in a world where Devils are born from human fears. Devils are usually dangerous and malevolent, their power is proportional to the fear they incite. However, humans can form contracts with them to use their power, and there are individuals specializing in hunting and employing them, called Devil Hunters.

The Loud Family was well-known for their demon-hunting prodigies but also hated by all Devils. When the latest of the Loud Family bloodline was attacked by powerful Devils, their children had to flee their homes. Each Loud sibling not knowing what became of their siblings, unless they went out to find them.

Lincoln Loud works as a part-time Devil Hunter to make ends meet with a dog-like Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. After a bad hunt nearly takes his life, the Loud boy makes a contract that fuses his body with his Chainsaw Devil partner, granting him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws.
