Hannah's POV:

I'm alone,

I lost my chance at a happy ending a long time ago,

All because of a stupid mistake,

Which could have easily been avoided,

But I ruined everything,

And I lost him forever...

I was 25 with honey blond hair and I had just left the museum making sure to lock the doors since I was the museum curator. "If I hurry I can freshen up a bit before my date with Jim" I whispered to myself running down the sidewalk.

"Will you marry me?" A nervous voice said.

Something told me not to go look. Something told me I should just run home and wait for Jim. Something told me if I was to look it would ruin my life, but I couldn't help snooping. That was my first mistake. I saw a male brunet and a long haired blond girl. Little did I know what accidentally came out of my mouth would mess up a whole lifetime. "Jim?!"

"Han!? I-I can explain!" Jim cried

Tears were poring down my face. "How-how could you do something like this!?" I sobbed. I started to run across the road with Jim running after me. 'Why me? I thought he loved me!?" I wondered heartbroken.

"Wait Hannah! It was a misunderstanding, she's my sister!"

I stopped and looked at him as coldly as humanly possible. If looks could have killed Jim would have dropped dead on the spot. "Really!? Than why were you proposing to her!?" I cried when Jim was almost across the road

Jim stopped in the middle of the road wincing at my comment not noticing the bus speeding towards him.

I saw the bus coming and screamed his name at the top of my lungs but he couldn't get out of the way...

Now i'm almost 30,

I know his death was my fault,

We could have been so happy,

My own foolishness resulted in his demise,

He was going to propose to me,

His sister was just helping him,

Now I'll never be able to apologize,

I lost Jim forever...
