his wound it slowly healed up and all that was left was a small scar. He had quite a few and on on his shoulder was a large dog bite. One of the men from her village was riding horse back as he halts and looks at her with the boy in her arm, "If you are trying to help him, Amber. I don't think dunking him into the water will be the best ideal-...." The man stops and trots over before seeing the weapons and the amount of blood that stained the sand red. "I think it would be best if we took him to the leader- and help if he is still injured." He jumps off of his horse and offers her a hand up so that she could get out of the water before drowning them both."Thanks." She said to him as he toke the stranger and she climbed out of the river. She saw his make falling off and grabbed it be for it did. "I'll see you back at the village, I still need to get water." She said walking over to her bucket and finding a place down river to get some UN bloody water. Then she headed back home, putting the water in her house before going to the hospital to see if the river man was there. When she arrived she would see the boy out cold with the elder of the village looking over him, "Amber? You were the one that found this boy? What did he have on him- and why is it that he has so many wounds on his clothing but yet scars under them? Do you know anything about this boy?" He turned around looking at the mask in her hands, "....That looks like the wolves from up in the mountains. They were white with red markings, the runts of the litter were normally black." He reached up and looked over the mask. "No man, woman, or child dares to go up that mountain because of the wolves....." he moves and places the mask next to the boy."I found him by the river, her kind of had like knife shaped like claws, it was pretty cool, he had all sorts of weapons sticking out of him, I don't know why he doesn't have wounds. And he said something about his father and brother." She answered sitting next to the boy. She smiled softly. He looked so peaceful sleeping. It made her forget that he had been a pin cushion when they first met."Seems that the boy has been threw more than I thought.. Well, none the less, I had your chores taken away for day. I want you to watch over this boy and see if you can gather a bit of information on him." The elder smiles before walking off. Meanwhile the boy lays still except his eyes twitch back and forth from a nightmare. He jerked forward and looks around seeing the girl again and him in a bed. "....You- didn't lie?" he looked confused before grabbing his sides and turned to one side of the bed throwing up some of his food. Not only that but a piece of lead in the shape of a bullet was in the pile as well. He groaned and lays on his side, "The metal rocks hurt worse than the blades." he sticks his tongue out to the side before seeing his mask."Oh my God you got shot and lived!" She said grasping a little bit. "Oh and I never g go back on a promise." She said s smiling at him. "And are you hungry?" She asked. "Because I can cook somethin if you want." She said standing up quickly looking into his red eyes. They where strangely bountiful, like how the blood looked mixed into the river, or the red on his feathers. It was something that was salient to be looked at as not acceptable, but strangely, it was. She smiled at this thought. The boy stretches, "Do you have rabbits around here?" He looks up at her and when he saw that she looked a bit confused he sighed, "Okay sorry- just my favorite. do you have any stags?" He looks back at her and then to the bullet, "As for the metal rock- the human's used them against me and my clan.... I remember my brother and father did not make it." he grabbed his shoulder looking down , "I always angered my father but he never gave up on a runt like myself. My brother was strong a true alpha.... Why did he not live and I did?!" He slams his fist into the nearby table nearly breaking it. His terms were off, runt and alpha, both were terms of a wolf pack. As he moves he grits his teeth before looking down at his leg, "Damn- broken....." he knew that one would take awhile he didn't know it was broken because the blade was holding it in place. As he looks over at the girl he tilts his head, "You smell of several humans.... why?""We do have stages." She said sitting on the edge of the bed. "And I guess you could say runts have to fight more than an alpha, I'm just guessing by the way, never been in that place before." She looks at the door way as she heard the table wine at his attack. "The elders where in her with me before, there kind of like alphas to us in a away I guess." She said shrugging a little bit. "Do you want the stage raw or cooked?""Raw? Is that even a question...." he looks at her confused before starting to stand up and felt a bit wobbly. He moves his hands to the bed to stop himself from stopping, "so are there more humans like you? Or just more humans..." as he stood up he walks over to her and sniffed her. ".....you have no alphas or runts in your pack... why do you lie like that? Being an alpha in an honor and the runt is always so hard..." he looks at his reflection and bit at his lip as he sees his human self. ".....damn darkness! I blame him for this!" He growls before grabbing his mask and placed it on the side of his head. "So- what side are you humans on?..." he looks over at her and waits for an answer."Umm... I think there are more humans like me." She shifting a little bit. "How can you smell stuff like that? And we do, we have a leader, and are you blaming night time for something, I'm confused, and what do you mean what side of the humans you are?" She asked thoroughly confused. "Also get your but to that bed wolffy." She said making up a quick name for him."Wolffy?" he looks at her confused before taking off his shirt and showing her where he got injured, "I'm not hurt. see?" There would only be scars left not even a bit of blood drips from his wounds. As he looks at his wounds than back at her he works on getting his shirt back on. He still made sure the mask wasn't going to fall off of his head and when he put two and two together he figured it out. "You don't know the darkness?!" He turned and looked at her and quickly grabs her shoulders and looks her dead in the eyes, "TELL ME!" he knew she was human but he didn't want to risk the lives of these people if he was going to bring the darkness here. He moves away from her when he didn't get an instant response and holds his head. "......." growling to himself he looks over to where the door was, "If you took me in and helped me even if I'm from the winter's wolves. Then I need to get out of here. Not only am I putting your clan in danger but you as well. You don't know the darkness he is what enslaves humans to do his dirty work. I say enslave but they do it of their own volition......" he looks around before biting his lip, "The darkness is a being that wants to kill or enslave anyone that doesn't follow his lead. None of the creatures do and some of the human's don't. But the humans that want to follow him do and kill everyone that doesn't." He moves his weapons onto his hands and then pulls his mask over his face. "Please....Don't follow him. He will kill or even worse things to the creatures of the land." The boy moves to run out of the building they were in before she could spend one more moment with him.She reached out, scarring a tight ,for her , grip. "If you know so much about him, then why don't you stay and help us? It's obvious you know a little bit on how to fend from him. Why don't you stay long enough to teach the people of the village, so when he does come, we end up on the right side." She said before letting him go. "Just please think about it." Her voice cracked a little bit, she felt like crying. She wanted him to stay. She felt safe around him, one of the reasons she had felt so calm at the river. She wondered if her could hear her heart beat.He looked her over than to her village, "...." he lower's his head, "The darkness will not spread to your land if it has no reason for it. I can tell by the smell of the air, this land is protected by the earth. The darkness will not come here unless it has a reason. Like a stray dog that wondered into your village." he refereed to himself as a stray dog knowing that the darkness would use him as a reason to attack. "....If you want me to stay so bad why not come with me. Your protected, it could be possible for you to change the human's minds.... They will not let me into any of their fenced in walls. They know my face and name. If you could change their minds we could set this world at ease and fight against the darkness?...." he felt a bit of hope in his words as he looks to her face as if to see what she was to say.She smiled, nodding softly. "I would like that, it sound amazing." She said sounding her excised. "I just need to grabe one thing." She said running over to her house. It was empty, always was, always will be. She went and packed a small bag of food and grabbed a fur clock. The clock was made from Fox skin and fur. It was the first thing her father killed after she was born, so to her parents and the people of the village she became know as the child of the fox.Him and the elder of the village were talking. He had his mask back on the side of his head before crossing his arms and kept talking. it was to far away to hear but it was clear that the elder wanted him to stay just like Amber did. Once they were done he started to walk over to her but stopping before getting to close. "....." He didn't seem to like the fur but shook his thought of it. "Ready?" he asked her before one of the villages hands him a horse for riding. "It's clear you take well care of the creatures here. The horse is pleased with everything you've done for it...." he smiles rubbing the horses nose. He helps Amber onto the back of the beast before grabbing the rains and was running along side both of them into the forest. He pulls his mask over his face and looks up at her, "Why - don't take it as me being ungrateful. but.... why did you want to come?""Well other than there's like five other people doing the same thing as I do, and I kind of don't have any family." Her voice was soft as she talked. She shrugged. "And because I wanted to." She looked down at the fox skin, she smiled softly. "You know my name is just a medifore for the color of a Fox's fur at dawn." She said smiling."Guess it's bout time i told you my name isn't it?" he laughs slightly before looking over at her, "I'm sure you couldn't say it in my native tongue, but in yours I guess it's wolf cub or small wolf. but it's Felan. But my dad always nicked named me runt." he smiles lightly before looking down at the floor, "....How much of the forest do you know about. Your village is so out of the way no wonder it's protected by the darkness....." he keeps walking while breathing threw his mouth. It was funny to watch but you would expect that when living with wolves."Felan." She whispers smiling at his name. "And I know none, I wasn't really allowed anywhere out of the village but the river." She explained looking at the forest in awe. It was so pretty. She thought smiling."so... you don't know?" he tilted his head before walking ahead and raised his head and let out a loud howl. It really did sound like a real howl as they waited a moment they would get another howl back before hearing the leaves starting to get brushed to the side as something ran to them. A brown wolf also known as a forest wolf looked down at Felan ignoring the girl. As it bears it's fangs so does Felan. "....Fine what news do you bring me?" the wolf spoke as clear as day as it laid down on the rock it was standing on, "I wanted to inform you of the location of the darkness. My whole clan was destroyed,- " "What of your father!" the wolf barked at him as Felan backed up slightly, "I don't know. I was taken down stream." the wolf blew air in his face before standing up, "Felan, I know where your heart lies. But it wonders if you choice to follow the path you must pick. Your father told me so that I could remind you." Felan nods his head as the wolf turns and heads back in. "...." he looks up at Amber, "We do not attack like the humans with those things that shoot metal.""Those are new, the one time my village had a gun, it blew up in there face." She explained frowning a little bit at the thought. "My village doesn't use them because they can be very dangerous for us too." She explains looking at Felan."There's a place out in the hills that been trying to make um more and more. Some of the bullet's are round and bumpy others are shape to look more like the one I threw up." As Felan looks over at her he smiles lightly and kept walking, "Oh got anything user your sleeve? Only human's get it creatures get the ability to speak. Mine's healing, yours?" He looks up at her as the horse snorts at Felan, "Well you don't needa talk. your one with humans." he shook his head to the horse."I don't really know, I've been really good at convincing people stuff, once I convince boy when I was eight that he was really a vampire. It was a week until he realized that I was joking." She said chuckling at the memory."... my brother did the same thing but told me I had fleas." He snickers before looking at the ground, "he was the one the get fleas the next day and dad dunked him into the cold ice water. He laughs before grabbing her rains and running as fast as he could before stopping, "... hold on?" He moves over to the edge of the forest and looks out of it, "...Amber look" he points out to show the humans that were fighting with other humans. Bags and clashing were heard as one human ran to them and died before entering the forest. "This is the darkness's work."She laughed at his story, smiling a little even. She held onto his waist as the horse speeds up. She looked out into a small clearing, separating a huge village from the forest. On it you could see people fighting, you could hear guns going off and swords clashing. She tightened her grip on his shirt as someone started to run towards them, dieing just in reach, if she was on the ground, to touch him. "That's horrible..""This is what the darkness wants, we came to these people when we needed food once and they are dying for it. But we're not going here." He clicks his tongue and they speed off in the same direction. "We go where the sky is black and is filled with fire" as they keep running one of the bullets hit Felan into the stomach he was forced off the horse and rolled in the dirt groaning before getting up. As he was about to head back to the horse one of the men tackled him and was threatening to kill him, "AMBER GO!" He screams before growling at the guy and bitting into his arm, "goo!" He muffled out as the gut punches him in the face. The horse started to run the direction they were going as fast as it could.Amber clung onto the horse as it ran away. She barely got control of it before it stopped all to suddenly, sending her crashing into its neck. She grumbled about how much it hurt as she looked around. They where in another forest, yay.she thought half sliding, half falling off the horse as she grabbed its rains and found a good spot to wait. When she started to look around she found that they were a good mile away from the fight where Felan had been. As the calms down her here it returns the favor by looking over into the woods where a spirit of the forest was watching over them. They were not common at all, most of the time they were thought as a blessing. As the little creature turned it's head it started to move deeper into the forest by a hop or two before looking back to see if she followed. She hesitated before following the spirit. She had the horse rins in her hand and started to slowly let the horse go. It was such a pretty spirit. Her clock flowed behind her, if you where in the right place it almost looked like a fox running. She half smiled as she got closer to where the animals had stopped. The creature jumps up and down before running further into the forest as they go the spirit stops at the edge of the forest looking out at a large place for people. Several fires and therefore quite a bit of smoke was building up. As he spirit looks up at her it points to the village as if telling her to go.She looked at the spirit and takes a small breath. "Ok I'll go there, but I have the question, can you wait for my friend? He has a black and red wolf mask." She said to the spirit before running towards the village, her clock flowing behind her, it almost glowed in the light of the fire. When she got to the village she looked around a little shocked and scared. The spirit just smiles before sitting down and starts looking as if trying to find the one she spoke of. As she stepped foot in the village two guards already pulled their blades out at her, "state your name and what your business is here!" A man stopped and looked over at her as he raised his brow and crossed his arms to see what she said. The guards waited as well.Amber looked up at the man how talked to her. he seemed...Difrent in a way, like most of the other humans she meet before. He was afected by the darkness. she told herself. "Um...I'm Amber, and I saw the fire and came to see if I could help put it out." She said smiling softly at the two gards."Fire?" The guard asked as the man walked over, "Let her threw, I'll be responsible for her." As he got over beside her he helps walk her inside. "Sorry about the guards but they are doing their job.... So are you new around this place? The man was so much talker than all of the other males, was a bit odd. "You must be, this place isn't burning in fact we need that fire to keep our place going." he pointed over to the area where they were making iron."ya, I've never really been out of my village before." She exspined looking around. "So why do you make iron in town, where people can esaisly think it's on fire? Why don't you make it a little out of town, so that you're not too far away." She said thinking out loud as she looked around a little, her eyes scaning the town"Not only do we need it but other's would try to steal it as well. We need to make sure that does happen so we keep it inside of the city walls. Everyone lives inside these walls." The man walks over and sits beside a pile of iron and then looks back at the girl, "So, what do you need? No one ever comes here to just look around let alone help put out a fire. people run from that. So....what's up.she smiles Softly. "I was send to help by a forest spiret, she looked really consered for this city. " She exspilled putting her hand on the wall. She could see her reclection of her long blond hir and dark green eyes, and the firey colore of the fox fur on her back and shoulders".........I don't see why." he said lifting up once of the pieces of iron, "We have been trying to kill the them for a few years now. She and a few other creatures have killed several of my men." he places it down then looks back at the girl. "We side with the darkness, only he can really bring true peace to this world." he stands up and gets her to walk with him, "Look." as he walks he points out the hospital that was close by. "When ever men, women, and children get hurt the darkness brings them here and that's when they can get treatment and other such things they need." he looks down at her, 'Why would we follow someone that wants us dead?"She shutters a little bit as she thought about the darkness. "On the way over here I saw a small battle or sccermish. It was horrible." She said looking at her hands as she recaled the merroire."That would be the clan that tired to steal our iron, the hell with them. For all we kno-.... Hold on? How did you make it here without getting kill or hurt? I know for a fact that you are not a skilled enough warrior to make it threw there without getting hurt or even killed." He looks over her choice of clothing, "Or did you go into the forbidden woods? It seems like that would be your only choice."No its my sdv class and the instructor is a dumb ass that I had to REMAKE one of her paper's cause the damn thing didn't want to work)"Well my house got scared and ran off.." She said then shruged a little bit. "Anyway, I've always been good at sliping through peoples fingures." She said shruging a little bit as she looked over at him. "What did you do, before the darkness?""Before? Nothing really." he gets her to follow him before taking her inside one of the buildings. "He is more of a thing that is inside all of humans. I know it sounds off, but the darkness is human's it comes with how their views of the world are. I think a being was made from it so when our view change so does his. Over here the darkness helps us cut down the forest so that we can get into the mountain to get the iron ore out of the land." he moves and sits down next to a table. "So- as the leader of this village, what can I do for you?" This whole time he was the leader and belittled himself to talk with her not even knowing who she was."You're the leader? Aren't a little worryed that I could have been carrying a sickness, or trying to kill you!?" She said suddenly felling overwelmed. "And I don't knoe, what do you want to know about me I guess." She sad pulling her fox skin clock around her. even though the town was really warm, she felt a cold brezze, something earry. she didn't like lit."Not really even If I died I wouldn't really care. Most of the village is well taken care of." he smiles before hearing one of the guards. "THEY ARE HERE!" The leader glares before grabbing his sword and heading back the way they came, sure enough there was Felan with his mask on riding on the back of a large forest wolf. two other's followed that were a bit larger than the other. Once they both were at the entrance the leader headed on top of the wall and looked over it talking with Felan, "What is your business here wolf boy!" the leader yelled down. Amber would be to short to see over unlike the leader, "I'm here to request aid against the darkness!" The leader looked over at one of the guards who nods his head and opens a small slot in the gate. "The darkness is not friend no foe. Why should to ask for aid against him." Felan jumps off of the wolf and looks up at the gate the wolves growled as if begging him to leave. Beside Amber the guard had a gun threw the whole and aimed it at Felan's head. "The darkness has killed my whole wolf tribe and my brother as well. Human's do his bidding and attack for him. I want to make your eyes unclouded by the hatred he places on everyone." The leader just laughs, "Unclouded?" Felan looked confused before the shot went off and went straight threw his arm. Hissing in pain as one of the wolves used his body to protect Felan and ran back to the forest with him. "Damn wolf boy, he's done that twice- but atleast we know his clan is dead. Send some men to the upper regions to help dig out that area and see if there is iron."Amber looked at where she belived Felan had been. She should try and follow him. She looked over at the gard who shoot him. She new it was him, she couldn't exspine why, but she new it. She walks over to the leader. "Did you give the gard primision to shoot him? DO you know how dangrouse guns are, not only for the people who are getting shoot at but also the person who is shooting?" She asked remebering the person who tried to shoot the gun and it exspoted in his face, killing him. "And how do you know they weren't going to try and make peace." She said shifting a little bit as she thought about Felan one more time. She looked over at the entrance one last time as she looked at a small spot of blood."..... We are at war with them, they are the reason my men are dying in the fields. Every day those of the tiger clan attack and keep us from out land. Not to mention their leader is pushing the forest close to our land." he didn't seem to like the face that the forest was so close, "Just wish all of the creatures were dumb beasts like they used to be.""There not dum." She mutter to herself before saying. "Why don't you like the forest, it's a buetiflul place. She said looking at her hands. "It provides for you more than you know." She said taking a deep breath. "I just want to get a better understanding of how you think.""You're clearly not from around here, asking all of this stuff. If you want by all means enter the forest and let your death take you. AKA the forest, you will not last a day in there let alone come out of it-" "Sir we caught one." a guard interrupted as he quickly ran out and looked upon a large wolf growling and snarling at everyone. He was locked down in a cage made of iron. "You filthy humans!" the wolf growls out trying to bite and pull at the cage.Amber looked at the wolf, walking towards the cage. She looked at it, noticing scratches where the wolf had bit. "Don't do that, you'll hurt yourself." She said putting her hand in the cage a little bit, no one was really looking. "Do you know Felan?" She asked quietly, not wanting to be over heard. "He's my friend, and i, promise, i'll get you out of here." She sai quickly looking back at the crowd before backing away quickly. The wolf growls and snaps at her hand just barley missing, for all the wolf knows Amber is human, and that's all it needs to know. The leader walks over and moves in front of Amber, "I told you child, they are not always nice as you may think." as the wolf growls and raises it's fur a few other wolves howl, and one of them was clearly different. The wolf responds with a loud growl before howling. "We are going to see if we can get the darkness here and see if the wolf will give us some information- until then why not go get yourself something to eat and we will talk more in the morning." It was slowly getting night time as everyone went to the hall where they handed out food."Okay, um, so in our eairly conversation I never got your name, what is it?" She asked looking down at her feet nevously. She hadn't been called child sccece she left home. It made her miss it so much, she pulled the fox skin closer, taking a deep breath of it. It still smelled like home"Havoc." he walks off without another word as the wolf snaps at one of the guards going by. The other laughed as they watched him jump. Inside the building she was handed a plate full of several types of food. However the meat didn't look like he's back home, didn't want to find out what beast it came from. Once it got darker and she was able to talk to a few people the guard yelled out from the watch tower, "He knew!" the people chimed in as they all laughed, "You know he always does." "Havoc knows the wolf boy would come for it."Amber shiver, making her way towards the cage. Her heart beat quickenn as she sliped past the gard. She messed with the lock as she heard the wolf growl. "Shh." She snaped at the wolf, pulling up her hood, the fox face was mostly intact, the eyes where out though and the mouth was sown shut. She fainly got the lock undone. "Get out of here." She said hearing loud noisesThe wolf growls but didn't take the moment it had to attack her. It ran off and jumped over the fence before heading back into the wood. But while it was going in Felan was coming in he ran across the roofs of the buildings before spotting Amber, The hole in his arm was gone but not from his clothing. As he jumps down to grab Amber and take her to the forest behind him was Havoc, "Shit-" as Felan spoke Havoc took out his blade and attacked him with it. As Felan turned he grabbed the blade and held it back, "I knew with a girl coming in here dressed as a fox must be a friend of yours."Amber looked at the two, they where ay a stand still. "Havoc, leave him alone, can't you see that to him, that maybe the darkness bad? have you ever had that much truble with you're land or your iron getting stolen before he came?" She asked walking up to the two. "You've told me that he heals your people, but have you ever need help healing you're people before him?" She asked her small hands raching out for the knife. "And in my village, we have a tridition, the first animal your father, or brother killes you become the child of that. Where I'm from my parents are the chilldren of the Jay and of the Deer, I'm the child of the fox." She exspined as her hands closed on the knifes hilt. "All I want is to stop this fighting, if you saw where I lived before this, how peacefull it was, you would never want to go back to this.""AMBER!" Felan moves and protects her as Havoc slashes at her hand. Felan has his claws on and his mask slipped off of his face onto his head, "So, that's why I've never seen you." Havoc smiles while Felan backs up protecting Amber, "Amber, what does darkness do? It' hides what's really there." Felan tried to get her to understand, havoc was darkness. "He want's you not me." Felan got the blade threw his hand as Havoc attacked. Taking the blade and Amber he jumps to the roof of one of the buildings and starts trying to get out,Amber looks at the city below. "Felan! We need to help them! they don't know the diffence between The darkness and what's not." She said looking at them. She looked around there soundings. "The exsite to the the city is over there."She said pointing the east."Yah but if I can ju-" he jumps over the large wall srounding the place and lands into the water below. He helps her back up and starts swimming across to where the forest is. Five wolves wait on them to get there as Havoc also known as Darkness watches them. "There's noting we can do about it right now..." he sighs and looks at her."Are you sure?" She asked looking over at the city. It wasn't that they where any really dager, the darkness seems to be taking care of them for know. "There food looks wired." She said rembering the wired meat they had tryed to give her."That would be the meat of all of the creatures of the forest..." he moves and shakes off like a dog would getting out of the water before looking at her, "We might just have to take you back, Me and the wolf clan do fine- but it might be different for you." he said truthfully, "You hardly look like you can fight.""So teach me." She said swimming behind him, she was slower, but it didn't look like she was strugling. "Please, I want to do more than get you hurt or, stay behind. I want to be abel to convice people that your people are not the enimay, that there just trying to sevive like they are." She said faniy getting out of the river."They are finished!" Felan yelled at her before walking over to the wolves and jerking out the dagger in his hand. Once again he yipped like a mutt and then looked at her, "sorry for yelling, it's just- we know once the darkness sets in he throws out false information. He tried to go and do it to me."Amber let out an small sigh as he yelped. She still had the over wellming feeling to pet him, just like the first time they meet. "You don't have to appolages Falen. I know you've been doing this longer than I have." She said smiling faintly at him."The human's around this area are all corrupted by him" Falen sighs and one of the wolves shook his head, "That's just human nature. Only reason you are like you are is because you were raised by wolves. Reason I still don't trust the one with a dead fox on her head." he growls before Felan growls back at him, "Hold you tongue pup, you know I could beat you in a fight, " the wolf raised it's body and looked back at Felan, "Just because I'm the runt doesn't mean I am not going to be able to fight.... None the less we need to get all of the other's of the forest together." The wolves nod as one walks over and helps Amber on it's back while the other let's Felan on his, they race to the center of the forest was.Amber thanks the wolf that helps her whens she slides off it's back. She smiled a little bit at it. She new that the wolves wouldn't trust her easily as they trusted Falen. She was willing to do what ever she had to do to gain there trust.________________comet for more of storry______________________________________________________
